Sun Inn

We had a lovely 3 nights.The rooms are well maintained and the staff very attentive.Breakfast was fantastic,will definitely be back .🙂

We stayed here for 1 night and, for us, it was a 10 out of 10 experience. We arrived by car and although there isn’t a designated car park, there is a space for luggage drop off next to the hotel. You get given a parking pass to park in a local car park only a few minutes walk away. Check in was nice and easy and the lady took us to our room. We were staying with our dog and there were dog bowls, towels and treats for our dog! The hotel is full of character and charm. We had dinner downstairs in the bar area. The food was lovely and Aaron took care of us. He couldn’t do enough for us and genuinely took care of our dog! The bed was so comfortable, it was perfect after a long day of walking. All in all we had a great stay and I would absolutely recommend this hotel.

Returned once again to this wonderful little Inn with its quaint atmosphere and lovely food . The staff were as usual pleasant and very efficient .

Beautifully located by the church, the Sun Inn is comfy and attractive. The staff were friendly and the food was good. The bathroom was spotless and very nicely designed with beautiful products (no single use plastics).

Had a wonderful stay at the Sun Inn, this is our third time and it does not disappoint. The rooms are lovely, very clean and fully equipped with toiletries, refreshments, etc. The breakfast is amazing and Jenny and the Team are all so friendly, we will definitely be back!

The Sun Inn is a delightful hotel to stay in. The building is obviously very well cared for and is right in the centre of the town. There is no parking but the hotel provides a free parking permit for parking throughout the town. There is a luggage drop-off point right outside. The rooms are very comfortable, well equipped and clean. There are lots of little extras eg biscuits, bottles of local water and luxurious toiletries. They are very dog friendly. Dogs are welcome in the rooms (bowls, treats, towels all provided), in the bar and there is even a special dog friendly restaurant. There is a small charge for each dog. We enjoyed dinner every night and breakfast was very good. One thing I’d like to also mention is the wonderful staff. Everyone was so friendly and efficient. They really make guests feel special. Thank you. I think we will return!

A very nice place to stay. The room was spotless, the bed was comfortable and there was a beautiful view out of the window in room 12. There were some thoughtful little extras included in the room eg biscuits, bottled water, cotton buds, cotton balls, toiletries etc The staff were super friendly and approachable and breakfast was cooked perfectly. Well done to the team!
