We had a one night stay. It was perfect from start to finish. The room was spotlessly clean with everything we needed. Staff were extremely friendly, helpful and efficient. We had lunch which was delicious, and also returned for dinner. I had the roast turkey Christmas dinner and my husband had fish and chips. Both were really good portions and very tasty. We will definitely be back.

Great hospitality, nothing too much trouble made very welcome. Room well appointed with view out across the bay towards grange.Food up to the usual high standards full English Breakfast generous enough to last until dinner. Fantastic range of ales to go alongside eats.

We stayed here just for one night, as we was going to a function at the local golf club down the rd. What a beautiful hotel rooms good, food good, staff 10/10 what a quaint hotel, 10/10 I would recommend to anybody. Beer garden, conservatory, Parking, Restaurant, Pub, lounge, everything you need.

Delicious food, great service, lovely friendly staff, we had the fish and chips and the mince pie, chips and peas, it was all lovely and hot and delicious. The staff are so friendly, lovely atmosphere, would 100% recommend, it is also set in a lovely village, the fires were all burning, very cosy.

We look forward very much to returning for another stay. It has a warm, welcoming, friendly atmosphere thanks to the lovely, helpful and efficient staff. The food is excellent. Our room was very comfortable. The decor makes the public rooms feel relaxed and comfortable. Just Great - Thank You

We had a fantastic family meal here, they easily catered for all 20 of us and we had our own space in the restaurant. The food is superb and the staff are so accommodating and friendly. Some of us also stayed over and the the rooms are really comfy with spectacular views across the bay. The breakfast was also amazing. I couldn't fault anything about our meal and our stay, definitely a hidden gem.

Excellent staff good fresh cooked breakfasr and evening meal stayed 4nights would recommend free Wi-Fi and we stayed in room 9 perfect small sitting room with tv onto bedroom very comfortable bed and large bathroom with shower cubicle and a bath

Went here today 18 August and on entering we decided we liked it. Lovely bar area, plenty of tables and ample outside seating. We were just going to have a drink, but decided to have a bite to eat. The menu isn’t massive ( thank goodness, who needs all that choice) but the Sunday roasts passing us for other diners looked amazing! We had a sandwich each with possibly THE BEST CHIPS I’ve ever eaten !!! Attentive not intrusive staff, gorgeous surroundings and welcoming atmosphere. We will be back to stay over. Go and try the chips!!

Some good some not so ! Good - friendly and helpful staff Ok - meals Poor - wine selection by glass (at bar) - All were Jack Rabbit variety !? Savignon Blanc was dire. Lipstick on glass ! Shabby outside and garden - on previous visits it was better so felt like things had slipped
