July 2024 - We had a spectacular holiday at the Beaver Guest Ranch. We stayed for 3 nights in their beautiful guest suite on the ground floor of the lodge. The king bed in our room was very comfortable, with fresh luxurious bedding. Our nephew was super happy in his own room that had bunk beds. We had a huge, lovely bathroom for our family. There is a shared kitchen available with bar fridges, and complete cooking facilities if needed. This was very handy as we brought our own snacks, lunch food, and beverages such as beer, wine, and non-alcoholic drinks. Nicola and her team took such great care and attention ensuring we had everything we needed, in a relaxed hosting style that really made us feel welcome. The entire main lodge is beautifully renovated, with a cozy open concept dining room. Our package included breakfast and dinner, each meal we had was exceptional! We were never hungry, and Nicola prepared us an authentic German meal on our last night. The main reason we chose this ranch for our holiday was for the trail riding experience. Nicola has an incredible herd of 8 horses that are all so sweet and amazing. We got to go on 2 fantastic trail rides, and we were also given some private lessons as we are beginner riders. This was above and beyond my expectations! Nicola cares deeply for the safety and well-being of both her guests and horses, and I was so happy to learn some proper riding skills to expand my knowledge and experience for next time. We also learned how to groom the horses, clean their hooves, and how to saddle them properly. We can’t wait to book our holiday for next year. I highly recommend Beaver Guest Ranch for anyone looking to explore a beautiful, peaceful area of BC. It is a tranquil destination where you can find adventure such as horseback riding or canoeing, or bask in the fresh air and quiet natural surroundings.

A beautiful remote place and lovely house with a warm and personalized welcome from the owner Dinner was great and breakfast was awesome A fantastic place to stay and enjoy horse riding through the multiple lakes around

We had a great 3 night vacation. I am a horse rider and went with my beginner rider husband. The horse riding was fun, I enjoyed riding to Higgins lake. The horses were well behaved. There are other things to do, we went swimming to Sulphorous lake close by and would have a small 5km run in the mornings. There are canoes, and fishing. If you don’t want to horse ride they take you for a ride on the ATV. The food was very good!! Lunch is not included in the package, we brought sandwiches for lunches, but there is a kitchen and fridge if you want to cook your own lunch. The rooms were nice, with a table and chair or couch. The bathroom, which was assigned just for us was just across the hall. There are suites with the washroom inside the suite, but you do get a private bathroom regardless. The food was very good. I would suggest booking your trip over Friday night for the all you can eat BBQ! Also download your videos and Netflix at home to save their wifi. The wifi itself was very good, we had no problem. Some German guests were Skyping with family from home. There is a dvd player with many dvd’s in the common area. Overall, it was the best deal in BC for guest ranch, we have been to a few. We plan to go again next year. This was one of the only areas in BC without forrest fires. It is not a dry area. We live in BC and are used to driving through fires. It was nice to have clear skies on our trip.

give the new owners a chance to wow you at there awesome place. we stayed there for three days on a family weekend, four adults and two teenagers. met some new friends from Germany. well appointed kitchen and living aria
