Una fantastica casetta palafitta curata nei mini dettagli, tutto semplicemente perfetto. Camere grandi tutte vista mare super confortevoli. Colazioni indimenticabili consigliamo il banana pancake. A disposizione canoe, sup, maschere pinne. Isla carenero top

Casa Acuario is one of the best places our family has ever stayed! The large room with outdoor kitchenette was perfect for 2 adults and 2 kids. There were many thoughtful amenities from floaties and snorkeling equipment to white noise machines that muffled the sound of the water taxis zooming by. Breakfast is delicious and Ariel does an amazing job helping arrange activities. The hotel has several very healthy and happy dogs that my children adored. The location was also ideal. Bocas del Toro is a series of islands, ranging from the bopping party town of Bocas to very remote islands. Casa Acuario is in a perfect location - close to the main areas via water taxi but far enough away to be peaceful. We can’t wait to come back! Tip; bring plenty of cash including small bills. While Casa Acuario takes credit card, most places don’t and there is not ATM service on the island.

Mandy and JP are amazing hosts. This place is magical. It is our second time back to Bocas and first time at Casa Acurio. We will be back next year! The food was great. The staff wonderful ( especially Gabriel ) the water toys the sunsets and hammock!!!! All of it so so good. Real people doing what they like in a place they love. Go

There are no words to describe how amazing this place is, but I will try anyway. Our favorite part about it is that you can snorkel, paddle board, kayak, and swim right off of your front porch. They have all the water toys you could want, and they are free to use. There is an insane amount of fish under the dock and porch that you can see when snorkeling. Bed is super comfy. Rooms are perfect! So beautifully decorated. On site breakfast is delicious! The owners are amazing. They send you all the info you could possibly need, and are so quick to respond to questions. Gabriel is on site during the day most days, and he is a doll! So fun to chat with and he is a wealth of information. We could have talked with him for hours. I LOVE how environmentally conscious they are. They have recycling bins for everything! They even have snacks, drinks and adult beverages you can put on your tab, any hour of the day or night. It was nice to grab a beer or glass of wine when I wanted one, without having to buy it at the store. They literally think of everything! We are already trying to figure out when we can come back!!! Thank you guys so much for a wonderful stay!!

Casa Acuario is located in Isla Carenero, which is a one minute, $1.00 water taxi ride. Owners Mandy and JP have done a lot with this beautiful and romantic property overlooking the Caribbean ocean. You can literally jump off your deck into the ocean and enjoy some excellent snorkeling underneath and around the over the water hotel! The rooms are large and beautifully appointed with lots of wood, nice beds and bedding, lovely furniture, TV, good Wi-Fi, fresh drinking water and wonderful soaps and shampoos. Each room has its own lovely deck/balcony with a table and chairs and a hammock where you can relax and watch the boats go by. There are also rafts and surfboards and games to enjoy as guests. Casa Acuario has delicious breakfast offerings in the morning and they offer snacks and juices and beers and even a small gift area which is all done through the honor system. A special shout out goes to Gabriel, who was both delightful and accommodating. Their sweet gentle doggies on the property that make the place feel more like home. There are several restaurants within a short walking distance such as Bibi's on the beach, leaf-eaters, a little Mexican taco and quesadilla stand, and more. Only a short distance away is the Panama Dive School Bocas Del Toro where you can go on scuba diving excursions. We have been to Casa Acuario multiple times and would definitely recommend it to others looking for a special and memorable experience.

This place is truly special. As soon as you arrive you feel like you’ve discovered a gem. You immediately notice the many carefully curated details that have been thoughtfully placed around the property. The rooms have this old world yet refined design that invite a sense of ease and familiarity to the whole experience: The owners and staff deliver attention and warmth with every service. The food is always delicious and the convenience of other restaurants just walking distance away make for a fun and relaxing day. We both slept amazing which is extremely important to us!!! We have been to many, many places in the world and this is a place that will forever be in our hearts as one of our most favorite places.

This was our second stay at Casa Acuario. What makes this stay magical for us is the beautiful setting. During our most recent stay, we were on the second floor. Having higher views of the bay, views out towards Bocas town, and looking towards the mainland was very nice. We enjoyed the afternoon sunset and, this time, a full moon in the evening. Mandy and JP have decorated the rooms with a nice homey flair, which is very relaxing. Being able to enjoy the cool breeze while chilling out in the hammock was a nice change. The rooms are very spacious and comfortable, from the soaps in the room and fresh water to the nicely sized bathrooms and showers with hot water. To me, it feels like home when staying there. Breakfast in the morning is amazing and filling, plus it draws locals in to mingle with. We even met our dive master at breakfast. You will not be disappointed while staying at this amazing establishment.

Casa Acuario is hands-down the best place my spouse and I have ever stayed. We spent a week enjoying its magic, half our time in a sea-level room and the other half upstairs. From start to finish, it was perfect. The rooms have been beautifully renovated by the owners, who’ve clearly put a lot of care into every detail. Each space is very comfortable, with thoughtful touches like eye masks, ear plugs, and white noise machines that helped a light sleeper, like me, sleep soundly. The rooms also have good A/C, fast WiFi, smart TVs, and more tech than you'll probably need because, let’s be honest, the real luxury is outside. The sea-level rooms literally let you step straight from your room into the ocean. The setting on Isla Carenero is ideal: laid back but just a quick water taxi ride away from Bocas Town. The views of Bocas Town and the sunsets from the sundeck never get old. The hosts and all the staff were welcoming, incredibly friendly, and went out of their way to make us feel at home. Their recommendations for food, activities, and local experiences were spot-on every time. Breakfast each morning on the cozy patio was such a treat. The food was fresh and delicious. We also made good use of the complimentary paddle boards, kayaks, and snorkel gear. If you’re considering a stay at Casa Acuario—go. We’re already dreaming about our next visit.

We have just spent a wonderful week at Casa Acuario, it starts with the fabulous location, then the hotel itself, both the lovely rooms and the great team that run it. Arriving on your speedboat taxi from Bocas town is the start of the adventure, which is what the whole stay felt like. The day starts with a very good breakfast, a selection of 6 or more dishes available, from there the dining options on Isla Caranero provide excellent choices at very good prices. Just on Mondays there is only Carnitas Mexican available. There are plenty of options for excursions and Mandy has a long list of recommended tour operators. Or you can just laze looking out across the amazing vistas or look down into the clear seas watching dolphin, fishes, starfish rays etc. There is also an array of watersports equipment available to use. Of course paradise isn’t perfect and there is some noise from the speedboats and the sandflies can be a bit pesky but both have remedies available. Can’t wait for a return visit.
