Anniversary and birthday. Beautiful hotel looking over Cardiff Bay /Penarth. We had a room overlooking the bay on the 7th floor. Stunning views. Used the Spa and really enjoyed the hydrotherapy funnels. Try and avoid child swim times if you want a little peace. Breakfast was vast offering everything you could possibly need. Catering for vegans too. Lovely stay

Perfect Hotel to explore Cardiff! Really central. Lovely friendly staff. In fact every single person we met in Cardiff was so so friendly! Couldn't believe how quiet it was in the rooms considering we were there on a Six Nations weekend. Superb security on a Six Nations weekend that ensured only residents could access the Hotel. The rooms are compact, but perfectly formed, you have everything you need!! Bed was super comfy too! We didn't opt for breakfast so can't comment on that, but I would highly recommend this great Hotel. We would absolutely return!

Andato a Cardiff per la partita di rugby. Rimasto al IBIS. Molto deludente e non sarebbe sicuramente tornato. Camera piccola e stranamente formata - area seduto in linea di vista diretta con toilette. Nessun bagno. Windows che non apriva quindi nessun aria fresca. Fortunatamente siamo riusciti a cambiare le camere per la seconda notte. Tuttavia, il personale della ricezione è stato utile, cortese ed efficiente. L'ingresso dell'hotel è fuori un centro commerciale senza ostacoli che non fa alcun favore.

Ice maker is ready on each floor. It’s come with water also. NO Fridge is a bit disappointed. Stay 5 days 4 Nights… not suggest staying in the summertime; you must request Fan. AirCon is only available at 10:00 p.m. If you complain, that no doubt that the response is more rapid than expected. But the problem remains the same. A fan may probably be available for you. No late check …my first time to request to pay for a late check such as 12:00. (Due to my train is at 14:00) All staffs are polite when approached and in a helpful attitude…BUT as I said. Everything remains unchanged. Good luck all

The hotel is in an excellent location very close to the train station. The breakfast is nice and staff are helpful and friendly. It would be nice if there where some shaving and toothbrush available in the room, otherwise excellent.

The room was pleasant enough, with a comfortable bed and TV with Netflix etc. The shower however had a broken shower head, which was easily fixed so wasn't too much of a bother. We however did have a quarter filled bottle of shower gel in our shower. There is also not much storage, if staying for more than a few nights. Our room was also not cleaned daily, as advertised. No one ever cleaned our room while we were out. We were fortunate enough to not encounter any staff until the morning we were meant to be leaving. No staff greet you as you come in, but that didn't bother us much in terms of self check in. But might not be suitable to guests with special needs. The worst of it had to be the 'Guest Relations Coordinator' Luke H. We emailed after being horribly awoke by a blaring alarm at 7am - when check out wasn't until 10am. We see this is a staff error and/or a misguided attempt at awaking guests 3 hours before check out. My disabled girlfriend was visibly distressed by this event, so wrote an email saying we would have to check out later has she would have to calm down from this experience, as she was very overwhelmed. Then instead of simply emailing a response, to us being upset at our rude awakening. Luke H, decided the most intelligent course of action would be to pound on our door half an hour later - only waking us further. He was beyond aggressive, agitated and confrontational in this interaction and I can honestly say I was in fear for our safety with his erratic and unpredictable behaviour during our conversation. I simply agreed with was he said, to try and stop his emotions spiral further out of control, in between his unhinged ramblings, stomping and pounding. After that situation was defused, we made sure our door was looked, in fear of his return. I would suggest to the hotel that Luke H, be place on some kind of company funded anger management course/support group to help him control these outbursts and for the general safety of guests and those who work with him. All the best. I would say that we would comeback to the hotel, as otherwise it was a positive experience, but the fear of seeing this man again will forever stop that from being possible. Luke H. is a truly terrifying individual and I would advise everyone who stays here to be wary of him.

This was a nice little place to stay everything is central to where I needed to be and go too, the town centre is literally less than 10mins away and the train station is also. I traveled down for the WWE Clash At The Castle Event at the principality stadium which was right opposite where I was staying, so I didn't have to travel to far. The room was spacious and very clean, toilet and shower(nice and hot too) & was very clean aswell. Overall enjoyed it here.

I was here for one night with a tour group and was grateful it was only one night. This hotel is right in the city of Cardiff, across from a Cineplex and shopping. I was on a second floor. No air conditioning so be prepared to leave your windows open if it's warm and to hear street noises. It's not the hotel's faulty, but there was a stag party going on across the street at the pub and they were singing and yelling until 3:30 am- not exactly helping anyone to sleep. (If there had air-conditioning, you could keep your windows closed and not hear as much noise). The room was unspectacular but fairly clean. The hotel could have used a makeover. It was adequate for the time I spent there but I'd never return. The hallways are very confusing for exits and entrances. The lobby is particularly strange (see the photos). The buffet breakfast was just okay and it was overrun with tour groups like ours- making for shuffling and pushing your way through the crowds to get coffee and food. It was a ”meh” for me.

La camera era ben cotta, il letto era comodo, il wifi funzionava bene. Il cibo sembra essere meno buono di prima. Nessun marmalade! pane bruno di scarsa qualità. Tuttavia, si è divertito con la macchina del pancake! Il personale è molto utile e piacevole, e mi piaceva il servizio bagagli, che era molto utile. Probabilmente rimarrò lì ancora - è buono per il prezzo richiesto e è in una posizione centrale. Grazie.
