This is a great place to stay and enjoy the area. Close to the river Gardon, where swimming is possible, the place is in a typical ancient village of the Cévène back country. The house is great, with thick walls and large common areas and the garden is very large, also includes a swimming pool. The host are very friendly and welcoming.

I stayed for a week in one of Sabine and Mathijs' beautiful gites. A comfortable bed, a delicious breakfast with home-made jam every day and total relaxation ensued. The surroundings are beautiful, lovely towns, the beach, a beautiful hinterland, all within an hour's drive. I definitely recommend this location. Mathijs and Sabine are fantastic patrons. Next year again.

We had a wonderful stay, and the breakfast was terrific. Charming place, will definitely be back. The town is very quiet and is located in a perfect location for a stop on your way to the mountains. The host is incredibly welcoming.

We stayed at l’Orangerie de Cardet for one week, and we had an absolutely magnificent time! The location is simply perfect: in a beautiful green area of sunny Southern France, with the river Gardon nearly in the backyard, and Côte d’Azur within driving distance. A lot of fun activities to do and nice villages to visit within driving distance as well. The rooms have a wonderful typical French a**osphere, and the hosts do everything in their power to ensure you will feel truly at home. Breathtaking property, absolutely worth visiting this gem!

Un séjour idéal où j'ai eu la chance de loger tous mes amis et ma famille pour une réunion champêtre sur 4 jours. Sabine et Mathis, les propriétaires, sont à la fois de vrais professionnels et des hôtes attentionnés et accueillants jusque dans les moindres détails.

C’était parfait ! Très bel endroit, calme, reposant hôte très accueillant et sympathique Super petit déjeuner fait maison Chambre au calme et cosy Adresse à conserver si on repasse dans la région ! Et pourquoi pas en gîte avec nos enfants ???

Nous avons été très bien accueillis par le maitre d'hôte. Une personne très gentil, agréable, qui aime échanger avec ses clients. Une chambre propre, un diner parfait, et un petit-déjeuner copieux. Nous vous recommandons sans réserve cette maison d'hôte.

Séjour de 4 jours en chambre d'hôte (avec excellent dîner à notre arrivée) passé dans les meilleures conditions possibles. Propriétaires sympathiques, prévenant et plein de bons conseils sur les lieux touristiques à découvrir. Nous recommandons vivement ce très bel endroit.

Die Orangerie de Cardet ist ein wundervoller Ort um sich wohlzufühlen. Die Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich und herzlich, sodass man sich wie zuhause fühlt. Die Zimmer/ Apar**ents sind groß und schön gestaltet. Die Anlage ist gepflegt und schön grün. Der Ort Cardet ist klein, charmant und harmoniert mit dem Hotel. Eine Weinstube und ein Bäcker mit einer kleinen Auswahl an Lebensmittel (zum frühstücken) sind zwei Minuten entfernt. Einfach Erholung pur und man kann es nur lieben. Ich bzw. Wir kommen wieder ❤️
