Auberge de La Gaichel

Set in an idyllic surrounding, the Inn is lovely during the day and quiet at night. It is unfortunately not accessible for people with disabilities or physical limits. Stairs everywhere, no ramps of any kind either at the Inn or to access the restaurants. The service when you check in is friendly but there is no assistance to take luggage upstairs and parking is either across the street or in the back which forces you to take extra stairs or go uphill around the Inn.

This is a nice old-fashioned hotel in Luxembourg / Belgium boarders. Beautiful surroundings, great decoration inside and very comfortable rooms. Don't expect a modern facility. It's more as if you travel back in time. There is a massive garden as well, which I suppose during summer it will be amazing. The restaurant has some good selections, although a bit pricey and the breakfast was delicious with many options. Free parking as well.

We had booked this hotel well in advance and arrived mid afternoon. We had traveled on the motorway to this hotel up a country road, with nothing else around. On arrival we were informed there was no chef working that evening and we would have to travel to a restaurant. If you enjoy a glass of wine not ideal. When we asked why we weren’t informed, we were told they had sent an email - they had while we were on the motorway that morning! They directed us to another hotel which was excellent

J'ai passé une nuit dans cet hôtel. L'escalier d'accès à l’étage est un peu étroit. La chambre est bien équipée. La literie est vraiment de qualité. Malgré qu'elle donne sur la route, je n'ai entendu aucun bruit dans la nuit. Le petit déjeuné est bien achalandé et le personnel sympathique et compétent.

Belle auberge avec un joli cadre et un chaleureux accueil Il y a l'auberge et l'hôtel juste à côté. Nous sommes arrivés un mercredi soir et avons dû aller chercher les clés à l'hôtel car personne pour accueillir le mercredi et donc pas possible de manger à l'auberge non plus... Nous sommes donc aller manger au restaurant de l'hôtel, restaurant chic qui nous a coûté tout de même 140 euros pour un apéritif et un plat avec vin... Sinon petit déjeuner très bien, il y a de tout. L'accueil très sympathique. Par contre notre chambre était petite et donner sur la route et on entendait tout de même bien les véhicules. La salle de bain trop petite (voir photos) et manque de place entre les murs et le lit... Le parc est magnifique à l'arrière

Für zwei Nächte habe ich im Hotel, das im Grünen gelegen ist, in Zimmer 21 übernachtet. Das Zimmer im 2. Stock war funktional eingerichtet. Das Badezimmer und das Zimmer waren sauber. Das Bett war durchaus bequem. Im Badezimmer sind neben Handtüchern, Shampoo/Duschgel, Fön und Duschhaube vorhanden. Das kostenlose Wlan funktionierte gut. Das Frühstück mit Buffet ist fantastisch, die Auswahl groß und besonders das frische Bauernbrot schmeckt sehr gut. Aber auch das Croissant oder der Joghurt sind sehr lecker. Der Gastraum lädt zum Verweilen und Frühstücksbuffet genießen ein. Auch wenn das Hotel an der Straße gelegen ist, hört man nichts davon und es ruhig, sodass man gerne auf der Terrasse in der Lobby oder dem Balkon des Zimmer im Freien sitzt. Der Service war sehr freundlich, zuvorkommend und in verschiedenen Sprachen versichert. Das Restaurant ist wunderbar, es lohnt sich hier zu reservieren - da es gut besucht scheint. Neben einem kostenlosen Parkplatz gibt es einen schönen Garten. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist gut!
