Victoria House

This was my third stay and it was excellent as always. It is a home away from home. So comfortable, elegant, convenient and welcoming. Victoria House is my favourite place to stay in Cape Town. I have never stayed in accommodation as clean as Victoria House. The breakfast is delicious with fresh breads and fruit salad and a cooked breakfast. Corinne, the hostess, is lovely. She is caring and so professional.

We had such a memorable.stay here.We stayed for 10 nights and were always made to feel it was a home away from home.Corinne is very hands on, but in a professional way, but equally respects your privacy.Her positive energy and desire to make your stay as welcoming and enjoyable as possible is infectious. You arrive and she meets you on the driveway and ensures you are fully versed with the operational aspect of her B&B and you immediately relax and remove any uncertainty of your unfamiliar surroundings as you resolves any concerns or questions you may have. Victoria House is in a residential neighbourhood and the security measures provided assure you of your safety being a priority. You are in a little oasis ,very private,,with a beautiful garden and importantly an ample sized swimming pool to wile way your days. Corinne and Jean Francois went to great lengths to ensure that this house reflected its Victorian Heritage in all aspects - furnishings,fittings and tiles.The rooms even has english names - for this lovely French couple it is 'entente cordiale' Breakfast is English French German South African all rolled into one which means choice and a lovely terrace weather permitting to enjoy it. There is a beautiful orginal Victorian stain glass window on staircase leading to 1st floor - it is a centre piece which really reflects the victorian heritage Nothing is a problem for Corinne and any reasonable request is dealt with quickly and efficiently. The staff are excellent - discrete polite and efficient Thankyou Corinne and`Jean Francois for treating us like long lost friends - yes it was a home away from home

A beautiful guest house if you want to stay somewhere peaceful away from the centre of town. Lovely garden with pool. Very nice owners who provide a delicious breakfast. I look forward to returning when next in Cape Town. Plenty of parking space but easy access with Ubers too. Corinne makes many of the beautiful reception rooms available for guests to use. Thank you for a lovely stay to end my time in CapeTown.

Même en hiver l'Afrique du Sud reste très agréable à vivre. De belles choses à voir et découvrir et cette guest house est à n'en pas douter le petit nid idéal pour visiter la région et se ressourcer. Les hôtes sont très ouverts, chaleureux et de bons conseils.

Une deuxième visite en cette super demeure et une nouvelle fois super séjour. Corinne et Jean-françois sont disponible. Si vous voulez découvrir Cape Town c'est l'endroit rêver pour séjourner. Chambre super confonrt, et petit déjeuner au top

Sensationelles Gästehaus, ein Traum. Die Gastgeber Corinne und Ihr Mann sind an Herzlichkeit kaum zu übertreffen. Wunderschöner Garten mit Pool(27 Grad). Wir würden gerne länger bleiben. Das Frühstück ließ keine Wünsche offen. Sehr ruhig gelegen. Allerdings hörte man die Klima vom Nachbarzimmer brummen. Bei Dunkelheit sollte man nur mit dem Taxi unterwegs sein
