Elegante boutique hotel nelle immediate vicinanze del waterfront. Bellissima ristrutturazione. Arredato con gusto e dotato di servizi e comfort di qualità. Staff gentile e premuroso. Daniel e Bianca ottimi padroni di casa, pronti a fornire consigli e disponibili per qualsiasi nostra necessità per il nostro soggiorno a Cape Town dentro e fuori dal loro elegante hotel. Siamo stati benissimo.

La scelta di questo elegante hotel vicino al Waterfront, dove abbiamo passato 4 notti, si è rivelata senz'altro giusta. La struttura è davvero molto bella e curata, il personale gentile e collaborativo. Ottima la colazione. Certamente durante la stagione primaverile/estiva (ma l'inverno sudafricano è comunque mite) tutto diventa ancor più godibile (piscina, colazione all'esterno), anche perché il solo problema può essere il confort 'termico'. Segnalo la cosa perché mi da occasione di dare atto dell'attenzione al cliente da parte della struttura. Nella nostra camera, peraltro assai bella, c'era un problema con il climatizzatore, purtroppo non risolvibile nel breve tempo del nostro soggiorno. La mattina obiettivamente faceva un po' freddo, soprattuto nel bagno. Ho ovviamente segnalato il problema, la cui soluzione, purtroppo, ripeto, avrebbe richiesto un tempo che superava di molto la nostra permanenza (sostituzione dell'impianto). Al momento del check out, a 'compensazione' del piccolo disagio, ci è stato riconosciuto un consistente sconto, come gesto di attenzione che ho molto apprezzato. La valutazione complessiva della qualità del soggiorno 'compensava' comunque già la mancanza di qualche grado di temperatura.

Cortesia, gentilezza e disponibilità fanno cornice in questo bellissimo lodge. La camera e il bagno sono grandissimi e confortevoli. C'è la possibilità di parcheggiare l'auto in garage. La colazione abbondante con vasta scelta di dolce e salato! Davvero un piacere stare qui! Ah, stavo per dimenticare che c'è anche una bellissima piscina!

Siamo stati al lodge 5 giorni, ci siamo trovati benissimo, colazione eccellente, pulizia e cortesia da 5 stelle. Venivano a rifare la camera 2 volte al giorno e la posizione è molto comoda. Ci torneremo

What a beautiful and well run boutique hotel. After a grueling flight from the US, we arrived to find that our reservation had strangely been canceled. But no worries the fabulous manager (Melina from Germany) put us right in our room and settled us in with no hassle. My daughter and I were grateful for that the room was beautiful and had an adjacent courtyard with interesting Succulent plants. Every inch of the boutique hotel was well cared for and curated. A delicious Chenin Blanc and sparkling mineral water are put out every afternoon for the guests. Lounging around the pool was so relaxing and lovely. It’s a quiet place with beautiful nooks and crannies, including a rooftop. Melina gave us excellent advice,how to navigate the city specifically the waterfront and restaurants and shopping. All her recommendations were spot on. It’s a beautiful, quiet place to stay. I highly recommend Cape Diem and look forward to returning someday on my next trip to Cape Town.

The staff at the Cape Diem were the best ever. From the night porter that welcomed us with a welcome drink and helped get us settled, to the day managers Bianca and Melina that were so attentive and made our stay special. They helped with booking drivers to take us to the Cape of Good Hope, explore the wine country to dealing with a troublesome credit card which had expired. They were incredible hosts and we would stay there if staying in Cape Town again. The breakfasts were made to order, tasty and filling, Wonderful, beautiful;, comfortable boutique hotel that met all of our needs. It was also easily walkable to the Victoria and Alford center with great restaurants and attractions. PERFECT in every way. One of our best stays anywhere

Beautiful setting, and fabulous facilities super knowledgeable owner (Bianca) who advised us on trips and stunning restaurants. Perfect location to Cape Town, and amazing facilities. Fabulous staff and beautiful rooms. 15mins walk to the water front and shopping centre.

Lovely hotel which we would call more of a B&B. Host was great. Bedroom and bath were large. Afternoon tea or wine if you preper. Not really within walking distance to the Waterfront but within walking distance to a bunch of stores and restaurants and coffee. The pool area is nice. We felt very safe.

We stayed at Cape Diem during May2024 to celebrate my husband's 60th. I did a lot of research beforehand to select a most beautiful place in Cape Town, and Cape Diem certainly lived up to all expectations. As a guest it is much appreciated when your hotel pays attention to details such as well selected decor, awesome white linen, Mervyn Gers crockery with a hint of Richard art, friendly service, beautiful breakfast. Thank you to all staff and owners - you created a gem in the Mother City.
