The cosiest wee home you’ll find in the Highlands! “Tiny but surprisingly spacious”. We want you to enjoy this apartment as if it were your own! Relax as we have provided almost everything you would need. All you have to do is book, travel and enjoy!The space: Our sparkling 1 bedroom apartment is spacious, warm and comfortable. The perfect wee home in the highlands. You won’t regret coming here! It has a bedroom upstairs with a luxurious king size bed. A wardrobe for your amenities and a beautiful landscape mirror for those selfies. The apartment gets great natural lighting, highlighting its bright ambiance. The shower room consists of a WC and basin, all clean and comfortable for you to refresh. The living area has a HD TV with great channels to entertain you for a cosy night in, pull up a blanket and get comfortable on the couch to enjoy. The spacious kitchen consists of a microwave, oven, washing machine and fridge and freezer. Unlimited possibilities of meals to cook up with such ease. Toiletries, Towels and bed linen are provided, so that you can focus on relaxing and enjoying your stay. Free parking very close to the apartment itself. Well what are you waiting for? Go ahead and book while you can!Guest access: A lovely pine tree garden with a garden bench sitting area. Wonderful peaceful atmosphere where you can even bird watchInteraction with guests: You will be able to message me any time at all with any queries, issues or problems. There is a key lock box so you would be able to check in and out at your leisureBrilliant views to the UK’s highest mountain Ben Nevis, glistening in the sun with snow laid above all year around! The apartment is only 6 minutes away from the famous Neptune Staircase for those great pictures to post on Instagram! Banavie Train Station is also very nearby where you can see the famous Jacobite steam train and the Harry Potter train where the movies were filmed! Caol beach is also within walking distance along with some lovely paths to follow for a nice stroll. Local shops are only a 2 min walk from the apartment, including a Co op shop, Indian takeaway, charity shops, cafes, Chinese takeaways, fish and chip shops, post office and more! There is also a Costa cafe 10 min drive away. "The hotel is looking and feeling very tired and dated and in serious need of upgrading. They’re charging 2025 prices for 1980 standard services. They clearly cater for bus tours and large parties which are not there to appreciate where they are and their surroundings. There was serious problem with running hot water in the room as well as in the showers in the spa. I overheard many guests complaining about no hot water in their rooms at reception.
Breakfast was very disappointing, they offer a continental selection of one type of cold meat and one type of sliced cheese with pan loaf bread! Fort William boasts artisan bakery’s so no excuse there. During breakfast very loud 80s movie themed music is blaring, the dining room is so big there’s practically a speaker above every second table. When asked to turn it down we were met with a standard reply, “I was just asked to turn it up”. Totally unbelievable. Due to the large parties tables are not cleared fast enough nor cleaned, we had to clean and set our own table before we could eat and this is where we were directed to sit. Waiting staff are clearly not trained nor directed appropriately for a hotel boasting a high standard. We were not encouraged to dine in the hotel at all.
The exterior of the building is not only showing signs of disrepair but is also very dirty. They are missing the B in the main signage and is the first thing you see on arrival.
Positives: the room was clean although all views from most rooms do not look out onto anything nice. Temperature of the pool, steam room and jacuzzi excellent. The lounge bar appeared to have the best atmosphere and felt like a highland hotel.
Would I recommend this hotel? Definitely not!
Would I stay there again? Definitely not!"

"There is no fridge or microwave in the room, which is quite disappointing. But the reception staff helped us to store our things in their fridge, and even helped us to reheat our food in the restaurant nextdoor. Appreciated."

"When I got to the hotel, I was asked to pay a little bit more than what was advised by trip.com, but every penny was worth it!
Location is great, staff are very friendly and welcoming, the room was absolutely fantastic, and the full Scottish breakfast was generous and tasty. The only disappointment was I couldn't get a bath because the bathtub obturating plug didn't work properly. However, the overall experience was good. Thank you!"

在蘇格蘭三日遊中經歷了一次可怕的民宿體驗後，我不得不緊急尋找替代選項，最終選擇了離得最近且評分4.5以上的Maclean Guest Room。當我推開房門的那一刻，簡直覺得自己撞了大運！
房間的衞生堪稱完美，絕對是五星級的標準，乾淨整潔到令人感動；位置也非常方便，出行特別省心；房東的服務更是貼心到位，熱情又周到。最讓我感動的是，我把之前的遭遇告訴了房東，他們不僅表示同情，還主動為我提供了許多額外幫助。整個體驗讓我覺得自己像被拯救了一樣！
如果你來蘇格蘭旅遊，Maclean Guest Room絕對值得一住，這才是真正的“5+水準”！"

"Grande vista e posizione, a passeggiata di distanza ai posti. Il posto sembrava vecchio ma piuttosto pulito. Tuttavia, abbiamo trovato buchi nel nostro asciugamano facciale. Il doccia era confuso da usare. La pressione dell'acqua era bassa e non era abbastanza calda."
