Ohtels Les Oliveres

First time in this part of Spain. Found this hotel by chance on trip.com and everything turned out well. Little known to Asian tourist since we were the only ones there but encourage Asians to visit. Discovered this very family friendly resort in a great location with nice beaches and nature in the surrounding nature reserve. For kids, no need to leave the resort, fun just staying there. For more adventures discover the many beaches lining the coast and the wetlands further beyond.

We had such a lovely stay at this hotel last week with our 3 young children. The hotel is clean, spacious, bright and well maintained. We had an apartment with plenty of space for all of us. A cot was provided free of charge and the room was cleaned daily. The hotel was quiet when we visited. Most guests were older couples or families with young children like us. The hotel is in a beautiful location on a peninsula with stunning sea views. There are a couple of gorgeous stony beaches within a few minutes walk and a larger sandy beach 20mins walk away. There are some lovely walkways around the cliffs. Our kids enjoyed the hotel playground every morning. The outdoor pool area is brilliant with lots of different pools, including a shallow pool that our baby loved to splash around in. Our 3 and 6 year old especially loved jumping across the lily pads in the larger pool. There are plenty of sun loungers and the pools are all really close together so it’s easy to keep an eye on everyone. There are two lovely heated indoor pools too, including a baby pool. We made use of these daily. There aren’t many other places to eat within walking distance of the hotel but we were more than happy to have all our meals there as the food was fabulous. Loads of choice and everything was extremely fresh and tasty. Our children can be quite fussy but enjoyed the pizza and pasta options. We didn’t use the kids club as ours are still quite little but it seemed like lots of fun. Similarly, our children were asleep before the entertainment started but other kids seemed to really enjoy the disco in the evening. The staff in this hotel are second to none and made our stay so special. Every single person we met, the front desk staff, the bar staff, the guys in the restaurant, the lovely lady who cleaned our room, the animation team, they couldn’t have been more helpful and accommodating. Everyone really went out of their way to make us feel welcome and appreciated. We had a lovely relaxing, quiet family break and were delighted we chose this hotel. It suited us perfectly.

The staff are amazing! Alex the receptionist deserves a pay rise. He was great. Other than that I don’t have anything positive to say. The food was horrid. This review will just be about the customer service as that was the best thing about this hotel!
