Villa Rosmarino(Mr & MRS Smith Villa Rosmarino)

We spent a couple of days in Villa Rosmarino. Quality of this Little Hotel is excellent. There are so many details we enjoyed so much. Serving Breakfast is Not delivering food but Art. Thanks to Mario and his brilliant Team. Very friendly. Design of Villa Rosmarino and its rooms Are exciting.

By the time we arrived, it felt like we already knew Marta and Alice, as they provided so much assistance in advance - booking restaurants and confirming logistics etc. The whole team here is fantastic - Mario, Alice, Marta, Romulo, Rafaela go out of their way to make sure you enjoy your stay. The property is a beautiful boutique hotel, with only 6 rooms, set in beautiful grounds with the best sun-loungers (2 per room) and picture postcard views of the coast. There was no road noise and the bus stop is just outside if you don’t want to walk into town. Breakfast is wonderful, served on the patio and on our lazy day by the pool we also had a light salad lunch. Fabulous!!!!

This is a beautiful place run by lovely people. Marta, Alice, Romolo and Mario were so kind, pragmatic and just generally concerned to make our stay a great one. They went to great lengths to look after my mum and me, and were full of advice and support. The hotel itself is absolutely beautiful - spotlessly clean and full of thought-provoking art and a great library. Don’t look for a hotel in Portofino - stay here instead. Comagli is as beautiful, but a working port and town and so much more fun! Breathtaking views and a really stunning garden. But mostly, run by amazing, lovely people

Our 4 night stay at Villa Rosmarino was one of the highlights of our recent 2 week trip to Italy. It is the epitome of what a boutique hotel experience should be. Beautifully decorated, in a gorgeous location with great views, and lots of wonderful places to relax with a book or a glass of wine. Mario, the owner, is very charming and helpful, as is his whole staff ( special call out to Marta). They made dinner reservations, gave us great suggestions for things to do, but also left us alone to relax and enjoy the beautiful public rooms. Camogli itself is a very charming town, with great restaurants, an amazing seaside promenade and it is well served by trains and buses to Genoa, Portofino, etc. There is a series of staircases to walk into town from the Villa so we never needed our car while we were there. Thank you for a wonderful stay. We will recommend you to everyone!!

We chose a small boutique style hotel for our first visit to the Italian Riviera so we could get some personal assistance with planning our days, recommendations for dining and excursions, etc. Mario and his staff went above and beyond to assist us. They were ready to offer any help we needed but didn't "hover" nor did they make us feel like we were bothering them when we did ask for advice. Romolo was quick to provide us with our morning espresso and cappuccino while we dined outdoor on the patio. We had an amazing four days in Comogli thanks to Mario and the staff of Villa Rosmarino.

Due to Covid we had to wait 2 years to finally stay here in this beautiful Villa. Mario is an incredible host, the property is amazing beautiful decorated. A dolce vita dream! Breakfast is delicious with a selection of fresh fruit, italian delicious coffee. The staff is adorable special thanks to Mario and Davide always a smile to welcoming you. The rooms are beautiful, bathroom spacious, beautifully decorated, confortable linen, good hair dryer. I higly recommend this place. I'll come back very soon. Jo and David

wir waren für 3 nächte in der villa rosmarino......unsere erwartungen wurden jedoch nur zum teil erfüllt.... die villa ist schön gelegen und sehr designorientiert ausgestattet....es gibt einen abgesperrten parkplatz und einen gepflegten garten mit tollem pool und sehr komfortablen liegen.....bei schlechtem wetter kann man in der gemütlichen bibliothek verweilen.... in ca 10 minuten ist man bergab über treppen und kleine wege im ortskern von camogli.....man muss jedoch wissen, der weg zurück bergauf zur villa über mehr als 300 steile stufen ist eine sehr schweißtreibende und anstrengende angelegenheit und sicherlich nicht für jeden geeignet... der frühstücksbereich ist wenig einladend....die tische stehen sehr eng aneinander und eine person muss gezwungenermaßen auf einer unbequemen mauer platz nehmen.... frühstück gibt es zudem erst ab 8.30....das ist doch sehr spät, gerade wenn man an heißen tagen früher zu einer wanderung oder einem ausflug aufbrechen möchte... das frühstück selbst ist sehr überschaubar und wird jeden tag in gleicher weise serviert...auch wenn die produkte eher hochwertig sind ( vom joghurt im plastikbecher einmal abgesehen), hätte ich mir für den preis von 320 euro pro nacht doch ein vielfach umfangreicheres und abwechslungsreicheres frühstück und eine gemütlichere atmosphäre erwartet.... unser zimmer war einfach aber sehr hübsch eingerichtet....das bett war bequem und vom fenster hatten wir gerade noch den blick auf das meer... das bad war geräumig....jedoch machte der schwache wasserdruck in der dusche zb das haarewaschen zu einer herausfordernden tätigkeit.....auch bademäntel gab es leider nicht..... eine flasche wasser stand ebenfalls nicht zur verfügung.... auch hier entspricht nach unseren vorstellungen das gebotene nicht dem preis.. besonders gefreut hat uns, dass wir bereits bei unserer ankunft um 11.30 unser zimmer beziehen konnten.... der eigentümer der villa, mario und das gesamte personal ist sehr bemüht und freundlich....auch die konversation vor der anreise war vorbildlich....mario stand mit rat und tat stets zur verfügung und ist sehr darauf bedacht, seine gäste zu informieren.... es ist allerdings so, dass wir uns als gäste während unseres aufenthaltes sehr beobachtet gefühlt haben....mehrere male wurden wir gerügt und zurechtgewiesen....zb als wir ein stück foccacia am pool essen oder einfach den sonnenschirm etwas verrücken wollten usw.... wir hatten das gefühl, ständig in ungnade zu fallen und fühlten uns weniger "at home"....mit dem ja geworben wird....sondern vielmehr wie in einem landschulheim.......so hatten wir uns unseren aufenthalt nicht vorgestellt.... mittags wird in der villa rosmarino ein light lunch angeboten..... wir hatten uns einmal dafür entschieden und schlussendlich für 2 mal ein paar tomaten mit thunfisch.... essig und öl zum selbst marinieren und etwas brot 46 euro bezahlt....dies war tatsächlich der teuerste tomatensalat meines lebens.... zusammenfassend wurden unsere erwartunge

Séjour de 4 jours en septembre. Superbe maison, déco magnifique, très belle chambre super propre, piscine immense petit déjeuner excellent. Hôtes très accueillants qui donnent de très bons conseils pour les visites/balades/resto. Ce séjour a vraiment été génial.
