Sono locale qui in Kingsland, anche lavoro nella gestione dell'ospitalità a Amelia. Poche notti fa, sono tornato a casa dal lavoro (A quasi 1AM, vita dell'ospitalità!) per scoprire che il mio AC era rotto. La mia casa era quasi 90 gradi! Non potevo dormire a casa, quindi cominciai a cercare un posto relativamente economico per passare la notte. Non è vero, l’agente era al telefono quando sono arrivato, uno dei miei pezzi di animali, mi sono trasferito a questa proprietà, e Robin al divano ha fatto la mia notte. I tipici revisori notturni sono irritati da chiunque abbia bisogno di qualcosa, ma non Robin. Era al compito con un sorriso e un'energia meravigliosa. Mi ha offerto il miglior tasso flessibile e un check-out tardivo complimentare! Questo è esattamente quello che mi serviva dopo una lunga settimana al mio ufficio di fronte. Mi ricordava perché amo quello che faccio! La stanza era immacolatamente pulita e comoda. Questo hotel a catena ha un'anima che corre profondamente.

My husband and I decided to stay at the Hampton inn Amelia Suites Amelia Island last night. First the cost was 435 a night, which we thought was outrageous, but decided to treat ourselves. First the check in was not pleasant. The front desk attendant was not friendly at all. When we arrived there was a sign stating she would return in 15 minutes and was away. When she showed up we did not get a hello, not a welcome , nothing. I had to speak first and say hello and that we had a reservation. I gave her our information and she pulled it up and handed us our keys. Second we were awoken by a very loud train whistle between 530-600 am the next morning. Which continued about every hour. This was not mentioned to us at all upon making the reservation or at the check in by the hotel front desk attendant. Third, the next morning when we went to take a shower we turned the water on to the red area and there was no hot water. We let it run for about 5 minutes and still no hot water. We called the front desk and they sent up the maintenance man who told us that the shower dial was backwards and we needed to put it on cold for it to be hot. He said they did this during refurbishing the rooms as they didn’t want to redo the shower controls because they would have had to tear out the walls. We asked him if maybe they could put a sign up so people would know. He told us that would take too much to do professional signs. My husband told him an easy handwritten sign would suffice and he just looked at us and said he has told the front desk this information. Well, our check in clerk didn’t tell us anything. We are Hilton Honors members and I can say I have stayed in less expensive Hampton Inn’s and have much better stays. Just remember the more you pay doesn’t mean it will be a better stay.

September 2024 My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights this past week. When we were planning our trip to Jekyll Island we had originally planned on staying at the Westin for our entire trip but when we finally decided to book it they had limited availability and we were only able to get one night. So we had to book the Holiday Inn Resort down the road and the reviews for it were just ok. The Holiday Inn was hmmm.. lets just say it is not what we were expecting. Luckily I happened to check my Marriot Bonvoy App and the next 2 nights became available at the Westin. I canceled the rest of our stay at the Holiday Inn. We had back to back reservations and I was worried we would have to keep changing rooms. The Westin is right in the middle of all the newer shops and restaurants. The location is perfect! Upon checking in we were greeted by Cheryl Graham. Cheryl went out her way to fix our reservation and make sure we stayed in the same room the whole time. She also went out of her way to point out all the things in the area that were fun to do and explain what was included in the resort fee. Cheryl greeted us each day with a smile and she was so friendly and I feel like she genuinely cared about our happiness with our stay. Cheryl helped make our trip a truly wonderful and relaxing vacation. The room was very clean, the bed was comfortable and the all-around hotel was very clean and inviting. We were able to relax and enjoy our time there. Also, Travis the bartender was very funny and friendly. Great staff at this hotel all the way around. The facility is being upgraded but it did not bother us. We are happy to see hotels doing renovations and keeping up with their facility. It was great place and we definitely will be returning.

UUtente ospiteLa mia famiglia cercava di alloggiare la notte prima di prendere il traghetto a Cumberland Island. Questa EconoLodge ha guadagnato le sue note molto buone. L'esterno è ben mantenuto e fresco dipinto. Il personale del servizio - sia la sera che la mattina dopo - era particolarmente eccitato, utile e gentile - grazie da un viaggio stanco! La nostra stanza era pulita e in buona riparazione; le faucette e le strutture bagno non giravano, squagliavano, o gocciavano. Abbiamo dormito bene sui comodi letti di sabato sera. Nessuna disturbo da parte dei viaggiatori o del traffico stradale. La sala colazione era spazzata, e lo stile continentale - niente da ravvicinare, ma sufficiente. C'era una piscina all'esterno che non abbiamo controllato. Linea di fondo: un motel di catena di base che avrei certamente raccomandato. Grazie a tutti i loro commenti ci hanno aiutato a fare questa scelta.

This hotel we stayed at one night May 12, and breakfast was very limited for selection. several days later I checked my credit card and found a $30 charge. Upon calling the hotel, the desk clerk said it was for 2 missing hand towels. I asked to speak with the manager and was told that he had quit and when asked the reason it was said for people being charged for missing items, towels, etc. i was told to dispute this with my credit card, which i have promptly done. On Friday May 17, upon our return trip home I stopped at this hotel and asked to speak with manager. The two female employees said that there was no manager he had quit due to disputes over missing items. They also stated that 20 people had called to complain about being charged for missing towels or items from the room. The rooms are said to be cleaned by a husband-and-wife team who won't allow anyone else to help. Upon looking at the book, it was written several times where there were missing towels. The employees said the owner would not do anything to rectify this and we should file a dispute with our credit card company. Wyndam will be notified of this scam and travelers should avoid this hotel at all cost. Very poor was to run a business and treat people.
