H10 Cambrils Playa

An ideal hotel if you’re looking to get away from the crowds in a typically Spanish environment. Communication was a bit of an issue but you could get by with a little help. Great location directly between Cambrils and Salou and Public transport was really easy. Restaurant was really good same goes for pool side as were the beds were always easy to come by without getting up at daft o’clock. Can’t say we rated the activities team that much probably as there target age was a lot younger than our own. If your looking for a Chill out ideal for you 👍

Check in was ok arrived around 1pm and room was ready. Well we got to our room and was so disappointed with how small it was and the view was horrendous. We contacted reception to see if anything else was available but nothing apparently. Found the staff here rude in all areas. Got the feeling we were not wanted or respected at this hotel as there were many French and Spanish around who the staff had loads of time for this was shockingly disappointing. The food in restaurant was not good on several occasions we seen raw turkey fillets at lunch time this was a big turn off for us. We were half board and had chose to eat breakfast and lunch here. Breakfast had a poor selection also. The entertainers spoke mainly in Spanish which was frustrating. Overall I wouldn’t rate this a 4 star hotel and will definitely NOT return even though we love the Cambrills area. For the price you pay as a family of 4 it is not worth it at all.

What a fab fun 4 days we had at this wonderful hotel! From the start, the lovely ana was so helpful & friendly. The animation team with the crazy funny gorgeous Ali & the team, Oscar, javi & judit. Made the stay even better. Fun & games, but not pushy. Room was fabulous with huge balcony, the food was exceptional & staff again very lovely, changed the menu daily, with lots of choice. The hotel has a very lovely atmosphere with good vibes. Thank you all for a wonderful time with you. Love Darlingggsss!! X🥰

Lovely hotel,clean and tidy rooms.Food was plentiful and varied,plenty of choice for everyone. Could do with having the evening meal a little earlier ,6pm would better.Kids entertainment excellent for the kids,but would be better if it stopped at 8pm rather than later. Bus stop outside the hotel which was regular . No problem getting a sunbed as not allowed to reserve for more that an hour with your towel,which was great. Would go back again

Don’t bother going to this hotel if you’re English or enjoying fun around the pool. You can’t move your lounger more than an inch or the pool police will be there to tell you off, you have to get up at 7:30-8 to get a lounger but don’t leave and go for lunch for more than an hour or your towels will be removed( unless your Spanish then you can go to the beach for 5 hours no problem) you have to stand in a certain place to jump in the pool if you stand on the green bit not the white again the pool police will be straight there to tell you off, you can’t use the big island in the middle of the pool, some of the teenagers were using it to sunbathe but nope that’s not ok either, absolutely no inflatables allowed in the pool this includes for babies and toddlers except for the 2 hours of organised fun once a week when dozens and dozens of inflatables and balls of all shapes and sizes are fine to be in the pool no balls or games etc are allowed at any other time because of health and safety we were told. The bar waiters are so rude and make it blatantly obvious they are ignoring you and serve the Spanish around you laughing and chatting to them while leaving you sat being ignored. The entertainment team the girl with the tattoo on the inside of her bicep and the bloke were great very upbeat and engaging and after 5 days at least they actually realised 2/3 of the guests were actually English and started speaking English throughout the day activities but the mini disco is entirely in Spanish so English kids don’t bother taking part because all the songs and talking in in Spanish so they don’t feel like they can participate. I never bother with reviews usually but this hotel is so ridiculous with its rules and rude staff I felt I needed to as all previous reviews were glowing and it is very far from it. It should be an adult only hotel where people just want to sit and sunbathe ( but not move the lounger to follow the sun more than an inch god forbid) The hotel is lovely and clean and the food in an evening was delicious freezing cold in a morning though. There also isn’t very much around the hotel moly malones is around 15 minutes up the road good food and prices or you can get the bus into Salou 20 minutes or Cambrils 10 ish minutes in the other direction.

I enjoyed my stay here. The hotel is located between Cambrils Port and Salou. It is very convenient for bus travel, plus it's a 2 min walk to the promenade and beach. All the staff are friendly & helpful. My room was nice and clean, with fresh towels supplied when you needed them. The bed was very comfortable and their was adequate wardrobe space. Plenty choice for meals at breakfast and in the evening too. The reason why I haven't given it 5 stars is:- the location of the room. I was two rooms away from a lift, which rumbled day/night...it was quite irritating. Secondly....my balcony overlooked the stage outside, where a lot of loud music played during the day. I enjoy music a lot, but it just felt way too noisy. And finally, theirs a lot of sunbeds, but by about 10.30am, there was not one free. People put towels out in some instances & the beds were left unoccupied for hours! I would stay again, however not in a room near a lift.
