Buenas instalaciones,fantástica cena y desayuno (menos el café que era malo) Pedí cama doble y en ambas habitaciones nos dieron 2 individuales…. Limpieza mal,me encontré una cucaracha en la habitación y a las 10 am abrió la puerta la limpiadora dando un golpe en ambas habitaciones sin dar tiempo de avisar que estábamos dentro. This hotel deserves to be upgraded to a five star! I have never been to a hotel where the buffet food is so good. The variety is amazing and you are offered the best quality cooked menu. Apart from this the snack bars are fabulous! My daughter and I used to go have breakfast, I would generally have fruit, a yoghurt and perhaps some cheeses. Jo would have the cooked breakfast which included a variety of sausage, cooked tomato, beans, fried, scrambled or omelette for eggs. Around one we’d walk to the beach cafe which again offered a variety of well cooked foods. I loved the seasoned half chicken with some salad where as jo would have the homemade burgers and chips. One day I had salmon and an avocado salad. It was delicious. There are a few beautiful beach areas to to enjoy. They were just putting up the umbrellas when we were there so this is going to look lovely once the season opens. A variety of waterspouts available at a cost next to the beach bar. The bedrooms are spotless spacious and modern. The shower cubicles are huge and there is both a rain shower and a hand held shower. Entertainment was good, a variety of different acts. Staff were top notch we loved them all and there are countless members of staff to name ! All incredibly hard working and would bend over backwards to help you. The grounds if the hotels were breathtaking with olive trees and wisteria arches to name a few. We were out of season but I can only imagine how beautiful these would be in bloom. Pool areas again a variety with free Bali beds!! Yes free Bali beds if you wanted one and are lucky enough to get one. The indoor pool is lovely but you need to wear a swimming cap. €3 available at the reception. Great gym and also different classes eg spinning if you’re that way inclined Everything spotless and they cleverly cordon off the areas so there’s no reserving beds at 7 o clock Situated on the far end of cambrils you can take a leisurely stroll into this beautiful town. It’s about a half hour gentle walk. But not taxing and all in the flat. You can get a bus into salou if you fancy a change of scenery and the bus stop is located at the furthest end of the harbour. It’s €2.50 for a bus ride or you can buy a pass for €10.50 from the Bus Plana shop across the road from the bus stop. Added little extras are things like just tapping your room key at the dinner hall , none of this looking for your name on a register. Obviously the way try cordon off the pool do there’s no reserving beds which is my pet hate as it leads to annoyance! Ok there are one or two things that could be better. Firstly there should be welcome trays of drinks on arrival. When you’ve been travelling you are usually so thirsty and thus would add to your welcome. Secondly saddly the shower, shampoo dispenser in the bathroom hardly allow you to get any product out. They would be much better with the upside down squeeze out bottles or addressing the ones they have as they were a waste of time. Thir

We traveled as a famliy of four recently to the Estival El Dorado. Checked in on the 29/6/25 for 9 nights. We had an amazing experience at this resort. The rooms where well finished and clean. The air con was great in the rooms also. We stayed in family interconnecting rooms in block 2, these where great and really a must when traveling with teenagers. The pool areas are beautiful. We spent most of our time at the splash pool, loads of shady spots there below the trees. The buffet restaurant was great loads of choice, with different theme nights also. The overall grounds of the resort are immaculate. It is about a 25min walk into Cambrils along the prom, it is a beautiful walk in, we did this a couple of nights. The taxis to Salou and the Portaventura will run you about 35-40 euros each way. I would advise pre booking your taxi the day before if traveling to these places as they can be busy and sometimes it can take a while to get one. The resort at night is busy at the main bar area with nightly entertainment. We found all the staff to be helpfull and pleasent apart from maybe 1 memebr of the bar staff who just looked as if he hated his job with every fiber of his being. Overall we as a family loved this place so much we have already booked to return in July next year.

Visited with my husband and two young children. First impressions were good, we were significantly delayed and arrived late a night. The reception staff gave us food and helped us to our room. Room was spotless and cleaned everyday. We had a junior suite which was spacious for 4 people. Some parts of the room need some TLC but it didn’t impact us at all. Food was OK. The main restaurant had plenty of variety, however we personally found the food choices were the same every night. We never noticed any themed nights which was a shame. The food was also poorly labelled, we found this hard to navigate with my daughter’s food allergy. Snack Bar over by the Splash Pool/Park was good. As you’d expect, a small selection of fast food and fresh food. Entertainment was good and there was a mini disco for the children every night too. Cambrils is a minimum 20/25 minute walk away and there is nothing else around so bare that in mind if you’re looking for a bit of atmosphere. This isn’t a negative but one thing we found this hotel caters for a lot of Spanish families. The main restaurant doesn’t open until 7.30 and entertainment doesn’t start until 10pm. We were OK with this despite having a baby and 4yo but definitely something to be aware of if you’re thinking of coming here with little ones who eat early! Negatives: We did find that some staff were not very friendly and quite hostile at times - service with a smile and some manners really cost nothing. The “walkway” (if you can call it that) between the Main Pool and the splash park is absolutely atrocious and needs fixing ASAP! On our first day, we thought we’d walked out onto the street but it was the connecting walkway to the Splash Pool/Park. The steps to walk across this area are incredibly dangerous and there is no pram/wheelchair access which we found incredible difficult having a buggie!! This area needs updating ASAP as it’s an accident waiting to happen! We ended up walking from the main hotel via the beach front but you shouldn’t need to do this if the walkway was safe enough. As a whole, we had a good holiday and I think with some improvements this hotel has a lot of potential but honestly, there are better places to visit. Jet2 should not advertise this as a “luxe collection hotel.

I was concerned after reading the reviews that we were going to have an awful time but in honesty I cannot fault this hotel. The food was amazing with so much choice, we didn't have a issue with cold food that people have commented on and we found the children's buffet had enough choice, fresh fish, salads, pasta and the usual chips, pizza and nuggets. It can get very busy but we went as soon as the restuarant opened and it wasn't too bad at those times. The room was spacious and cleaned daily. The hotel grounds are spotless and gardens are also pruned daily. The staff are fabulous, friendly and up for a laugh. A special shout out to Lina and Agus who my 2 year old adored. They always made a special fuss of her. We arrived home Monday and she keeps saying how much she misses them. The kids disco with the entertainment team at 6.30 isn't to be missed, my daughter loved dancing and seeing Estivi (their mascot) this was the highlight of her night. They also do facepainting and balloon modelling after the disco on some nights. The pools open from 10am and there was never a problem finding a sunbed. I cannot comment on the kids club as my daughter is too young but they did have lots of activities advertised on the board. All in all we had the best time and will be returning.

Never been to such an unwelcoming hostile hotel as this in 30 years of travel. Don’t waste your money as they generally do not like Brits here. How Jet 2 are selling this place as a luxe hotel and all inc plus is baffling. What is all inc plus here 1 restaurant free for all , 1 a la carte visit no biggie if you miss it , snack bar in the kids splash pool actually alright, few branded drinks and mini cornetto and mini twister. Chargeable beach restaurant and pool snack bar. Poor room, beds hard as rock, paper thin walls you will hear everything, rubbish air con… no information given apart from a little card, how hard would it be to type up information and give it out on arrival. Most staff miserable apart from a couple Ariana in sports bar and Javier an exception maybe use these to train the other staff in basic customer service.( eg like smiling) they are an asset to you. Felt really uncomfortable one morning after asking for coffee and shouted at 10am only to sit around and see others being served with it without paying for it. Ladies at this bar seemed very unhappy and rude. Basic decency costs nothing. Lady in the spa area scary and not welcoming at all. Cambrils is a good 30 minute walk quite a run down area I’m sure it was nice in the day but seems shabby and signs of sewerage in one of the rivers.( not hotels fault but still not nice) Food is generally good but not labelled, free for all in a canteen setting … worst thing I saw was a young child being sick with a very young waitress cleaning it the whole section should have been corded off and deep cleaned but instead family’s continued to sit around eating there lunch. Don’t want to be totally negative so a few positives sports bar staff and service, thank you Ariana for your kindness every evening. Food in general, No sunbed wars, cleaners and gardeners. If you have ever been to a luxe hotel you will realise this is definitely not in that bracket at best a 3 star. Cannot understand how some people return here as in some previous reviews, I can only assume you have nothing to compare it with.
