Travelodge Cambridge Swavesey

Ideal location when on the road and dogs are allowed so perfect for me. Unfortunately the hotel needs a bit of maintenance which really lets it down. My room and pillows smelt like hairspray had to use the spare pillows in the room. The heater couldn't be set to a lower temperature it gotbso hot I had to switch off. The location is just off the A14 so I expected some noise unfortunately the seals on the windows are perished so the noise wasn't blocked out even when closed, I was exhausted so slept well for a few hours until the A14 got busy. The ceiling above the door seemed to have a historic damp patch probably just needs a lick of paint. The hotel is clean and tidy, the staff are friendly, and has plenty of free parking. Based on the amount of sleep I got I'm not sure I'd stay again unless some maintenance had been carried out. Which is a shame because it's in an ideal location for me as I travel between Newcastle and London most weeks.

Really disappointed after staying here many times and living close by a long time. Paid for Wi-Fi yet says credentials invalid and front desk day to contact Customer Services - Sunday night so that's not happening. Family room tiny, intermittent loud drilling sounds I’m guessing when someone flushed the loo in another room, drip stains on the walls and insects in bathroom. Boy racers in the car park and surrounding road all evening make me question the safety of my car and ourselves. Really gone downhill.

A very tired building which we believe is scheduled for renovation. Good location for business and one night stopovers. Not particularly family friendly but this is probably not its purpose. Staff were faultless friendly and welcoming, very service orientated.

Clean and well run Travel lodge with a handy diner adjacent. Diner has gluten free food. Staff were pleasant and room was nice and big. bathroom and room were clean. Not too noisy although some traffic noise. Handy for Madingly Park and Ride.

The room was cozy and helped us recharge for the next day. All in all its a Wonderful place to be. Excellent service!!! I would recommend this place snd would like to come here again. This place is close to cambridge and definitely not as expensive as some of the other places there!

We have stayed at this Travelodge several times and staff have always been friendly. It is located just off the A14 and you can easily drive to the park and ride near the American Cemetery. The parking is free and it only costs £3.50 return fare into Cambridge centre. Our room was clean, warm and comfortable. Great value for the location.

We had two wonderful days away at the place that was so close to we wanted to be And it was very good value we were able to see family and friends that we might not see till the summer we will recommend it

I have just been to 2 other travelodges near Cambridge and Swavesey Travelodge is the best by far.The rooms are clean and i get very little outside noise.It is very good location north of Cambridge and i booked it on a regular basis,it is also a good location for my new workplace contract outside Cambridge.The staff offer excellent customer service.

It was clean enough but the toilet was wobbly, towels insufficient, no soap in the sink dispenser, sheet barely fitted the bed, horrid cheap curtains, no top up for tea/coffee, no clean towels, no bin emptying (did put up the 'top me up' sign by specified time).
