Premier Inn Camberley

terrible beds, not enough towels for a pre booked family room, not clean, damp and smelly. Definitely won't stay in another Premier Inn, nothing premier about the place, just as well stay in a travelodge next time, at least they aren't trying to be something they aren't

The Staff were all very Helpful & Friendly , Especially a Lady Called Shreeja, She Made sure everything was OK with our order. The Food & Bottle of Wine was Very Good. The Room was Clean & Tidy & the Bed Comfortable . Overlooking RMA Entrance. Parking is a bit of an issue but will Definitely Stay again.

I remain a huge fan of the PI brand, for the most part it does what it says on the tin (in my personal experience) and the newer and newly refurbished properties really are a major stepforward IMHO. However, the Camberley Inn has definitely seen better days, and the additional cost of car parking now makes this one a no-go for me. Rooms are OK but very tired, service is mediocre - cannot comment on food as did not eat here. I sincerely hope this one is due a revamp and that Whitbread can do a deal with the local Car Parks to offer a discount.

Stayed here after my reservation at a flat Sleeps Away, on Bagshot High Street (booked and paid for 4 months ago!) was cancelled last minute. Thank goodness for the Travel Lodge! Great hotel friendly staff , easy and very quick check in and very good value!

Was here for business, the young girl at check in was more intrested in playing with phone and arranging a night out with her manager than checking me in. Thought I'd have early night so decided to have food in reception. The table was sticky, so I asked to move, the manager on duty tutted and rolled her eyes. Then sent the young girl to take my order. After a long wait she came back to say they didn't have my order in stock. I gave up and went to five guys. Got up early the next day and went for breakfast. What a diffrence the waiter was informative and helpful. I asked if I could have a recipt for my stay when leaving and the manager on shift was happy to help no waiting. I told her about the night before and she apologised. If all the staff was like morning staff I would have left all 5 score but evening staff need retraining. Can't remember the lady in mornings name but I'm sure it started with M Maureen or Moner I think.

I have approached Premier Inn regarding this hotel but received no feedback, thus writing this review. There is no car-park for the hotel, so you have to use the multi-storey in the middle of Camberley. An extra £9 to £12 pounds to add to your stay...but your vehicle is safe. I have stayed in this hotel numerous times over the past 5 years and, I am afraid, it is getting worse. Be careful of the lobby area where you catch the lifts....it can get quite slippery if its wet outside. The automatic check-in machine just never works. Most of the corridors smell....not very nice when walking to your room. If you actually get a room where the heating works correctly you are lucky. The rooms are quite dirty, walls marked badly (I have stayed in numerous on all floors). The carpets are frayed and dirty. I actually do not walk around any of the rooms bare-footed!! The shower curtains are filthy....not nice when they stick to your legs when taking a shower. When I stayed 2 weeks ago there was hardly any hot water and there were black hairs in the bath that I cleaned away myself. The restaurant constantly seems to have run out of various items on the menu....but there are great restaurants in Camberley high-street. The staff are friendly.....but scruffy...shirts hanging out, old shoes or trainers.
