"The hotel is beautiful; however, I would not recommend and would not go back. FYI (decide for yourself): - Screaming children at the pool every day, all day. If you have screaming children, I assume this is a pro. For us, a con. - There are charges for many things which was unexpected given its a 5* hotel, for example 9 euros additional for eggs, 20+ euro for shuttle to town, 20+ euro for beach chairs. Cons: - Concierge!!: 1) 1 one month before arriving I asked the hotel to arrange a dinner reservation for us on our last night. They did. On the day of the reservation, the restaurant called the hotel to confirm, the hotel called us, and we said yes, we're going. The hotel did NOT call the restaurant back to confirm. So, we drove 20 min to the restaurant where they explained they did not have space for us. La Villa had several times (including night prior) made reservations for guests who did not honor them at this restaurant which is a small operation. After standing there awkwardly for 45 minutes calling the hotel and restaurant, the restaurant was kind enough to accommodate us at a make-shift table. 2) The day prior, we asked the hotel to arrange a reservation for us in the morning. They did not call us until 6pm (why did this take all day). When they called they said its not possible, there is no space. We walked right up to the restaurant and were seated immediately. 3) Another restaurant recommendation we got was not good (less bothered by this as its subjective). - Screaming children Pros/highlights: - lunch at hotel pool - cocktails - breakfast each morning - views, cleanliness - received a free room upgrade due to a cancellation - free parking and EV charging"

"We stayed there from August 27-29 and, with our two daughters, booked the Villa Mariani, the hotel’s largest and most expensive suite. This was an indulgence for us. I will refrain from commenting on matters that are out of the property’s control - the proximity to the airport or the fact that the nicest suite is bordered—closely—on two sides by working farm. These are some of the realities this property faces. But service—the benchmark of the Relais & Chateaux brand— is entirely within the control of the property and here is where La Signoria fell far short of the mark. Matters looked very promising at check-in: we were attended to by a young man named James, who showed us the property in great detail, explained the features of our room and hurriedly delivered our bags notwithstanding the 32C heat. The room was very good - clean and well appointed. The main trouble came at dinner that night. The food was truly not good—I won’t dwell on this fact, other than to it needs drastic improvement in that it aims for an haute cuisine interpretation of a generic French cuisine and it when it falls short—as it did with many of the dishes—it’s a long way to fall. Basic items like bread service—I recognized the assorted not very fresh selection from the morning buffet—are simply not executed with any care. But it was the service that was truly atrocious. Upon being seated we were asked if we’d like to have a cocktail or wine. We said yes to both and they returned, with three cocktail menus - there were four of us - and no wine menu. After 20 minutes I rose — no one had come to take our orders —to find a staff member (our server was no where to be found) to ask for a wine menu. I returned and waited another 5+ minutes for a list, and when it was finally presented, the server apologized saying “We don’t have enough to go around.” We ordered a bottle of white, after which the wine list was swiftly snatched. Once the bottle arrived, a server initially poured wine for the table. After that, we ended up pouring the bottle ourselves the entire evening. Once the bottle was finished, about halfway through our dinner, no one came by to either clear the bottle or offer the wine list again. And while the food was very disappointing, it paled in comparison to our dining companions—a pair of rats who spent most of the evening moving back and forth on the wall and vines immediately behind out table (I’d post the video-that I sent to R&C- that illustrates this but Tripadvisor doesn't support video files). Had there been any staff attending our table I would have alerted them to the situation, but as there wasn’t, I didn’t have the opportunity to. We left without dessert, disappointed but hoping it was an off night, something that happens to all restaurants on occasions. The following day I went to visit some neighbouring wineries for work and my eldest daughter stayed behind to relax. I returned to a text from her saying that she had ordered a ham and cheese panini 40 m"

"Ottima vacanza in questa struttura, siamo stati nelle case mobili Santa Giulia, tutte circondate dal verde, molto belle e riservate. La piscina con lo scivolo è stata fantastica per i nostri bambini. Il mare è vicino , 5 minuti a piedi, e con l'auto, a 15 - 20 minuti si raggiungono spiagge bellissime. Tutti servizi a portata di mano. Complimenti ai ragazzi del ristorante, tutti molto gentili e piatti ben cucinati , anche da asporto, linguine fantastiche. Grazie a tutto lo staff !"

"Struttura vicina al centro storico con 2 grandi qualità: la piscina e la colazione abbondante a 10 euro che sull'isola è difficile da trovare! Stanze belle e confortevoli, un po' minimal così come è strano che il water sia separato dal bagno come spesso accade in UK"

Camping la Pinède

"Grazioso camping situato mei pressi della spiaggia di Calvi. Tutte le casette sono ben ombreggiate disposte in modo da avere anche una certa privacy. Noi abbiamo alloggiato nella casetta "piana". Pulita, moderna, comoda per 4 persone, poco pratica la presenza di un solo bagno. Accessori cucina come da descrizione, alcuni sembravano nuovi. Manca un coltello grande per tagliare. Le pulizie non erano incluse quindi il giorno della partenza abbiamo dovuto provvedere noi. E' possibile comunque richiedere la pulizia finale con un importo di euro 90. Market fornito di beni di prima necessità, piuttosto caro (ma c'era da aspettarselo). Per quanto riguarda la ristorazione abbiamo preso solo pizza d'asporto, mangiabile ma costosa rispetto a quello che è. Tutto il personale del campeggio è estremamente gentile e disponibile. Mi sembra che ci sia una discreta animazione per i bambini e un adeguato spazio giochi. Non mi sembra di aver visto proposte del campeggio per gite ed escursioni ma semplicemente volantini di altri, ma potrei sbagliarmi. Propongono anche un'idea di intrattenimento serale, quasi esclusivamente musicale. Non c'è un teatro e non ci sono spettacoli......tutto avviene all'interno del ristorante quindi, più che altro, è un intrattenimento piacevole durante la cena. I servizio sono quindi migliorabili. Nota negativa: la poca luce che c'è all'interno, alla sera ci sono alcune zone del camping completamente al buio. Check in all'arrivo dalle ore 17 e check out entro le ore 10,00........non è il massimo Qualche informazione: SPIAGGIA: Non amando la spiaggia libera, per tutta la settimana, abbiamo optato per il lido Easy Beach (il primo sulla destra non appena accedete alla spiaggia dal camping). Ordinato, pulito, con una stupenda vista. Cucina buona e ottimo servizio. Anthoine, il responsabile, è un ragazzo veramente a modo. Ci siamo trovati benissimo. Costo singolo lettino 15 euro al giorno. Davanti al camping passa il trenino che con diverse fermate porta a l'Ile Rousse. TRENO TRINICHELLO: Trenino che dire vintage è poco. Sarebbe anche un'idea carina ma il treno sembra veramente vecchio e sporco e per 6 euro a tratta a persona abbiamo preferito prendere l'auto."
