Hotel in zona Red Walls, Calpe

Si quieres encontrar un buen hotel con mucha magia y con una decoración exquisita el hotel Sea and Dreams y alejarte del bullicio y alojarte en el casco antiguo este lugar ofrece todo lo que uno necesita. Limpieza, comodidad y un hotel con encanto. La playa está a 7 minutos andando y la subida es un poco costosa pero merece la pena. El trato es exquisito y te ayudan en lo que necesitas. Restaurantes alrededor. Parking a 1 minuto y gratis menos los sábados que hay mercado.

Just returned from 10 days in this hotel , party of 7 people in 3 rooms. The maids cleaned everyday, the breakfast is absolutely fine (I only made it once as I like to lie in) , the beds are comfortable , the rooms are clean , shower powerful. The staff are all excellent, helpful and friendly. The sea view is phenomenal from the sea facing rooms and rooftop pool. For a quiet, shaded swim there is also another deeper pool on floor one. We had the best time here and the location is unbeatable for bars, shops and restaurants. Don't pay any attention to the negative reviews , it must be people who like to find things to complain about.

We spent two weeks here in September. First a couple of minor niggles. There wasn't great storage in our room. It could have done with a couple more drawers for clothes and a drawer in the bedside cabinet would have been nice, storing books, phone glasses etc on a small bedside table was difficult. Second niggle is there is a scramble for sunbeds at the pool area but I appreciate that happens everywhere. We stayed in SolyMar about 10 years ago, and it has got better. Our room was excellent, it is worth paying extra for a sea view. Huge very comfortable bed, nice bathroom with an excellent shower, TV with BBC1/2 and ITV 1/2/3/4. Small fridge and good size balcony. Decor and furnishings very nice. All the usual things you would expect in a 4 star hotel are there. Facilities are excellent. There is a big supermarket in the building, accessed by lift from reception. The hotel has its own cafe with outside space which is very good. The 360 bar is nice but the Sports bar was shut. The pool is separate from the hotel, it can be accessed from the promenade,or via a tunnel two floors below reception. There is a very nice poll bar and in the evenings the staff remove most of the sunbeds at one end and put sofas, chairs and tables out to create a beach club. We were B&B. The breakfast was fantastic with everything you could possibly want. There are two restaurants, the downstairs one has an outside terrace, right on the promenade. Special mention to Angelica, the chef. The hotel also does some excellent ”extras”. We went on an electric bike ride around Calpe (free) there was gin tasting and Agua Valencia tasting (look it up it isn't water), also a catamaran trip for €10. In the evening there is music. It rained one day and we were able to borrow umbrellas from reception! The location of the hotel is a major plus point. It is sited on the promenade right in the centre of the ”real ” town. The touristy bit of Calpe is a ten minute walk away. There is a steep hill to the old town (10 minute walk) where there are nice restaurants. 5 minutes away, there is a part of town with lots of restaurants. The beach is right in front of the hotel. Staff were all lovely and very helpful.

We had a fantastic five-day stay at Port Europa Hotel. As a family of five, we booked two rooms. Each was a double room with a kitchenette and a sofa bed in one and two double beds in the other. The ocean view was gorgeous, and the beach was just a few minutes' walk away. We chose the all-inclusive option and were very satisfied. The buffet offered a nice variety of foods, and the staff was generally very friendly. A special mention goes to Marina from the entertainment team, who was a ray of sunshine. She was always smiling and made sure everyone received attention. Our son especially loved her because she included him in games, translated everything for him, and helped him feel welcome, even though he was a bit shy and didn’t understand Spanish. Thank you for making our stay extra special, Marina! Also, a shout out to Encarni from the bar for being so warm and welcoming and for her professionalism! Overall, it was a wonderful stay with a beautiful beach, spectacular views, and great accommodations. I recommend registering and going for a small hike up the mountain before the tunnel for even more breathtaking views. The hotel is about a 20-minute walk to the old city, with a grocery store nearby if you prefer to cook your own food. Mercadona, a more affordable grocery store, is near the old town and also within walking distance. Additionally, Salinas offers a flamingo pond, a small tourist market, and many nearby restaurants. I highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a relaxing vacation in Calpe!

Il mio soggiorno all'Hotel Cookbook in Calpe è stato sorprendente! Il personale era davvero amichevole e ci ha fatto sentire a casa. Il cibo era fantastico. Ci siamo trasferiti in una bella suite con terrazza e una vista stupenda sul mare. L'hotel ha una vibrazione fredda, miscela di stile moderno con fascino locale. Tutto era super pulito e confortevole. La terrazza era il nostro luogo preferito per rilassarsi e godere del bellissimo paesaggio. In generale, l'Hotel Cookbook è una scelta ideale se si desidera un servizio di top-notch, delizioso cibo, e una tranquilla terrazza con vista sul mare.

We always use this hotel and have done so for many years now. It's situation is ideal for both beaches which are easily accessible with mobility scooters, as is the old town. The staff are always very friendly and helpful, from reception to bar to restaurant. Nothing is too much trouble. The choice and variety of dishes in the restaurant is excellent. We are returning in September.

Mia sorella e io eravamo alloggiati in una camera singola per 3 giorni con un letto grande, perché è spontanea con. L'ho prenotato solo sul posto in hotel. Non c'era problema e la stanza era completamente sufficiente per noi. Molto pulito, utile e buon personale e il buffet per colazione è stato il pazzesco assoluto. Ci ritroveremo in ogni caso. La posizione è semplicemente un sogno 😍. Sono da piccolo a annuale a Calpe, ma per la prima volta in un hotel. Non abbiamo avuto niente da difettare. In ogni caso, continua a raccomandare 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

We stayed here for 10 days in September 2024 half board, 7 days of this was a dance holiday. This hotel is definitely not a 4 start, I would rate is as 3 star at best. The main negative is the food, which is very repetitive, with a choice of Pork, Chicken and fish in the evening, although on the odd occasion there was veal or a pasta station. The food was never warm enough, and a few times had not been cooked properly. We heard that a few people had food poisoning. There was however always a good salad selection. The deserts were the same every evening, but on some occasions there was a chocolate fountain. Breakfast were quite good, but again not warm enough unless you went to the omelette station. The hotel was kept very clean as were the large bedrooms. These had plenty of storage space and the beds were comfortable. The hotel is starting to show some signs of age, and in the area outside between the Piano Bar and the pools, there were several cracked or broken tiles. Apparently the hotel is due to be refurbished this winter. The Wi-Fi is reliable and fast in the reception area, the bars and the restaurant, but is patchy and slow in the rest of the hotel and the pools area.

Just returned from a lovely 7 day holiday at the AR Roco Esmeralda Hotel Calpe. Staff were very kind and helpful, Food was mainly Spanish and very tasty. Lift service was first class and very modern. Ròoms a wee bit dated but spotless 10/10 to housekeeping. Hope to return soon as I am learning the Spanish lingo. Adios for now.
