We finally had the opportunity to meet a few wonderful hosts in person: Mariana, Ines and Jackson! They were most gracious, efficient, and definitely guest-focused! However (isn’t there always an “however”?) an issue occurred regarding a malfunction television set. This was reported on Sunday. 2 April; the engineer came to our room and confirmed the existence of the problem. He indicated he could not replace the television until Monday. We were not compensated for the missed night with a few round-about-reasons as to why not, e.g., 1) the rooms are individually owned and the owner had to be contacted to authorize the purchase of a new television which could not be done until Monday; 2) had we reported the issue earlier, a replacement television might have been available; 3) it was neither the fault nor the responsibility of the Rumba staff that the television failed; 4) the front desk did not have the authority to offer compensation. These “reasons” are interesting but did not address the root issue, namely we were denied benefit of the full amenities expected for the duration of our stay. Now, to a much larger issue and significantly more important: On Monday morning, 3 April, DESPITE OUR HAVING THE “DO NOT DISTURB” SIGN INDICATED ON OUR DOOR, THE ENGINEER DISREGARDED IT AND KNOCKED LOUDLY SEVERAL TIMES! When I opened the door he indicated he was there to install the new television. When I firmly pointed to the “do not disturb” sign that he did not respect, he repeated that he was there to install the new television. Needless to say, my wife and I were both very upset as we were still in our dressing gowns and were leisurely enjoying a cup of coffee on our balcony. This instance certainly ruined our stay!! The front desk staff did not even apologize for the intrusion. When checking out on Tuesday, 4 April, when I mentioned the violation of one of the most sacred policies of any hotelier (i.e., honour and respect the “Do Not Disturb” sign of the guest, then, and only then, were we told they were sorry but that the engineer was only doing his job☹ As a follow-up, I sent an email to the General Manager and he replied that the ”Do Not Disturb” sign was for housekeeping only -- so, beware that if you want an afternoon nap or merely want to be left alone, the ”Do Not Disturb” sign will NOT prevent an unwanted intrusion!

Cerchiamo pace e tranquillità, così questo era perfetto. Non vicino alla spiaggia, ma lo sapevamo e non ci importava. Poi, in un'area pulita, verde e moderna, mi piaceva praticare, camminare sulle vie d'acqua ben mantenute. L'appartamento in una camera da letto era ovviamente progettato per lunghi soggiorni. Molto ben attrezzato. La camera da letto può essere separata da una porta di vetro congelata a 3 pannelli. Non è una prova di luce o di suono. Sono troppi articoli nei pannelli da elencare, per favore vedi le mie foto. La cucina era più che adeguata. Grande TV e comodo soggiorno. Anche un lavandino. Molto spazio e spazio di magazzinaggio ovunque. Wifi e acqua calda 10 su 10. Un paio di posti di pranzo bello intorno all'angolo. Il centro commerciale di dimensioni decente sul ponte del canale. Check-in è stato un po' disgustoso per *me* lol ...Questo pulsante lo fa, quindi lo fa nell'ascensore. Va bene. La ricezione è un piccolo edificio separato e le loro ore fisiche sono limitate, a differenza di un hotel normale. Un onere di carta di credito inaspettato (ho prenotato con Agoda) è stato infine rimborsato, e si prega di sapere che un obbligazione di garanzia ($150) sulla carta di debito/credito è tenuto in limbo per fino a 10 giorni dopo il check-out.

Sconvolgendosi che all'arrivo ci fosse stato dato un pezzo di carta (che non abbiamo letto fino al giorno 2), consigliando che la stanza non fosse servita quotidianamente (a quel tempo avevo messo le tovaglie sul pavimento da cambiare) Solo se rimasi per più di una settimana, la tua stanza sarebbe servita dopo il 3 o il 4° giorno, puoi chiedere asciugamani puliti ma a pagamento. Inoltre, devi rimuovere la gomma e mettere in bagaglio la chiusura al momento della partenza, altrimenti la carta di credito sarebbe a pagamento. Non ho mai avuto questa esperienza in nessun hotel/motel, anche 2-3 stelle, ristorazione ovunque altro nel mondo. Abbiamo soggiornato 4 giorni, il giorno 3 mio marito ha chiesto di avere più carta da bagno e di asciugamani puliti, marito ha chiesto perché la nostra stanza non era stata servita, ci è stato detto, era un appartamento studio, la ricezione era piuttosto sconcertante, ma ha accettato la richiesta, Anche se non ha sostituito neppure, doveva andare a chiedere un secondo, diceva che non dovevamo pagare per le tovaglie pulite.

Situato nel centro della città, sulla spiaggia, nel centro della città, vista del deserto e delle montagne! Come unico! Facile camminare a ristoranti di sera e shopping durante il giorno. Il personale era molto bello e ospitato il nostro camper per parcheggio, perché era troppo alto per andare in parcheggio sotterraneo, molto comodo camera, letto re, camera da letto separata e lavanderia.

We arrived before reception closed (as advertised) but unfortunately had closed early due to Covid. Have the on-site manager a call who directed us to a key safe where we got our key and all of the information we need. Our room was modern, lovely, quiet and overlooked the lake. Was very relaxing watching the container ships in the distance out to sea & the stingrays, fish & swans that make the lake their home. It was clean, tidy and well equipped. Bed was comfortable. Signs were placed in 2nd bathroom and 2nd bedroom due to Covid. We didn’t need to use them. Unfortunately we couldn’t get the wifi to work, but this didn’t bother us. We were able to catch an Uber easily to/from Sunshine Coast stadium to watch the football (or an easy 45 min walk according to google). Sunshine Coast hospital was across the road. Cafes within walking distance, Shopping centre close by, as well as restaurants and eateries. Night quarter precinct next door to shopping centre, but we didn’t go. Short drive to the beach. Will stay here again if staying on the Sunshine Coast
