My wife and I are happy to recommend Riverside House. We were made to feel very welcome and the hosts went out of their way to make the stay comfortable. The room was top quality and had a lovely view of the river and the garden. We would very happily stay there again.

From the absolutely stunning view of the river Leny at the bottom of the garden, to the comfort of our room, I can’t recommend this place more. Comfy bed, amazing shower, perfect breakfast and friendly hosts who can’t do enough for you. Sitting in the sunshine beside the summerhouse in March is a bonus for us in Scotland. Stunning.

Lovely large room, sparkling clean, friendly helpful hosts, delicious fresh cooked breakfast to order, small establishment so personal service and “homey” experience but with our privacy. Modern bathroom and shower. Lovely view out window! Quiet spot, we had a great nights sleep! Thank you Brian and Valerie, it was wonderful to stay as guests at your house!

We had the pleasure of staying here for an overnight. We don’t usually like B&B’s but this is very much an exception. The owners, Brian and Val, are absolutely lovely, friendly and accommodating, and made us feel so very welcome. Breakfast was delicious, with fresh homemade pancakes 😋. We also had homemade shortbread in our room along with water, tea, coffee and hot chocolate. There was free wifi and ample parking. Our room was lovely, clean and spacious, with the added bonus of a balcony which is great for reading or enjoying the gorgeous, peaceful river view with a chilled glass of wine (there’s a min fridge in the room). The house is a short walk from the town centre which has some nice shops and cafes. We have stayed in Callander a few times over the years in various hotels, but this B&B really is a hidden gem and is definitely worth a visit. We would love to have stayed longer and will definitely return.

Great room, great hosts, great breakfast, great beaver. We had a lovely few days using Riverside House as a base to explore the Trossachs. Based on the outskirts of Callander it’s a short walk to the shops and restaurants. Room had everything we needed and was well serviced. Loved watching the birds over breakfast and even spotted the local beaver.

Excellent stay, our room was exceptional, clean and home made biscuits provided. The bed was really comfortable and we had a great night's sleep. Our hosts were great, friendly and approachable and the breakfast was great too.

Beautiful house with lovely views over the river and beyond. We received a very warm welcome from our hosts. The room was very clean with a very comfortable bed, and fantastic shower. The breakfasts were delicious with plenty of choice. I would highly recommend Riverside House and would definitely book again.

An absolutely wonderful stay and the owners are a lovely couple who couldn't do more for you. Daily freshly baked shortbread and other sweet treats. Breakfasts with pick and choose on every item. Stunning views of local birds, the river, and fields beyond.
