Hotel in zona Marquetería Casa Cristal, Cali

My friends and I stayed at the Faranda Cali on a friends trip to Colombia. The Faranda is located in the historical center of Cali, close to the boulevard and other historical sites, like Iglesia Ermita. Check in was relatively smooth and the hotel is relatively modern, given its surroundings. The area around the hotel is not the best, but they don't reflect the inside of the hotel. The general vibe of the hotel is Art Deco. I don't know what that has to do with Cali, Colombia, but that's what the Faranda was giving. There's one small elevator for the hotel, so if you don't mind stairs, I would advise using them at least to walk down. There's also a bar on the top floor that gets very loud when there's an event. So again, if this is a problem, request a room on the lower floor. I also wouldn't count getting any kind of workout in their ”fitness room” which is a tiny room with ancient equipment and no ventilation. The bar staff also randomly come and go, so if you go to get a drink at 8:00 p.m. there may or may not be a bar tender at the bar in the lobby which is the first thing you see when you walk into the place. On the positive side, the room rate seemed to be excessively reasonable. Breakfast was pretty okay and security is very tight at night, so you can feel pretty good about staying there. It was good to try but I think I'll pay a little bit more and stay somewhere with nicer amenities next time.

El hotel Stein Colonial fue la mejor selección que podríamos haber hecho como el hotel base de nuestra boda, por muchas razones. Diría que la principal razón es la ubicación, pues su cercanía al Gato, al Boulevard de Jairo Varela, al museo la Tertulia, entre mucho mas, hicieron que nuestros invitados pudieran conocer lo mejor de Cali a una distancia caminable. Además, cerca del lugar se encuentra un centro comercial con muchos servicios ideales para la boda, tales como peluquerías, supermercado y barberías; y también a la zona de Granada, en donde se encuentran restaurantes deliciosos. Sin embargo, lo mejor fue el servicio personalizado y como en casa que nos brindaron. Otro punto por el que escogimos este hotel fue la piscina, pues algunos familiares venían con niños y esto facilitó que hubiera una fuente adicional de entretenimiento, lo cual curiosamente fue difícil de encontrar en esta misma zona. Como recomendación para futuros turistas, el lugar tiene muchas escaleras y no tiene ascensor, por lo que, si esto es una dificultad, es importante confirmar desde el principio una habitación en el primer piso. Otro punto para comentar es que algunas habitaciones no tenían AC y tal vez el punto a mejorar es la disponibilidad de lobby las 24 horas. Por lo demás, fue la elección mas acertada que hicimos para nuestra boda, gracias al equipo Stein por toda su dedicación y servicio.

Il personale è amichevole e gentile, le camere sono belle e moderne, la zona di lobby del tetto è super fredda, la posizione lungo il fiume è molto bella e completamente sicura. Il colazione è bello e le offerte per pranzo alla sera/sera sono buone. Sono disponibili anche altri servizi come lavanderia e buoni taxi,

20/10 It was amazing from Check in to Check out, the room was beautiful, you could feel the quiet and heritage in the property, and the best bathroom amenities in Colombia, the food was just stunning, I wish I could leave a review in every place I visit, but this one really deserves, you can have all you can eat but you can order from the menu that's great, I hope I can come back soon.

Il ricevimento è molto cordiale. La camera è estremamente grande, ma la cosa che si nota immediatamente sono i tanti spazi non sfruttati a partire dall'angolo cottura dove potrebbe tranquillamente prendere posto un tavolo per mangiare. Il letto è piuttosto spazioso e c'è una buona scelta di cuscini. C'è la cassaforte e l'asse da stiro. La ricezione della wifi è buona. quando si arriva ci sono due bottigliette di acqua di benvenuto posizionate in bagno (perchè in bagno???) che non vengono più ripristinate, manca un bollitore e l'unica cialda di caffè di cortesia che si potrebbe utilizzare è a pagamento (mai visto una cosa del genere in tutti i miei viaggi). Lo spazio contenitivo è buono ma è dispersivo con le cassettiere lontano dall'armadio. Nel kit di cortesia del bagno c'è una saponetta al posto del docciaschiuma (abbastanza anacronistico). Al posto della tipica vasca all'americana, si potrebbe mettere una doccia sicuramente molto più accessibile. La palestra non è tanto grande ma ha la comodità di essere aperta 24h. C'è una bella vasca Jacuzzi e una piccola piscina all'aperto all'ultimo piano. La colazione ha veramente poca scelta di piatti, sia caldi sia freddi. Il room service, invece, molto puntuale, ha una buona scelta di piatti. La stessa scelta, più o meno, si trova anche al ristorante della hall, dove però, il servizio, è veramente tanto lento. Tornando alla camera, si può dire che non è molto insonorizzata dai rumori della strada ma non lo è per nulla quando è comunicante con un'altra stanza, stanza da cui i rumori, più o meno forti, a qualsiasi ora della notte, sono perfettamente udibili e fastidiosi. Mi chiedo come sia possibile assegnare camere separate solo da una porta di legno a perfetti sconosciuti. Ho passato una notte terribile svegliato alle tre del mattino dalle effusioni molto poco discrete della camera a fianco. Il giorno dopo, spiegando l'accaduto alla reception, mi è stata assegnata una nuova camera (di livello più alto della precedente) ma ho chiaramente avuto la scomodità di rifare e disfare le valigie.

This hotel is located on a VERY busy street; luckily, they have a private garage. The rooms are super small for a party of two. So small that they improvised a closet with two pieces of wood in the corner of the room. The beds are SUPER uncomfortable. You literally feel like you are sleeping on the floor. Our first night, we contacted the front desk at 2 a.m. to complain about the beds and to request another room, and they confirmed that all beds are the same and that they have received plenty of complaints about the same thing. The buffet breakfast was a joke. Cold food, no flavor, and not enough variety—I will not recommend this hotel and will definitely not stay there again!

La stanza è buona, è che c'è un po'di gioia nella notte.Ma c'è un centro commerciale sotto.Molto cibo.Negozi, negozi, non lontano ci sono supermercati.Non c'è acqua potabile nella stanza.

Ci sono due Hilton in Carrie City, dovete chiarire, l'indirizzo di soggiorno, le due famiglie sono molto lontane!La colazione è autoassistenza, anche, frutta, riso, pane, zuppa!
