On the plus side, my room was a great value. Large, clean, and well-equipped, with a comfy bed. But the hotel has issues.... It is quite large, stretching over two blocks, and you might be in the atrium section or the main hotel. They each have separate entries. I was in the atrium section, which is an unusual experience. Kind of like staying in the middle of a convention center, with a pool that smells of chorine. When I returned to the hotel the main door to the atrium was locked - with a sign that said "door is broken" and directing to the main entrance a block away. Walking to the main entrance I was confronted by several drunk people, one of whom exposed himself to me. When I walked into the main door I complained to the desk clerk about the fact the atrium door was locked (I suspect the door was not broken - they just did not want to staff the desk), and I suggested they should have security in the parking lot to avoid drunks harassing their guests. My suggestion was greeted with a blank stare from the desk clerk. I walked up three floors to the sky bride to make my way a block back to the room. This big hotel feels poorly managed, and it's a shame, as the rooms are a good value and has potential.

Want to give a big shout out to Nhed at the front desk. He helped guide us to everything we needed and made our stay perfectly enjoyable. The rooms are nice with a fridge, microwave and a well stocked coffee station. The bed is very comfortable with lovely bedding and pillows. And the restaurant served up some delicious food.

We stayed 3 nights in the atrium. Rooms are nice and spacious with a balcony overlooking the atrium. However it is very loud from the noise from the pool and dining area below. There were many sports teams staying at the hotel which added to the noise and kids running around. Not a quiet weekend. The breakfast in the cafe was excellent and the executive club room was very nice.

This hotel has been a great experience from checking in to being treated like family by the employees. With access to the Concierge Lounge for Elite members, the breakfast and evening snacks are delicious but the staff including: Leilani, Lena and Noreen will treat you like royalty! They genuinely care about their guests and I highly recommend staying here . If you have a family there are two pools where children can have a blast!

I've traveled the world. It's employees like Mr Brent Thompson and Sevinj that make the difference. I recommend everyone stays here. Room attendants are second to none in the world! If you want a fair deal they will certainly come through. It's an odd setup as they occupy two blocks. Maybe the best set up ever for kids. Dave Jones

Sizeable room with very comfortable beds, good breakfasts and friendly staff. There is a distinct lack of dining options in the area, and the hotel's 'Southland Yard' restaurant is more like a youth club selling burgers than a good place to eat. There is a L4 EV charger in the forecourt of the Canadian Tire gas station, right behind the hotel. It's one of the few in Calgary and if you have an EV, that makes this hotel a must

Hotel was at good location away from downtown close to major roads so very accessible from anywhere. Hotel has two building connected with a console bridge. Very interesting open concept lobby with pool and hot tub. At the lounge I had a pleasure of meeting Lina, she’s very kind and a bright human being. She made my stay feel special. Thank you

Don't book here if you want amenities. The hotel gym is from the 80's. Even worse off just walked down to use thebhottub at 8:40pm and the gates are locked. Front desknsays closes at 9pm. Only other pool does not have a hottub let alone it was not 9 pm. What hotel closes amenities this early. Sad I am booked here this month and next.
