Nice hotel though the rooms are a little tight. It was a little warmer than I like for sleeping and I was unable to open a window or cool the room down. Amenities are great and the included breakfast is awesome.

I had discovered the Inn while driving around old Currie Barracks earlier in the year. I am a 26-year veteran of the Canadian Armed Forces and am always curious about what is happening on the old bases. It looked like a unique idea and something we would enjoy. We are from north of Edmonton, and we were back in Calgary for a Christmas function, so we decided to stay here. It was a lovely experience; the staff was very professional and courteous. The rooms were very quaint. The food and alcohol selections were awesome. We will be back the next time we are in Calgary and will recommend it for any work-related events.

The October paired wine dinner was a great experience. Service as usual by Bobby and team was excellent, food by Lucas always inventive. Bobby brings a wealth of wine knowledge to these dinners. Tried a nice white wine from India, which was first for us. See you next year....

Great stay! Unique modern rooms and lovely dining area, food was excellent. Don, our waiter, was a great host for breakfast as well, we appreciate the extra food and help with the luggage! Rooms were fairly spacious just missing fridge/microwave and hotel didn’t have elevator so a bit tough on the elderly guests however staff was super helpful with luggage and helping out, we had a lovely stay!

I went there for a wedding and was disappointed with the poor service and lack of air conditioning. It was a very hot day and the air conditioning did not seem to be on or working properly. I actually fainted during the wedding reception from the heat. After going back to my room I tried to cool off but it was 25C despite 2 fans.I then went to reception to ask for a room change and my request was denied. Instead I was offered another fan on top of the 2 fans I already had. I told the employee that there were not enough outlets in the room for a third fan and I was told to speak to management in the morning. My partner had a stern talk with them after I tried to be nice and they moved us to another room. The other room was slightly cooler but there were no outlets to charge our devices. There are so many other hotels in the area to stay at instead of paying $250 to suffocate in this place. I will never return.

Sunday brunch was just ok. The good: the coffee, quiche, and ice cream. Disappointing: small selection, stale croissant with no butter or jam available, water pooling in the scrambled eggs, and (this one really surprised me) no fruit! I had to take the decorative berries off a few platters to get any fruit. Definitely not worth $35.

Brunch buffet March 23, 2024. Server Megan was great, she came by perfectly on time for the drinks. She explained the buffet very well. Buffet was great, tasty food and a large variety of items for main and dessert. Very relaxed atmosphere with the online reservation it was clear your reservation was for 1 1/2 hour which was plenty of time to eat and chat. We enjoyed the brunch very much and will be back.

Went for Sunday Brunch. Great service by Don once he noticed us. Good selection of food on service table. Great idea that hot food, included in price, (eggs & quesadilla) were not on the bar but came direct from the kitchen once ordered. Unfortunately eggs Benny were only luke warm and just a single. Able to order more though. Great price for seniors at $10 off of $35 Brunch price. Intrigued by dinner and bottle of wine offering for $95. Will return for sure. Disappointed that the "snake pit" had no mention of the PPCLI who used the Mess for decades.

I have never reviewed a hotel before, but I make frequent trips to Calgary and have seen the website and finally decided to try this unique boutique hotel. It is the best priced hotel in the southwest of Calgary. First off, the photos and website do not do it justice. The historical interest in nice but I just wanted a comfortable clean room. I got so much more. The room was very impressive in the design, decor and use of the space. Clean, modern and very comfy. Perfect for a couple or solo traveller. Also very quiet. The Pub restaurant and Flanders fine foods in the lobby were both excellent. Again, beautiful atmosphere in this place. This will be my regular stay when in Calgary.
