Ferrer Lime Isabel

Just returned from a weeks stay at Ferrer lime Isabel hotel. We arrived at 3.00 in the morning. Check in was pleasant and quick. The hotel provide a 24 hour snack and drinks area for All inclusive guests which was great as we were quite thirsty, When we went to our room we were really impressed. The rooms are huge, a nice sofa to relax on, a fridge and kettle for hot drinks. The beds were incredibly comfortable with lovely bed linen. We had a nice big balcony that we could see the mountains to the left and the sea at the front. Cala Bona Marina is a 15 minute walk, there are some lovely bars and restaurants all very reasonably priced. You can walk then down into Cala Millor, again some lovely bars and restaurants. We are out a few times but in all honesty we loved the food at the hotel. We love our salads, fish, chicken etc so we were more than happy. There is nothing negative really to say about this hotel apart from we didn’t find the entertainment team very friendly but we Just put it down to the fact we didn’t have children as ours are all grown up so we weren’t interacting with them as much as a family who did have children. However the outside entertainment was fabulous especially Freddie Mercury Thank you Hotel Isabel for a fabulous stay in Majorca

Just returned home after a 10 night stay. Lovely quiet location just 10 minute stroll in cala bona itself. Spotlessly clean, friendly helpful staff, good selection of food on all inclusive - only issue we experienced was with some of the meat being very fatty and not cut/sliced very well on the hot counter (big chunks) which spoilt it completely. Free safe which was great as we have always had to pay previously. Rooms cleaned and towels changed daily. Rooms were a fab size with a fridge and air conditioning.²

We stayed here for 5 nights and it isn’t what it advertised at all. There is no food served at the pool bar as stated on the website, the staff are rude both on reception, pool bar and in the restaurant. We stayed here half board as we were told you could buy food at the pool bar but this isn’t the case, there are no facilities in your room either to make any food, this includes hot and cold food. The food served in the restaurant is average with very little choice, the same things are often repeated every night. The hotel is also advertised as having a park with swings and a sun shade, this is also not the case. It has a single very steep slide, no sun shade and is incredibly run down. They also advertised a kids club and mini disco which never happened, therefore no entertainment for my little boy. All in all this has been a poor stay and I would not stay again.

Not been to Majorca for 26 years .Cala Bona was recommended .Looked at trip advisor saw this hotel had got reviews. Chose all inc as had been to Croatia half board in June and found spent a fortune on pop etc. Arrived late 4am due to flight delay but was checked in promptly and snacks was available if needed .The room was spacious plenty of storage. Beds comfy ,the blackout curtains meant we had a great sleep every night Only suggestion was maybe shower screen in bathroom instead of curtain maybe the bathrooms need updating. Katerine our cleaner was lovely and they must use spanish cleaning products as smell was amazing Food was really good .Eggs cooked fresh at breakfast, Meat and fish at lunch and dinner . Some days we just had sandwiches and biscuits as didn't want 2 big meals a day .Good idea to be able to help yourself to soft drinks and water by the pool as some all inc we have been to you've had to queue at the bar to get water and pop .All the staff was amazing very friendly and patience as you always get a moaner. Big shout out to Alex the animation man he was on his own and did great infact I thought it was good that the hotel put something on every night as some all inc hotels we have been to in Greece don't bother just have a Greek night once a week.I would definitely come here again it was a ideal location 10 mis to harbour. We always walked back using the back entrance gate near pool as it was better lit .Its good that the hotel put on a bus to Calla Millor we only used it once as we like walking ,but a lot of people staying when we did had mobility problems so was handy for them .A big plus no sunbed wars could get up at 9.30 still get a sunbed .We went out come back at 3pm still got a sun bed As for Cala Bona ,not much beach but lovely harbour area and walk into Cala Millor We walked up to the castle and the nature reserve stunning view. We did the Jet 2 trip to Soller and up the mountains it was a great day out.We also got the 412 bus outside the hotel back entrance and went to Son Servera a lovely typical Spanish village only 15 mins away they have a market there Friday but we went on a Thursday and it was lovely to stroll around sit on the square have tapas and drinks . Would definitely come back to this hotel and the area

We returned from our stay a week ago and are already looking to book again for next year. We arrived late at night after a 2 1/2 hours transfer. We managed to get something to eat as the evening meal finished at 9pm. We upgraded from half board to all inclusive the next day and couldn't fault it. The food was lovely and varied although did feel a bit repetitive at times, however everything was fresh and delicious. A couple of the dining staff could have smiled every now and then and there was one guy who kept coming round when there was 15 minutes left which was a bit annoying and he was very quick to take our plates. Having said that all the staff work extremely hard and long days to deliver good food and a clean environment. The rooms were spotless and very spacious (towels changed daily if left in the bath and beds made daily). We had an ant problem on arrival in one of the rooms but this was quickly resolved. Midges were a bit of a problem too but no fault of the hotel. The whole place was constantly kept clean and smelt lovely! They also have recycling points which is good. My son enjoyed playing ping pong and there is also pool available to play. The swimming pool is good and caters for all ages. There was a wasp catcher by the bar so hardly any wasps while sunbathing which was a bonus. The entertainment was really good and something for everyone. Cala bona harbour a 10-15 minute walk and there is a supermarket in the hotel across the road which you can use (handy for snacks, drinks etc). Can't wait to return to this lovely and welcoming hotel. Worth so much more than a 3 star.
