Globales Cala Bona

We have just spent a week at the Globales Cala Bona and have thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. All the staff are friendly,courteous and work hard to make your stay enjoyable. We chose the all inclusive package. Meals were served in the light & airy restaurant which offered a variety of food options to suit most palettes. The Suit Terrace we had been allocated was huge. It included a separate lounge area large terrace with a whirlpool,day bed & sun loungers. Dressing gowns & slippers plus the replenishment of the mini fridge with soft drinks & fresh fruit delivered every day was much appreciated too. There was entertainment provided in the lounge area on several nights and there is a indoor pool sauna & steam room downstairs. All in all the Hotel is a marvelous choice to enjoy all that the beautiful resort of Cala Bona has to offer

Having arrived on the 21st of April and with our departure on the 28th fast approaching, I can wholeheartedly echo the sentiments of the previous review. The Globales Cala Bona Suites continues to impress. Its location truly is a gem, with the inviting Cala Bona beach just a short stroll away – we've certainly made the most of it! Our suite is just as described: spacious, impeccably clean, and thoughtfully equipped for a comfortable stay. After a day of exploring or relaxing, returning to such a well-maintained space is a real treat. The pool area remains a tranquil haven, exactly as pictured, and has been ideal for unwinding in the warm Spanish sunshine. The staff continue to be a highlight of our experience. Their friendliness and willingness to assist with any request have truly enhanced our stay. It's clear they are dedicated to ensuring every guest has a wonderful time. We've also been very pleased with the variety and quality of the food on offer. There's always a tempting selection, catering to different tastes, and we've certainly enjoyed some delicious meals here. Our time at the Globales Cala Bona Suites has been absolutely fantastic, and we wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone seeking a relaxing and enjoyable holiday in Majorca. We're already looking forward to the possibility of returning in the future!

The globales always lives up to expectations, clean, tidy great staff friendly and helpful and the food and amenities good. Would like to thank all the staff for making our stay so good, it makes our holiday special. This hotel is in a good location for the harbour and cala millor also buses or taxis and surrounding bars and restaurants especially maria's bar so welcoming, thanks from all four of us.

Lovely hotel and friendly staff Food good and varied Rooms spacious but not maximised with storage. There is just one wardrobe which also houses a mini fridge and safe There are not even any bedside cabinets to store medication or personal items, which can be embarrassing when cleaning staff clean the room We had to store our suitcases in the other room due to lack of space. This is such a shame and our only criticism really

Location is ideal a 5 minute walk to seafront and bars and restaurants. Room we were allocated was huge. We were allocated as requested a high floor with pool view. Room was cleaned daily. Hotel was spotless in every area. Food was well presented but too much pork and not enough variety in meats .We enjoyed peace and quiet of pool area with no music. Entertainment in evenings was bang average and entertainment area was poor. No sunbed wars in morning but sunbeds were not comfortable as were seating in bar area.. Good value for money. Not for younger couples or children .Staff were excellent.

Firstly, we found the staff some of the most friendly, attentive and welcoming that I have ever found abroad. They are a credit to this hotel and chain. We thought that we had booked a 'pool view' room but when we arrived the balcony overlooked the canopy of the outdoor restaurant. We were then told 'pool view' just meant 'pool facing'! However, the reception staff quickly rectified this for us and provided us with another room with a pool view. Rooms were large and the bed was one of the comfiest I've stayed on. We went out of season so the hotel was very quiet but the resort itself was still quite lively during the day. The pool was very cold but there was the option of an indoor pool if you wanted a swim. I think the token idea for poolside drinks is a good idea as it kept the pool area nice and tidy and meant that staff weren't constantly going around collecting glasses all day. The AI drinks menu was adequate - some of the cocktails were nice. There was plenty of choice with the food for the size of the hotel and number of guests. It was renewed regularly. Occasionally things weren't labelled but there were usually staff on hand that you could ask. The bar area was very small which I can imagine being a problem when the hotel gets busier but it wasn't really a problem when we stayed. I agree a bit of bingo or a quiz would be a simple thing to offer for guest entertainment. There was a singing act on a couple of times during our stay but it wasn't really our cup of tea. The resort is very nice. It's a lovely walk in either direction. LEft to the marina (as you face the sea) and right into Cala Bona and Cala Millor. Lots of shops on the way. Just watch out for bicycles! It's lovely and flat with cycle lanes all the way up the coast. Bike hire is quite cheap so I hired a bike one day and went exploring. You can cycle up to the nature reserve and the castle for some good views across the bay. The beach at Cala Millor is nicer but again, I imagine this would get busier in peak season. We did the market in Son Severa on Friday and you are also not far from the Caves of Drach. Both can be reached via the local bus service. The stops are close to the hotel. It works out cheaper to use your card to pay for bus tickets, we found.
