Hotel in zona Maher altay spot, Il Cairo

Semiramis Intercontinntal is the best IHG properties. Every time I stay at this hotel my loyalty to IHG increase. It has a great local ion facing the Nile river and located at the center of Cairo. All hotel staff are professional and very friendly which makes you feel that you are at your home with your family. Room size is large and very clean. On top of that, the hotel is taking all hygiene measures into account. When it comes to the food, the hotel have many choices and all are having a great taste. Semiramis Intercontinental is positively way far than many of IHG other properties. At the end I would like to send special thank to Mr. Mohamed Senousi, Mr, Mahmoud Yahya, Mr. Gergis Mikhael, Mr. Michel Yacoub, Mr. Hassan Mohammed ( Night & Day Restaurant) and Mr. Ehab Fawzy.

Ho cenato all' ultimo piano di questo bellissimo hotel che dispone di un ristorante girevole che offre una vista a 360°sul Cairo, è stata un' emozione indescrivibile, abbiamo prenotato tramite il nostro hotel, arrivati nella reception dell' albergo un ascensore vi porta al quarantesimo piano,da dove, attraversando una lounge,si prende un' altro ascensore che vi porta direttamente al centro del ristorante, l'unica parte sempre fissa, ambiente molto lussuoso, cucina a vista centrale,tavoli lungo bellissime vetrate, si cena alla carta ma all' interno del menù ci sono due percorsi di degustazione composti da 3 o 4 pietanze,(antipasto, zuppa, secondo con contorno,e dolce)al costo massimo di 40 euro a persona.Cibo eccellente,pane caldo, ho mangiato una carne che si squagliava in bocca! servizio impeccabile con camerieri disponibili e gentilissimi,ci sono stata con la mia famiglia ,ma è un posto molto romantico e davvero da inserire nel vostro prossimo viaggio al Cairo

Il servizio dell'hotel è ottimo e amichevole per i cinesi. Internet al Cairo, in Egitto, è molto scarso. Scarica in anticipo l'app di taxi internazionale DiDi. L'hotel offre una ricca colazione e il servizio è molto cordiale. Soggiornerò in questo hotel la prossima volta che andrò al Cairo.

La colazione è ricca e la camera dell'hotel è molto pulita. Se ti piace camminare, puoi andare alla Pyramid Scenic Area a piedi. Tuttavia, ci saranno persone del posto lungo la strada che continueranno a dirti che non puoi camminare su quella strada Proveranno a portarti in giro e ti chiederanno di prendere un taxi. La camera in cui ho alloggiato aveva un bagno separato. L'igiene all'interno era nella media. Qui c'erano spesso vento e sabbia! La stanza è molto piccola, il letto è troppo morbido quando dormo, il materasso è di scarsa qualità, mi sento come se le molle mi rimbalzassero addosso, 😂😂😂, la colazione è già pronta, ce ne sono tre tipi, va bene, dopo tutto, il prezzo è buono! La cosa più importante è che la posizione è buona, la vista delle piramidi è incredibile, posso vederla dalla mia camera e anche il ristorante sul tetto è buono! C'era una cosa principale che mi ha fatto sentire a disagio. Quando ho fatto il check-out, ho lasciato i miei sandali nella stanza, ho chiamato l'hotel per chiedere, ma l'hotel ha detto che non ne avevano più! Questo è davvero brutto! Tutto il resto va bene. Se vuoi vedere le piramidi da solo, il prezzo della vita qui è buono e la posizione è buona, puoi semplicemente andarci!

Not the best Marriott I had ever visited. Booked because of the pyramid view. Room is spacious but a little old, service at the buffet is so-so (restaurant staff started eating buffet food 30 mins before closing - which was weird to looks we were still dining in), room service menu choices are limited (basically the same as in the restaurant with lesser options).

We traveled to this place with our infant with the only expectation of getting a pyramids view and considering the heat, flexibility to be very close to the pyramids at Giza. The location is one of the best in the vicinity, and gives a direct view of the Sphinx. We were welcomed by warm staff (Duniya) and greeted to the terrace wherein the pyramids and the sphinx were lit at night. It was a dusty evening, but the overall atmosphere was great. The incident that has set this stay apart from the others was a personal episode. The next day we chose to visit the major locations of Cairo side like the NMEC and Khan-al-Khalili, and some shopping. En route, my wife lost her phone and we were extremely stressed out in the evening, with all her contacts and memories on the phone. This is the instance when the hospitality of the hotel came into picture. Nearly everyone on the reception staff was aware of the situation, and they started going out of their way to help her. Be it calling the taxi at night and asking (more like instructing) to do whatever it takes to find the phone, to go at each and every place in Cairo and Giza we had been. Language is a constraint, and at each and every instant we wanted a person of trust to translate Arabic to English for us, and in addition, to provide guidance. Ashour at the reception constantly kept calling on my phone to ask updates. They even arranged for a late breakfast for us. To cut the story, we did FIND the phone and there was a happy story in the end. I have to place emphasis on the fact, that Cairo and Egypt functions on a different set of principles that involves a lot of over selling. If we can separate that emotion, and trust on such people who are really willing to help (they still might want to sell you a package ;)), sets the experience apart. They even treated our young kid with a friendship band. The restaurant food quality could be improved, but please remember, first and foremost its a tourist place with a very high footfall. I would like to visit Cairo again, and without a beat stay at this place. Thanks Duniya and Ashour for us to make our stay a very memorable one.

È un hotel recentemente costruito e pagato al soggiorno. La vista è la migliore, e l'hotel stesso è completamente pulito. E' completamente nuovo. E' proprio vicino all'ufficio di biglietto della piramide giornalista. Sembra che molti coreani non lo sappiano, ma si può prendere foto di tre piramidi e sphinx allo stesso tempo. La colazione non è un buffet, ma semplicemente mangiarlo sulla terrazza. La stanza è tesa, ma la vista della stanza è chiusa. Ma a questo prezzo, questa raffinità e questa visione sono del tutto ragionevoli.

L'hotel è proprio di fronte alle piramidi. C'erano posti a sedere sulla terrazza sul tetto, che potevi usare gratuitamente in qualsiasi momento. È la posizione migliore da cui è possibile vedere le tre piramidi. Forniscono anche cibo a un costo aggiuntivo, ma l'ho comprato fuori e l'ho mangiato sul tetto. (Non c'è stato alcun rimprovero per aver portato dentro le cose.) È aperto 24 ore su 24, quindi ho potuto godermi lo spettacolo di luci e suoni che si svolge di notte, anche se a distanza. Tuttavia, da lontano, pensavo che fosse noioso. . Per quanto riguarda la camera, la quantità di acqua nella doccia era scarsa e il boiler non era regolato correttamente, per cui a volte l'acqua usciva molto calda. L'approvvigionamento idrico è un po' strano, ma la terrazza sul tetto è meravigliosa, quindi penso che valga la pena utilizzarla. Inoltre, al momento del check-in, mi è stato offerto un tour della piramide, ma non credo che sarebbe un problema se rifiutassi chiaramente.

One of the highlights of my visit was the traditional Egyptian breakfast served each morning. The spread was a feast for the senses, with a variety of freshly prepared dishes that showcased the rich flavors of Egyptian cuisine. From fluffy falafel and creamy hummus to freshly baked bread and flavorful shakshuka, every bite was a delight. The breakfast not only provided a hearty start to the day but also offered a genuine taste of local culture. The hotel's location is perfect for exploring the pyramids, and the staff were always ready to assist with any inquiries or arrangements. Their warm hospitality and dedication to guest satisfaction were evident in every interaction, making me feel welcome and valued throughout my stay. After a day of exploring, returning to the comfort of my spotless room and indulging in the exquisite breakfast the next morning was the perfect way to experience the magic of Egypt.
