Hotels con internet a Cairns North

Proprio al mare, si può vedere il mare dal balcone.C'è un po'di distanza dalla città di Keynes, non è affatto pulito e molto conveniente.Il servizio sanitario pulito è anche molto buono. L'hotel ha una propria piscina, perché vivere a Keynes è molto lungo, quindi più tempo è nella piscina dell'hotel, scegliere un posto dove guardare il libro e guardare un po'di sole, e una buona esperienza.

Ho prenotato questo hotel durante un viaggio d'affari per concedermi due giorni in più per giocare. Nel complesso è abbastanza buono. Anche se non è all'altezza di un hotel a stelle, dispone di tutti i servizi di base. Il materasso è un po' troppo morbido, è un letto a molle. Ma per il prezzo, è abbastanza conveniente. Nel complesso molto soddisfatto.

Abbiamo soggiornato dal 22/8 al 29/8/2022 la camera era standard. Misure piccole, in due con bagagli fate fatica a muovervi, igiene non profonda, abbiamo trovato sporco dietro e sotto al frigo e nessuno ha fatto una pulizia adeguata in tutto il soggiorno. Gli asciugamani non si seccano nemmeno se li stendete, ambiente umido e loro le cambiano ogni 3 giorni, se beccate una domenica, il servizio di pulizia non funziona. L'ultimo giorno dovevano fare il bucato ma avevamo solo 6,5 dollari. La lavatrice della struttura funziona con 4 dollari come l'asciugatrice. Pioveva a dirotto e avevamo bisogno di lavare i panni sporchi. Abbiamo chiesto infinite volte di scambiarci 2euro per 1 dollaro e mezzo oppure addebitarci questo importo sulla carta di credito che chiedono come deposito. Alla reception i due signori descritti ci hanno fatto andare a piedi mentre pioveva a 1 km di distanza con i panni bagnati nella valigia perché loro non fanno servizio di cambio valuta. Due perfetti incompetenti che non assistono il cliente in nulla, anzi ci hanno riso in faccia quando abbiamo chiesto di aiutarci per 1 dollaro e mezzo. Se avete bisogno chiedete al signore gentilissimo con gli occhiali. Non ricordo il nome ma è davvero una persona COMPETENTE. Il resto della struttura vale quanto pagate. La posizione è comoda se vi piace fare una passeggiata la mattina per uscire e la sera per tornare in camera. La collezione è limitata al dolce ma rispecchia quanto loro descrivono. È comunque abbondante. Se ci dovessimo tornare chiederemmo la stanza di categoria superiore.

Weather aside (we knew this was not the right season for Cairns), the price / performance ratio for this place is not right. It is not badly maintained but also not sufficiently maintained for the climate. First glance is OK but details are not. The facility being split across a street is not mentioned anywhere we looked … and quite inconvenient when it rains as usual his time of the year. The pictures on the web site or other travel sites look nice but the truth is different, as usual. Rooms are truly spacious but the pools are not and the rooms are definitely not as immaculate as on the pictures. Just the door frame is rusted. So is the door of the fridge and the light fixture above the bathroom sink. Some of the kitchen cupboards doors show their age and do not close right. And, icing on the cake, the wifi is the lousiest you can imagine, reminding me of what 4-5-star hotels used to offer in the early 2000. Simply impossible to connect from the room, bad and iffy from the terrace, practically had to go the reception to get anything decent. And even there you would have to sign in again and again in the old-fashioned security system that is unable to recognize customers who have signed in before or maintain their connection as they wander through the complex.

Stayed 1 night owing to its location to rental car pound and airport. Dropped car off at rentals, walked back to the hotel. Our room was ready, even though we were early, no problem, very welcoming receptionist. Room had everything we needed - but it overlooked the main Highway. We ate in restaurant that night, perfectly adequate, very helpful waiting staff. Asked hotel to arrange taxi for a 4.30 pick up. Taxi arrived on time and dropped us off at the airport. Everything went well, apart from the noise. The road is very busy till late and internally someone near to our room was having shower/bath late at night and the plumbing seemed to go right through our room.

I saw ‘Cairns City’ in the title & booked, but don’t be fooled like I was as the motel is up in Cairns North, a good 15 minute walk from the Cairns CBD & Esplanade area. The view from my apartment was the Cairns State High football field on Sheridan Street. That said, the motel was decent for the price charged ($180 a night in peak season) and the Wi-fi was strong which was important as I was working remotely for a full day from my room. It’s by no means a modern motel but the room size was adequate & had everything I needed for a short 2 night stay. The room was well prepped, with a fresh tropical coconut fragrance as you walk in. There is a bit of noise from the Main Street outside and you can hear other guests next door from time to time but overall nothing too distracting. There were cafes & shops nearby within walking distance including a bakery 5 minutes up the road which does espresso coffee. But it is not a city motel & without a car it’s a hike to get to the Cairns esplanade/lagoon area where tourists normally go. On the first night I walked into town & saw the laser light show installed for the Cairns Festival near the Pier Bar & had a massage treatment at Foot & Body in Orchid Plaza.

Il resort Bohemia si trova vicino all'aeroporto, eccellenti pub (Cock & Bull immagine) e ristoranti, così perfetto per un soggiorno di notte. Le camere sono di base ma pulite, abbastanza vecchie bagni, semplici strutture in condizioni eque. comodo letto. Ben prezzi e ben situati. Personale amichevole.

The location is excellent, with spectacular views of the ocean - if you had an Oceanview room. I didn’t originally because my travel agent messed up. But the manager, Richard, was super helpful and was able to give me one after some work on his part. My room was spacious, clean, and had a great view on the top floor. The housekeeping was very good (they promptly replaced a worn out chair), the laundry was prompt, the premises were clean and quiet, and they had a full buffet breakfast. The best part for me was the air conditioning, which kept the room cool even when it was 94 F outside. Also, the location was less than a km from grocers and about a km from some nice restaurants on the Esplanade. So the hotel suited me perfectly.

We booked this apartment for a family holiday for 4 people. We booked a 2 bedroom apartment which had plenty of space, air con in each room and living room, and was stocked with all the amenities that a family would need such as a dishwasher, dryer, etc. The apartment is about a 30 minute walk from the main area of Cairns so we needed to catch an Uber each time which wasn’t ideal. The reception hours are also limited to working hours each day. We did have an issue with a shower handle coming off it’s hinge and had to wait until morning to have this fixed. We could also hear people walking up and down as the complex isn’t very sound proofed. There was a clean accessible pool which we also used. There was a clean bbq space too which would be useful for family gatherings. Overall, we had a generally enjoyable stay but would consider staying somewhere closer to the main area if we were to visit again.
