What an amazing hotel and location! We stayed here for two nights during our stay in North Wales, while we walked up Mount Snowdon. Amy (the owner) was absolutely lovely, so friendly and welcoming - James’s breakfast was delicious 😋 Everything was perfect, beautiful inside and out, great amenities, fantastic service, clean, and comfortable. We could not find any fault and we can’t wait to find another reason to return 😁

James & Amy couldn’t have been more helpful. They explained everything when we arrived, helped with our luggage and advised us on bus times and local restaurants. Breakfast was lovely and our room had everything we needed. Tea and coffee available 24th a day. There’s a bus stop right by the hotel and Llanberis town centre is about a mile away.

We enjoyed 2 nights with Amy and James at this lovely hotel. The downstairs lounge areas are so cosy and welcoming, and there is something so homely about popping downstairs to make a cuppa. Perfectly hosted, Amy and James are there when you need them and have lots of advice to share, particularly about routes up Snowdon (we were there to climb the mountain). They were even kind enough to let us use their plates/cutlery to eat our Indian takeaway in the downstairs area one night. A lovely location, plenty of parking, comfy beds, a beautiful garden and the loveliest of hosts. Don't even get me started on the jams!!

Absolutely loved this treasure of a find. We booked this hotel as close to Zip world. 5 min drive from Llanberis, although could walk. Quaint little village with some lovely eateries. Great location close to some very pretty parts of North Wales. Amy and James were the perfect hosts and the history of the hotel is one to ask about when they're! they were there for us throughout, tea and coffees on hand all day and night and the breakfast was outstanding. The rooms were very comfortable and homely. We loved waking up to the lake view. 'We'll back back' as they say! The Whitts!

We booked this hotel as close to Zip world!! An amazing find. Great location close to some very pretty parts of North Wales Amy and James went over and above to ensure we had the best stay and were very knowledgable about the local area Comfortable rooms with lots of homely features Great breakfast cooked by James Lots of choice Will definitely return Thank you

A cosy, warm and welcoming destination after a long journey, Amy and James went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. Relaxing lounge with a few drinks in the evening, rooms were spotlessly clean, and James' signature porridge or choice of cooked breakfast made a perfect start to a day of walking. Wouldn't hesitate to return.

Stayed at the Lake View recently - Amy & James were excellent hosts throughout. Received a pre arrival email, checking on arrival time etc. On arrival proper, I was greeted by James and made to feel very welcome, there was nothing that seemed too much trouble to either James or Amy - very attentive to their guests. My room was spot on for my needs as a lone traveler/visitor - very clean, always a plus! Cooked breakfast was also very good and well received. Although I didn't experience myself during my stay - they do offer a selection of local alcoholic beverages - I did intend to pick a taster pack up before I left (along with some of the delicious jam they sell and serve at breakfast) - but I forgot!!

Where do I start? Let's start with the basics. Location - Perfect. Hotel is located directly on the A4086. It's easy to find and great for the local buses Rooms - Perfect. Nicely designed and spotless Proprietors - Amy and James are both wonderful. They make you feel like friends, not just guests Knowledge of the local area - Perfect. Amy is a little North Wales encyclopedia! Just ask and she'll inform I could go on and on but in a nutshell, my wife and I love this B&B and are so looking forward to returning in the not too distant future
