El Cortijo Hotel Boutique

Exquisitely and tastefully furnished traditional building in the little town of Cachi. Gorgeously landscaped gardens making them a perfect place to relax! Staff were very helpful. Highly recommended place to stay if stopping overnight in this cute town!

A charming boutique hotel in a so cute and autentique village in northern Argentina. Great breakfast, dinner, ambient and service. The people are lovely. It's a five star experience that I can only recommend to everybody to experience. Don't miss it if you go that way.

Tin Tin 13 is the best room but wifi can be tricky there. My first night was at Tin Tin 13 then last night at Almeda. Love the shower area! Simple and easy to use. They provide nice toiletries and lovely body lotion too. Bed is comfortable though pillow are not great. Patio area is big and lovely that looks at the mountains. Breakfast is ok, not great. No omelette, some scramble eggs. Bar is open early. We can have a Gin Tonic at 1130am! They've a small pool but cold. Best to swim at 4-5pm. Very nice outdoor area for drinks or just to read. Only 4 blocks to town. Easy to head out for nice lunch/dinner. They've few interesting selection of Champagne here. Wine selection by the bottle is plenty. We had dinner first night, the steak was fantastic! So is the chicken with Quinoa dish. Downside is their dinner can only start at 8pm.

We stayed for 1-night in a superior double room at the El Cortijo Hotel Boutique in Cachi ($189 Can). The hotel is located just above the main town centre in a quiet residential area. It stretches back on a relatively narrow property from an unassuming entrance, passing first through the lobby (with a nice sitting area), then into a peaceful place, with an open atrium with the restaurant on the left and the rooms on the right, seating areas on the patio, then onto another patio to a small pool with additional sitting areas. Our room was large and comfortable, with rustic white-washed walls and log roof rafters, dark wood door lintels, a comfortable queen bed with side tables, chair and wood chest – very much in keeping with the gaucho vibe. There were a couple of shelves for clothes, a safe, but no TV or mini-refrigerator. The bathroom was down 3-steps (dicey at night), with a large shower, strangely with a wood floor but plenty of hot water. The restaurant had good meals – our dinner cost $15 US for two, including a couple of drinks. Breakfast was fine, with baked items, fruit cocktail, ham and cheese, scrambled eggs. The hotel was located 6-7 blocks from the central plaza, a short car ride or a longer walk. The nearest mini-market was at the plaza. Overall, a pleasant surprise in a small, interior Argentine town.

Cosy hotel, with a nice pool, courtyard, and good location. Massage service works well. Restaurant is elegant and with goof food. To improve the experience, they could work on ...attention to some details, like on internet connectivity, fridge, TV , air conditioner, better coordination for billing. And please for a boutique hotel it is silly to charge 2 $ for a cappuccino coffee at breakfast!

A classical colonial design, with every public space boasting and hosting contemporary art from the region. A joy to behold. Rooms are calm and comfortable, service is stellar and an excellent restaurant is part of / adjoining the hotel. The public spaces are welcoming, the outdoor pool area is slick and sleek. All in all restful. And protected parking adjoining.
