El Cortijo Hotel Boutique

El Cortijo is a lovely spot to stay in Cachi. It is just a short walk from the center of town. Upon entering, you feel like you are in a special sanctuary far from anywhere. The view from our room was amazing. We had a small private deck just outside the room that looked out to the Andes. The room was very comfortable and clean. Furnishings were rustic and appropriate to the place and time. Loved the small window in the shower! The public spaces really shine. We loved sitting in the courtyard or patio and eating a snack or having a drink. The small pool area is magical. Beautiful gardens as well. Service was good. Breakfast was typical for Argentina. We ate dinner at the adjacent restaurant as well. Food was very good and it was a relaxing atmosphere.

Tin Tin 13 is the best room but wifi can be tricky there. My first night was at Tin Tin 13 then last night at Almeda. Love the shower area! Simple and easy to use. They provide nice toiletries and lovely body lotion too. Bed is comfortable though pillow are not great. Patio area is big and lovely that looks at the mountains. Breakfast is ok, not great. No omelette, some scramble eggs. Bar is open early. We can have a Gin Tonic at 1130am! They've a small pool but cold. Best to swim at 4-5pm. Very nice outdoor area for drinks or just to read. Only 4 blocks to town. Easy to head out for nice lunch/dinner. They've few interesting selection of Champagne here. Wine selection by the bottle is plenty. We had dinner first night, the steak was fantastic! So is the chicken with Quinoa dish. Downside is their dinner can only start at 8pm.

We stayed for 1-night in a superior double room at the El Cortijo Hotel Boutique in Cachi ($189 Can). The hotel is located just above the main town centre in a quiet residential area. It stretches back on a relatively narrow property from an unassuming entrance, passing first through the lobby (with a nice sitting area), then into a peaceful place, with an open atrium with the restaurant on the left and the rooms on the right, seating areas on the patio, then onto another patio to a small pool with additional sitting areas. Our room was large and comfortable, with rustic white-washed walls and log roof rafters, dark wood door lintels, a comfortable queen bed with side tables, chair and wood chest – very much in keeping with the gaucho vibe. There were a couple of shelves for clothes, a safe, but no TV or mini-refrigerator. The bathroom was down 3-steps (dicey at night), with a large shower, strangely with a wood floor but plenty of hot water. The restaurant had good meals – our dinner cost $15 US for two, including a couple of drinks. Breakfast was fine, with baked items, fruit cocktail, ham and cheese, scrambled eggs. The hotel was located 6-7 blocks from the central plaza, a short car ride or a longer walk. The nearest mini-market was at the plaza. Overall, a pleasant surprise in a small, interior Argentine town.

What a wonderful place! The room was excellent, with a die for view, the facilities are fantastic and the staff are delightful. The hotel is a small quaint offering with rooms on 2 floors-we had a room on the upper floor out of which we had the most glorious views of the Andes from both windows. The bed is positioned perfectly to get that view! There was a very modern bathroom too. The hotel is also located really well. Would definately stay there again.

Cosy hotel, with a nice pool, courtyard, and good location. Massage service works well. Restaurant is elegant and with goof food. To improve the experience, they could work on ...attention to some details, like on internet connectivity, fridge, TV , air conditioner, better coordination for billing. And please for a boutique hotel it is silly to charge 2 $ for a cappuccino coffee at breakfast!

A classical colonial design, with every public space boasting and hosting contemporary art from the region. A joy to behold. Rooms are calm and comfortable, service is stellar and an excellent restaurant is part of / adjoining the hotel. The public spaces are welcoming, the outdoor pool area is slick and sleek. All in all restful. And protected parking adjoining.

El Cortijo is an outstanding boutique hotel that truly gives a boutique experience! Is is simply stunning, its restaurant incredible, and the staff were amazing. I recommend highly for couples or with older, teen children. After a short stay, this is now one of my 2 top favourite boutique hotels in the world. Just beautiful!

We stayed at El Cortijo Hotel Boutique for one night during our trip. It was the best hotel we had. Very big and spacious. The room and bathroom were modern and clean. The decor of the hotel was very nice and the pool was big. There were also plenty of loungers and relaxing places around. The breakfast was very good. They had a buffet and a very good selection of food and drinks. It also tasted good. The service was also friendly and helpful. From a price point of view it was in the normal range. It is definitely worth it. I would recommend this hotel if you are in Catchi.

Este alojamiento es la definición de Hotel Boutique por excelencia. Cada detalle está cuidado y pensado. Los espacios son TODOS acogedores y cada uno tiene su particularidad. Imposible quedarte con uno. Nuestra habitación fue de ensueño. Cama muy cómoda, sábanas muy agradables y las comodidades de la propia habitación son inmejorables. Dispone de una terraza privada donde nos tumbamos a mirar el cielo y jugamos a descubrir estrellas. Mis felicitaciones a quien se encargó de la decoración y el diseño de los espacios Cenamos en su restaurante, y todo, comida, postres y bebidas estaba excelente. Quizás un poco lenta la atención, pero eso puede ser por mi propia percepción del tiempo, acostumbrado a la velocidad de la ciudad. El personal es de una calidez absoluta. Muy agradables todos. Todavía no me fui y ya quiero volver. De hecho estoy escribiendo esta reseña antes de ir a desayunar. Pero estoy convencido que todo será igual de bueno. Recomendable 100%..
