Byron Bay: i migliori hotel a 5 stelle

We almost went overseas to a resort just prior to Christmas m, but with lack of flights, overpriced hotels at last minute & all of the drink poisoning episodes overseas, we felt this was better option! Two days in and it’s bliss. This is my 4th time here. We’ve stayed in a variety of rooms and we are right near the beach this time. The rooms are super cute. The only thing missing is a verandah here - but the bed is comfortable, we love the oversized bath and it’s very luxe like home. The restaurant is the only thing we feel lets it down- the menu could do with a revamp - as you would get bored after a week, but breakfasts are great, and the bar menu is pretty good too. The pools - particularly the adult pool is fantastic. The other pool is stunning at night. The service has been a bit average in the restaurants - waiters tend to stand around and talk to each other, but the staff are very friendly indeed. All in all, a great 4.5-5 star place for an Australian holiday, where you feel like you’ve left the country. The landscapes are stunning and I love the fact you don’t feel overcrowded. If you live nature, this is an amazing place to visit.

Non appena arrivammo, ci siamo rilassati. La posizione della foresta piovana è così speciale. Il nostro alloggio era perfetto e la sala solare circondata da alberi era così santuario. Abbiamo trovato l'albero che si curava sul cammino della foresta piovana e i bambini che si tenevano a riprendere per le gru - così buone vibrazioni; i bambini godevano la piscina che era vuota - grande per i nostri figli. Il giorno elementare era un sogno - ho avuto il massaggio di guarigione chakra e ho davvero goduto l'esperienza rilassante e immersiva dei cristalli e delle bocche sonore.Abbiamo avuto colazione, pranzo e cena a Forest e il personale è davvero eccezionale. Non è facile mangiare con due bambini, ma il personale era così grande con i nostri figli. E' sorprendente che abbiamo passato attraverso il delizioso 5 corso di gusto! Uno deve provare con i vini corrispondenti. I squid e il re sono stati i vincitori per noi. Sono così felice di aver fatto la classe di yoga mattinale (anche se fosse solo una volta!) guardando giu' nella foresta piovana - un grande inizio al giorno. Non possiamo aspettare di tornare!

Great little studio in the heart of Byron Bay. Walking distance to town. Well equipped kitchen and bathroom. Lots of instructions for everything in the house. Comfy bed. Kitchen stocked with water and other staples. Washing and dryer facilities. Host was on hand at all times and easily reachable. We stayed for 5 nights and it started to feel a bit small after a couple of nights. The outside area wasn’t comfortable enough for us to want to spend time out there. The bathroom was nice but was very damp for most of our stay (our towels didn’t really dry). The shower curtain isn’t ideal as water easily gets all over the bathroom floor.

Having not been to Byron since 2006, I came for a night with a friend. We didn't want to be spending in to the 100s for a room we would only sleep in. We opted for the Cape Byron YHA. For $70, we got a twin room with a double and a bunk. The room was pretty bare, no TV - But it had a clothes hang/store area / mirror / enough plugs for the 2 of us. The bed was comfy and the covers were clean and warm (you have to ***** the bed upon check out). There were 3 or 4 showers in the block on our floor, same for toilets - you needed the swipe card to get in - again clean, warm. The kitchen area was large - this grossed me out a little - but it's been a long time since I backpacked Oz and needed to cook for myself in such. The pans were old and pretty grubby. You had to get your plates etc from reception - but we had ours with us. The tea towels were rank - I wouldn't use. The worst however was a bloke in the kitchen coughing all over the place - not the hostels fault, but nasty nonetheless. Needless to say, we didn't go sit and eat by him - we ate on our balcony which had a table and 2 chairs. During COVID-times and no flights coming in to Oz, this hostel serviced a range of ages - I am 40 and there were people older than me there. I found the hostel more like a motel. Good location and good wifi.
