We took two rooms for three nights. The rooms were comfortable - and very quiet at night (OK there are church bells on the hour in the village but I found it nicely reassuring) . Bathrooms modern. Everything spotless. The breakfast were fresh and excellent. Tricia and Andrew even helped us with charging our electric car and now have a 7kW charger installed - so perfect. The village has several eateries and pubs and is a lovely quiet place to walk around. All in thoroughly recommended.

We really enjoyed our stay here, Tricia and Andrew are very welcoming. We were in the Church View room which is delightful, very well appointed and spotlessly clean. The bed is very comfortable, the room spacious and even though the church clock chimes every quarter it wasn't intrusive. Sadly I didn't use the bath as it is very high, even though there is a step, but at my age I wasn't confident and felt I might fall! Breakfast was lovely and pre ordered each night online. Should we visit the Peaks again we would love to stay here. Margaret & Alan

The charming hosts were so welcoming and helpful with suggestions of where to eat out. The location was stunning, next to the church and in a beautiful village. We thought that the room, Church View, was gorgeous, large and comfortable with a sumptuous bed, and lovely claw foot bath in the well appointed en-suite bathroom. We wished we could have stayed for longer and hope to return. The breakfast was simply delicious with plenty of choice and use of local produce. Highly recommended!

I did and it cost me £130. We booked three nights at what we thought was a high end accommodation and arrived to a pleasant welcome from the owner. She told us we would have to order breakfast online which we thought a bit strange, then took us up to a pokey little room furnished in a very old fashioned manner. I began to smell a rat and then discovered that the bathroom was not en-suite but down a corridor. The owner said there was an empty en-suite room but wanted to charge us even more then the £130p.n. we were already paying. We decided enough was enough and left to find alternative accommodation suited to our needs. Avoid!

Very pleasant 4 night stay in lovely property close to great walks in the Peak District. Excellent hosts who made us welcome from start, with cup of tea in garden, to finish. Superb English Breakfast with good choice.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at The Old Vicarage. Tricia and Andrew were the perfect hosts--friendly and conversational, and absolutely willing to go the extra mile to make our stay enjoyable. They designed the delicious breakfasts according to our time frame, and there was very tasty cake and tea waiting for us after a day of being out and about. The rooms where we and our friends stayed were comfortable, immaculately clean, and very charmingly decorated. The Old Vicarage is located in the lovely village of Tideswell, in the Peak District, and our hosts were able to direct us to scenic places to visit and wonderful places to dine. We would love to go back for another visit, and we highly recommend this bed and breakfast!

What a beautiful B&B. The setting and location are excellent. The accommodation is traditional suited to this historic location. Comfortable rooms and beds. The owners/hosts are very welcoming. Nothing is too much. Breakfast was superb. We will be back.

You immediately feel at home in the relaxed atmosphere of the beautifully kept Old Vicarage. The top quality furnishings add a touch of luxury to your stay. It is close to a wide range of local amenities and is ideally placed for exploring the Peak District National Park.

Stayed for 5 nights . Room was very comfortable and spotlessly clean. We had a great welcome with tea and cake in the sitting room after our journey. Breakfast was delicious with local produce and Tricia and Andrew had so much local knowledge and tips of where to walk in the area and places to eat. A beautiful home and garden and we would go back again if we were in the area. Highly recommended.
