Amazing hotel wonderful facilities and stay

We've just had a wonderful evening meal and overnight stay at the Buxted Park hotel. Accommodation - Basil Ionides suite - Excellent. Food - carrot & butternut squash soup, t-bone pork and pork belly, strawberry delice and blackberry mousse - Excellent. The real highlight for us was that Marc D, Rob and Jean-Francois were amazing and treated us like royalty, which is exactly what they did 12 years ago at our wedding reception. Where else can you find this level of loyalty and commitment to providing excellent service?

My husband and I married here 7 years ago and regularly come back because we are treated like a part of the Handpicked family. Everybody working at Buxted are amazing and go out of their way to make our stay special. As always there are special mentions, the first to Marc Desseaux who over the years of visiting Buxted Park has become a lovely friend. Unable to decide what to choose from the fab menu, we invited Marc to select our dinner and wine choices. We could not have been happier. He read us well and selected perfectly for us. We also received an anniversary plate and card from the hotel and had a luxurious suite for our stay. This morning we enjoyed a fabulous breakfast and our second special mention must go to Kasper the chef who created the most incredible avocado and poached egg delight I've ever tasted.

A beautiful hotel in stunning grounds which is super dog friendly - but what made it absolutely outstanding were the staff. They were so welcoming, super attentive and nothing was too much. Both Emma on Reception and Duncan in the Restaurant (who was also generally everywhere, whether that be room service, maintenance, serving in the restaurant, or providing dog treats!) deserve special mention. Duncan in particular went above and beyond to make our stay extra special. Everyone made us feel at home, and took the time to chat to us. The evening meal in the Orangery was fantastic. Our only feedback was the suite we stayed in was a bit tired in places (a few items need fixing/ mould around the bath/ water not being hot enough) but we looked passed these easily due to the rest of the stay being really enjoyable. We’ve stayed at Hand Picked Hotels before and will again - they are a hidden gem for dog owners.

this was an overnight stay to celebrate our wedding anniversary. From the welcome we received ,the room ,the service and food were excellent. All staff were friendly and efficient but a particular mention to Marc and Phil who were faultless in both their manner and service. Both the evening meal and breakfast were very good and menu options were well varied. Would not hesitate to recommend this hotel

I am very grateful to Buxted Park Hotel for allowing me to be part of the fantastic Mexican afternoon preparations, from the beginning you were greeted by one of the best margaritas prepared by Vlad the bartender, magnificent Mexican cuisine created by Chef De Cuisine Mr. Mark Carter and his team. Thank you very much for the excellent work by Jean-Francois and excellent service by the rest of the professional team of this wonderful hotel. Live music by the talented Camina Band directed by Mr. Felix Gonzales. Once again Mr. Marc Desseaux manages to give us a fantastic afternoon full of flavor, color and Mexican spirit.

We returned to the Buxted Park Hotel for the 1st time since we had our wedding reception 20 years ago and stayed in the George V suite. We had a wonderful experience 20 years ago and can only say that the hotel is even better than we remembered and were treated so warmly by all the staff. We had dinner in the orangery which was amazing and delicious, served by a double act of 2x French waiters who created such a great atmosphere in the restaurant, singing opera and offering cheery banter with all diners. The George V suite is quite special and we felt privileged to stay there, but also were made to feel like family as soon as we got to reception and checked in. A hand written card welcoming us back for our wedding anniversary was a lovely touch with chocolate truffles. Thank you, again for making our anniversary so special and for the memories of our wedding day .

Great hotel in such a relaxing location the staff were tip top!! Great food and drink we had a good chat with the French guy sorry I forget his name all in all a great state we're definitely recommend and visit again lovely room as you would expect

We came on Boxing Day for my mother in laws birthday and the service was outstanding, the staff couldn’t do more for you they were unbelievably accommodating for my coeliac allergy everything was served separate for me (gravy, vegetables, bread etc) Rob one of the staff members made a special request for a gluten free sticky toffee pudding for me which the chef had prepared. They made my mother in laws birthday really special, nothing was to much trouble for the hotel, they made it so special for us and such a memorable occasion. I couldn’t rave more about the experience. Thank you so much
