Hotel a Bussum, Paesi Bassi

Large parking lot with free parking; directly next to the train station. My room was spacious with 2 single beds. I only used one; presumably it's possible to put the beds together to get a king-/queen size. There's a Nespresso machine in the room - I sure do appreciate coffee in the morning. An electric kettle is available on request. Unfortunately the hallways have a strong smell of old cigar smoke. And there's no elevator. My room was at the backside of the hotel with a view of the cemetery next to the hotel. To me it meant a quiet night without the noise of cars or trains. Maybe less quiet if you're a clairvoyant. The personnel is friendly but seemed inexperienced. They sure did their best, but one doesn't serve a milk coffee if you asked for a Latte Macchiato. There's also a rather limited choice of snacks and drinks (both alcoholic and non-alcoholic) so we ended up taking a trip to the nearby town for food. Breakfast was OK - not great. Again, limited choice. Altogether a reasonable hotel if you appreciate a spacious and relatively modern room for one night. But find a restaurant in town if you want a decent meal.

Il personale è molto amichevole. Arrivammo alla sera dell'anno 19.50 e volevamo mangiare, che in realtà poteva fino a 20 ore. Dopo una chiamata dal receptionista in cucina, siamo stati benvenuti. Al ristorante ci sono stati così amichevoli, nonostante il fatto che abbiamo finito di lavorare. Era un buon inizio del nostro soggiorno. Ci ritroveremo sicuramente!!

The room we were given was one for people with a disability, which meant it was very spacious. The decor was nice, the beds comfortable, although a little soft. The bathroom was also spacious and had everything a disabled person would need. It didn't bother us we were staying in this room. We didn't have breakfast but had a coffee which was good. Because this room is on the ground floor just behind reception and next to the breakfast room we did experience noise. There is a 24-hour coffee and tea making facility in the breakfast room which is great. However, when we were staying, there were people in there even in the middle of the night, as we could hear the chairs being used (scraping sound which was very audible in our room). That got worse when breakfast service really started in the morning. It made sleeping a little challenging. We would stay here again, but would definitely ask for a room on a higher floor and further away from the breakfast room. Check in and out was quick and easy and staff were friendly.

I had a terrible experience in this hotel at the end of August. Someone(s) broke into my room for 2 consecutive days with my door confirmed locked. The hotel didn't treat me seriously, they couldn't provide any convincing explanation or compensation. I went there for a business trip and had booked this hotel for 10 nights. The break in incident happened in the early morning 5:30am after my first sleep. I heard someone tried to open my door, but because I had locked it, so the intruder shaked the handle a few times, and eventually it did open!!! I went down and reported to the reception directly and asked if there was any CCTV. The staff said she didn't know...had to wait for her colleague to come back to answer me in the evening....by then i was told that there was no CCTV in this hotel...and they admitted it was one of their staff who broke into my room!!! I requested an explanation, the front desk only said it would not happen again. I requested to meet the duty manager, she said the manager would talk to me tomorrow....this is how they treated this security issue and code of conduct ”seriously”. Totally unacceptable. I could only go back to my room for the 2nd night. But then at 7:15am in the next morning, there was someone broke into my room again!! With a loud door closing sound, which i even more confirmed then the first time. The intruder went out as well before showing his/her face. It was unbelievable!!! I reported to the front desk again but they seemed not believe in me. Said it was not their staff this time and it was impossible to unlock the door with other cards. Long story short, it took me a whole day again in order to talk to the duty manager. And i personally showed her how to unlock my door using her card. She was finally speechless and arranged a new room for me. She said would investigate But I still could not receive a solid explanation in the next day and really felt unsafe. I was not able to sleep well and was super alert to different sounds. The next day the GM finally met me, but then still no compensation or with any gesture of apology. Didn't feel i was treated seriously so I decided to change the hotel for personal safety. They still charged me the fee for the 3 days. This was my worst hotel experience ever. Located next to Almere station, and a World Trade Centre building. Trains direct via South station,from Schiphol (AMS) Airport, 28 mins, not around loop through Amsterdam. Obtain or top up yr Travel Chipkaart, for travel on ALL trains, trams, buses, metro Nationally! No time limits or expensive periods, just as travel should be. Try also to get a loaded debit Euros card, fewer places take cash, and ONLY major stores Credit cards. Check any card you bring is NOT classed as a Credit card here, options are running very low for everyday or small purchases, and cash is sp**** used in NL's now. For tax free purchases, check in the store before to see if they participate in Global Blue, (Et al),where you will need yr passport at the store, to begin the store purchases. You can reach Amsterdam from Almere, within 16 mins by train, but the prices here are half than there. It is ideal to stay a little outside, but has all that you need without crowding as in Amstrd, to eat drink, shop, enjoy and relax. More people who stayed in the Capital before and seen done all they wish stay here. Within easy reach if you want to go there. But in Summer Season it is now over packed with people, hotel prices really double/ treble what they were Pre-Covid, and simply not worth it. It is a small city for so many crowding in and becoming less easy a place to spend time. In Almere, This hotel, is a High Rise Associated with USA Chain Best Western, More space if you select an apartment with separate living room, large Bathroom, looks v new and generally smart. Basic good size kitchenette, fridge, 2 plate Hob, which is useful; for longer stays. Great views out to Polder and Sea in distance, with the city reaches around. Opposite a Spar mini shop, with many sandwiches, hot toasted breads, coffee machine and whole good range of supermarket items, but small sized, so ideal for a few days. Or, Albert Hein mini store at station, for chilled foods, drinks, some basics handy. Plenty places to take a drink, eat meals or snacks within the city. You can buy and make yr own breakfast in the apnt, rather than an 18 Euros Breakfast here only til 9am! Plenty breakfast, lunch, anytime eat options to eat in the Centre 2 mins walk under train station. Housekeeping - However, the making of a bed is not hygienic, not covering the mattress with the sheet, no mattress cover, nor pillow case covers, the same. It means all guests sleep on the bare mattress and pillows all not covered properly. My Cosy Apnt for 2 , had 2 single duvets, open in the middle badly tucked into one side. It was quiet bizarre , impractical, not made up well. This does not comply with most basic hygiene requirements. Furniture looks nice, but not comfortable or soft, and all needs a steam clean to get rid of stains. Hairs on the furniture also. Housekeeping staff appear to be from East Europe, speak no english. abrupt, rude, no care or concern for guests, refuse to clean with you inside?!! They clearly give the impres

I had a wonderful experience at this place. The staff greeted me warmly with smiles, and I thoroughly enjoyed my time here. The rooms are modern and impeccably maintained, and it's conveniently accessible by car with paid parking near the Jumbo store. The breakfast was also delightful. I highly recommend this establishment.

A parte la lontananza dalla metro, 16 minuti a piedi, temperatura nella stanza non regolabile, nessun frigo bar, personale alla reception poco preparato, doccia trasparente in mezzo alla stanza, fortunatamente ero con mio marito, e dulcis in fundo.... Alle 6:40 del mattino scatta l'allarme con una voce all'altoparlante che diceva di abbandonare immediatamente l'edificio. So era attivato l'allarme a causa di qualche stupido che aveva acceso una sigaretta o qualcosa di simile... Insomma una non troppo bella esperienza.

Abbiamo soggiornato 4 notti nell’hotel nel mese di agosto. All’arrivo eravamo un po’ scoraggiate viste alcune pessime recensioni ma con piacevole sorpresa ci siamo rese conto che il rapporto qualità prezzo era ottimo: camera e bagno comune sempre puliti, letto comodissimo, staff cordialissimo e sempre disponibile, ottima posizione. Che dire… un ottimo soggiorno!

L hotel è carino, con una stanza moderna con un bell’affaccio. Colazione davvero ottima, check in e check out un po’ freddi ma molto veloci. Dovrebbero avere più cura della pulizia, ad esempio la culla aveva una macchia che si vedeva fosse vecchia non lavata. Vicino alla metro, in una zona tranquilla ma sicura, un po’ decentrato ma con i mezzi di Amsterdam non è stato un problema! Lo consiglio

L'hotel è convenientemente situato per coloro che vanno a concerti nelle più vicine sale. vicino alla metropolitana e al treno all'aeroporto. Ci sono caffè, negozi e centri commerciali accanto. L'hotel dispone di un piccolo negozio dove si possono acquistare bevande, cioccolatini, alcuni trucchetti.L'hotel è tutto standard, le grandi camere, il colazione è incluso (ci sono molte persone a colazione), la camera dispone di un pozzo di tè, sicura. Dalle sbarre, noto che non ci sono scarpe e manufatti, così come un vestito nella stanza, solo pendenti.
