The main floor is equipped with a full kitchen including a dishwasher and coffee waiting to be sipped, spacious living room with gas fireplace and Roku TV that operates on guest mode. Bathroom with claw foot tub to soak in, a dedicated workspace with fast WiFi and office chair, washer and dryer. Up the staircase, you will find two bedrooms each with a queen sized bed. Each bed has a luxury mattress topper for your comfort and a Roku TV in both rooms. A pack and play and baby gate for top of stairs are available upon request. The second bathroom is also located upstairs with a shower/tub combo. When you’re ready to make more memories, head on outside to the shady porch that faces Main Street. There you can relax by swinging on the porch swing or whipping up a delicious meal on the grill. Once your bellies are full, snuggle up around the fire pit that is just a few steps off the porch. A bundle of wood can be awaiting your arrival upon request for a fee. Our cabin has a clean and cozy atmosphere. Built in 1986, it has all the amenities needed for modern living. Master bedroom consists of a King bed and dresser. The second bedroom has a queen bed. The space also features a laundry room with full size washer & dryer. Roomy kitchen and dining room will suit a modest gathering of six persons. The living room features cozy two (2) half moon couches.Guests have the entire upstairs available to themselves. The cabin is a duplex with a tenant living in the finished basement. There is no access to either level from the other. Front porch holds outdoor seating to enjoy the beautiful weather that exists in the Western North Carolina mountains and a charcoal grill for your outdoor entertainment.The Cabin in the City is named so because it resembles a true cabin but it is located in the city limits. Within walking distance to downtown Burnsville, a charming small town in the mountains about 35 to 40 minutes northeast of Asheville. It was established in 1834.Burnsville is located in Yancey County. Yancey County is home to Mount Mitchell, the highest mountain East of the Mississippi River. This beautiful log cabin is surrounded by trees and wildlife. The large back deck has a gas grill and also a charcoal grill for cooking out in the evenings or any time of day. When entering the cabin, you will find a large kitchen/dining area which leads into the living room that has a wood burning fireplace, TV and comfortable seating. The primary bedroom and bathroom are very roomy and on the main floor, beautifully decorated and have a small wood burning fireplace! When you go down to the lower floor, you will find a massive, 84" TV with surround sound, perfect for all sports seasons! There is one set of bunkbeds in the lower living area and also an extra queen bed. The downstairs bedroom has a king bed and full bath with a stand up shower. This cabin is truly one of the most beautiful and comfortable homes in Wolf Laurel! There are 2,432 square feet. The owners are members of the Village Amenities giving renters use of the swimming pool, tennis courts and pickle ball courts. There is also a trout pond for your fishing enjoyment! Keep what you catch!
