Hotel con colazione inclusa a Burnaby

Questo è il nostro secondo anno in fila di prenotazione al Element Metrotown Burnaby per i nostri tornei di calcio. Roxanne in prenotazioni di gruppo era super utile e fantastico a lavorare con perché mi ha aiutato a organizzare l'alloggio. Non ho idea di cosa stavo facendo. Rafael al divano era amichevole, utile e ricordava tutto. La posizione era eccellente con molte opzioni alimentari, pasticche e un centro commerciale. Le camere erano spaziose e splendide con grandi viste. La cucina con frigorifero completo è molto conveniente per 4 occupazioni. Le letti sono anche molto confortevoli. Arriveremo sicuramente a questo hotel.

We went to Canada for business purposes. Each of us had a room on a different floor - I ended up on the 7th floor and a room with a mountain view. A colleague ended up lower and there was already only a view of the shopping center. But these are not aspects of the hotel's rating. I subtract one star for the dry air and buzzing air conditioner in the room. The rest OK. Breakfasts correct, service courteous.

Motel molto bello con piscina esterna. Camera bella, pulitissima e con tutto ciò che serve. Un pò lontano da Vancouver in realtà, i Km sono pochi ma con tutti i semafori che ci sono, in auto servono 30-40 minuti. Comunque una buona scelta se serve un appoggio per una notte di ritorno dai parchi dato che il prezzo è abbordabile rispetto al centro città. Per visitare Vancouver in più giorni non credo lo consiglierei vista la distanza.

THE GOOD: CCQ -- Clean, Comfortable, Quiet. Even the beds surprised me. Despite being firmer than I'm used to, they worked out pretty well. Staff was friendly enough, parking OK. THE BAD: Positively TINY rooms! As for the bathroom, well... I've been in bigger aircraft lavatories. In no way is this place ADA-compliant (no elevator, narrow halls, narrow doors). As for their alleged ”continental breakfast,” the facts were not a good match for the description in the property's guest guide (see photos below). There were no donuts or muffins... Just some half-used loaves of store-bought bread, a bunch of granola bars from Costco (which are, largely, little more than refined sugar), something which wanted to be coffee (and more closely resembled burned hydraulic fluid), and a jug of room-temperature orange juice. THE BOTTOM LINE: If you need a place to stay in an emergency, and nothing better's available, you'll probably do OK with this place. Outside of that, look elsewhere. Even if you end up paying more, look elsewhere!

The staff were very friendly- I apparently was the guest of the day and received a nice little treat basket in my room when I checked in. The bed was comfortable with lots of big pillows. Probably the best thing was the amount and type of towels provided. They had plenty of face cloths, hand towels, bath towels and even a bath sheet. Usually I need to call to ask for extra towels- not here! The room was well appointed with a mini fridge and microwave. I gave this a 4 mainly because of location. Although there are restaurants within walking distance, there’s nothing else really nearby. I had a mountain view room which also meant I faced Grandview Hwy. Traffic started about 6am and because there is a little balcony- there is not much sound proofing. Overall my stay was a good one, and if I needed to be in this area again I would choose to stay here.

Questa volta il Canada è libero per 38 giorni, il piano è lungo, 7/13 finalmente completato. La prima stazione è Vancouver. Rimarrà 9 giorni. A Trip, ho prenotato due camere del Royal Fukuo Yujiang. Non meno di un chilometro dalla stazione ferroviaria di trasporto della città. L'ambiente è buono e conveniente. La prossima volta che visitare Vancouver, il ferro è qui.
