Engiri Game Lodge and Campsite

Our experience at the Engiri gaming lodge was far beyond expectations. All kind of wildlife exploring around the lodges and really close at sight for visitors. The staff is super friendly and helpful, (vegetarian) food is exceptional and location is perfect to spot the wildlife that not can be seen directly on the premises. Definite go to when visiting Queen Elizabeth National Park

Our profiles : we’re a French couple, 34 years old. We stayed 18 days in Uganda for a self guided trip. We had our own car (Toyota 4X4) we rented in Kampala. Important : we brought our own tent and pitched it everywhere. It's a great place, and the bar/restaurant offers a magnificent view of the savannah. At night, rangers constantly escort you, and from our tent we heard elephants, hippos and hyenas close by. The staff are smiling and pleasant. We found the showers and toilets adequate.

This is the best place I've been in my entire life. I suggest you to go there to visit the lion tracking and many activity. The food was cheap and very very good. Shout out to my man Peter. He's the man. What I like the most is that you see elephant around the hotel every single day.

It was an amazing experience!! .. Excellent service, good accommodation and accessible price. I loved the experience with a sweet visitor (an elephant 🐘) in its camp.

Great location - 10 minutes drive to QENP entrance gate & with many wild animals visiting the area daily - staff will accompany you to your lodge during hours of darkness to ensure you’re safe when it comes to any animal encounters. Really nice lodgings - comfortable beds, mosquito nets, hot showers. Exceptional staff - everyone was so welcoming and took great care of us, from check-in to check-out. The food was wonderful - 4 courses at night, 3 courses at lunch and a big breakfast. Really enjoyed the option to try local dishes, which were all great. Thanks for a memorable stay.
