第一次是六年前服務質量都非常好， 所以新冠之後來到愛爾蘭首選就是它， 可惜這一次的整個感覺和第一次差遠了，比較失望☹️……
首先房間裏面的無線網常常中斷或者是沒信號。打電話和前台聯繫給到我們的回覆，居然是説在鄉村裡信號不好。現在科技已經那麼發達了，這樣的理由實在太牽強了。
其次是房間裏沒有飲用水沒有了， 請服務員送水，結果服務員讓我們自己去拿，這是一個星級的酒店該有的服務嗎？
理解店家用手寫的菜單來表示他們的高大上，可是整個菜單的字體讓人非常難於閲讀， 密密麻麻的，看的人頭暈。不是那種讓人舒服，明瞭的字體和排版。
既然是城堡酒店，就應該能夠讓人周圍走一走。 六年前是可以的，現在很多地方都圍了門欄。根本無法去走看。

Un soggiorno molto piacevole! La calda ospitalità inizia con un ricevimento con champagne e una presentazione divertente e divertente. L'hotel è come una comoda vecchia sedia. Il personale è accogliente, quindi rannicchiarsi con un libro o un drink davanti al camino è un'atmosfera casalinga. La colazione e la cena erano sorprendentemente ben preparate, gustose e varie. L'edificio ei giardini presentano una bella immagine. Anche se in salita, è possibile tornare a piedi dalla cena o dai pub di Clifden. È centrato per sfruttare tutte le meraviglie del Connemara.

The proprietor welcomed us to his hotel with prosecco and stories about the hotel and history of the area before supper, which I enjoyed. Then we went up for supper. There was a 3 course meal menu for a fixed price, with excellent choices. I thought the meal was delicious. A pianist played while we were eating, which was lovely. The tap water is a bit brown from the peat but don't let this turn you off. Bottled filtered drinking water was provided in the room. The bed was comfortable and there were lots of pillows. Breakfast was great too. Staff were very accommodating. Beautiful setting.

What a great unexpected experience. Booked 2 suites. Oldie worldie charm. Huge. Owner has just a great personality and gave a thorough and very interesting information meeting regarding hotel, town and surrounding area. Really added to the experience. Dinner was excellent with great service. All the staff very helpful and friendly. We had found ourselves with a night of no accommodations and directed here. We were so fortunate. Highly recommend and would go back again. Highlight of our stay in Ireland

From the moment I stepped out of my car I was greeted for assistance with my bags and smoothly checked in, got my keys and was shown to my room. Abbeyglen is really unique in the fact that it almost feels like a community when 6:30pm comes around. All the guests are invited down to the bar for a glass of champagne as Brian, one of the owners talks about the history of the hotel. He’s a real performer and mentioned that if he didn’t get into hospitality, he might have become an actor. He took our photo and by the time we went up for dinner, the photo was printed out and he personally handed it to us before showing us to our table. The food was amazing, really accommodating to my gluten and dairy intolerance which can be tricky to navigate sometimes. Overall had a really good experience here and would recommend anyone looking for a trip to Connemara visit the Abbeyglen Castle Hotel.

Spent three nights here in the Sky room and had a wonderful stay. The room had two balconies overlooking the harbour, two sofas to relax on and a huge bed. The Quay House has wonderful lounges for guest use and is a short stroll into town. Breakfast is superb as is the welcome afforded by Julia. This place is a must if you're staying in Clifden

A superb place to stay. The welcome offered by Julia, Paddy & Toby is genuinely nice and warm. They care about your wellbeing and will go out of their way to assist in any way they can. The location and view is splendid. Being able to walk into town (with many good pubs and restaurants) is a major plus. Breakfast is excellent. We stayed 4 nights (Napoleon room - spacious, very pleasant, a very good bed) and had a hard time leaving. We hope to be back as we trust that the new generation will continue the tradition of outstanding hospitality.
