Le due notti più attese ed emozionanti del mio tour in Uganda nella foresta Impenetrabile di Bwindi Bellissimo Lodge di lusso immerso nel verde della foresta Camera spaziosa con terrazza, durante la cena mettono una borsa di acqua calda nel letto.. un gesto veramente piacevole Ottima la cucina con piatti buonissimi Personale molto cordiale

Staying at this lodge was a delight. The lodge is also conveniently located close to the visitor center and the Batwa Community Center, making it a great base for exploring the area. The cozy wooden houses -each with a terrace facing the greenery- provided comfortable retreat after daily adventures. The dinners were consistently delicious, prepared by a master chef. The customer service was excellent, with some thoughtful touches that made the stay even better. I really appreciated the complimentary washing of a few items, as well as the boot cleaning after gorilla trekking—a small but very helpful service. A big thanks to Joan for handling all the arrangements smoothly and to David for his personalized assistance, especially in helping with the tourist-ranger "mapping" for the gorilla trek. If you're looking for a warm, welcoming, and well-organized lodge, I highly recommend this one!

Loved our stay at Ichumbi. The rooms are super clean, with great balconies looking into the trees, staff are lovely and the food is delicious. They were even able to cater for my gluten intolerance. The property itself is really close to the Rushaga gate making it easier to get there for your early morning start for your gorilla trek.

This mid- range and comfortable lodge provides a great base for exploring the surrounding interesting areas and particularly for Gorilla Trekking and bird watching and we really enjoyed our 4 night stay here. The rooms are comfortable and each has a balcony adjoining their neighbours. The Restaurant and Bar in the main building opens onto a large, attractive terrace and garden which gives a great place to relax and view the mountains of the forest in the distance. The indigenous flowers and trees attract many birds and al fresco dining is possible when the weather permits. The food is excellent and professionally prepared, presented and served and all the staff without exception were very friendly, attentive and helpful and enhanced our time there.

loved this friendly lodge. Excellent location really close to gorilla trekking. Staff were amazing, boots cleaned after trekking and hotel water bottle in bed whihc was needed as nights in the mountains get chilly. Would have liked comfortable outdoor seating/beds to relax after trekking. Walking tour to Batwa Pygmy village very interesting

A lovely place to stay for gorilla tracking at Bwindi. The rooms were very comfortable, but the highlight was the staff, who were exceptional. It was my father's birthday, and to mark it they baked a cake. The kitchen staff all formed a conga line and sang and danced as they brought it in after dinner. We were very touched. That combined with the gorillas made it into an unforgettable day.

This lodge was like home. I hated to leave and was disappointed in the luxury accommodation we were at after this. David manager and staff are lovely. Ugandan owned and right next to the Batwa tribe. Loved Gorilla habituation here and food and service!!!

We loved our stay at Ichumbi! We came here to do our gorilla treks. The property is closely located to the entrance and just a short walk from the souvenirs. The staff here were very kind & accommodating. They even put a hot water bottle in the bed each evening which I loved since we came during the rainy season. They also cleaned our boots which was much appreciated. The room was comfortable and clean. Don’t hesitate to stay here! Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Super comfortable lodge! Perfect for gorilla trekking. Delicious food & super personable staff! Rooms are gorgeous— can’t rave enough about the balconies! WiFi is pretty spotty but this is to be expected up in the mountains. Would stay here again for sure! Massages in the room are available too.
