A lovely 3* hotel. Immaculately clean, well presented and with excellent service.
The fit out of the rooms is new and well maintained; it is a little functional (rather than boutique), in keeping with many modern hotels, but is enhanced by lots of little touches of colour and style (paintings, bed runners, etc).
The beds were very comfortable.
Food and service in the restaurant was excellent (but if you want frog legs, you'll need to order those in advance!)

Restaurant with a small menu card but excellent quality.
Air conditioning in the room was very much appreciated at temperatures beyond 35°C.

The hotel is taking care of, clean and crispy, staff is superefficient, all the little technical niceties are there (oops, even the internet is working perfectly). Basically it's a family thing with very high standards. The place is about 20klm off the highway, but really you are in the middle of nowhere. With quite a few places with regional or farm stuff around. Good alternative if on the way from the nord to the south and you can't decide between staying in Lyon or Dijon, because of bad experiences in both of those. Biggest catch: the restaurant is fantastic. And all is cheap. PS: try to get room 24. it has a small terrace, but it is really a cute room. I had worse Junior suits in Paris! It will cost you some more. It's worth it. I gave my best smile to the lady at the reception to get it for free. I wish all of you better luck! :)

I stayed here as I needed to be in Bourg en Bresse for an appointment early morning. Its about 10-15 min from the centre but in a beautiful small country village. The value for money is exceptional for the standard you receive. The owners could not be more pleasant and helpful. The room was spotless clean and a good size with everything you need. The tolietries in the bathroom were very high standard even with locally made soap. The bed comfortable and air conditioning helped a lot to make a restful night in the heat of July. For breakfast there is a great selection and home made jams and cakes. Definitely will be back if I need to be in this area again.

Zeer vriendelijk onthaal van de gastvrouw - rustig gelegen- verzorgde kamers en aan aangenaam zwembad. Het menu in restaurant L' Intimiste was zeer geslaagd en lekker - ontbijt iets afgemeten maar wel met locale producten - een grote parking is handig en de afstand van Bourg is haalbaar

Accueil exemplaire, repas au restaurant "l'intimiste" sans aucune fausse note, chambre confortable et très bon rapport qualité/prix. Cet hôtel, découvert par hasard est à recommander! Vaut sans hésiter le détour.

Séjour convenable. Accueil parfait, mais chambre vraiment simple.
Je regrette que le radiateur sèche serviette ait été allumé au max à mon arrivée…
Le petit déjeuner est cher au pro rata de ce qui est proposé.
