Matta Village

Questo è un hotel incantevole. Le camere sono moderne e pulite. Tutto è in perfetto ordine. Tutto il personale è fantastico e disponibile, inclusi reception, camerieri, personale del bar e addetti alle pulizie. Se non parlano inglese, faranno tutto il possibile per aiutarvi. Un bel tocco di benvenuto in camera è una bottiglia di vino, acqua e Fanta, Coca-Cola e Sprite in frigo. Le camere vengono pulite ogni mattina. Asciugamani e lettini in abbondanza. È anche possibile fare una passeggiata fino alla spiaggia deserta e sedersi lì. Ci siamo goduti l'intrattenimento serale con danze folcloristiche. Grazie ai nostri quattro adorabili rappresentanti TUI, tra cui Christine che lavora sodo e Natasha che organizza l'intrattenimento. Ci sono delle belle escursioni da fare e avrei fatto la gita di un giorno in Corsica se avessi avuto più tempo in hotel. Questo è un luogo di riposo e relax. Sarete molto fortunati se troverete un segnale telefonico o dati. L'hotel ha il Wi-Fi, ma è stato inattivo per 2 giorni quando sono stato lì e quando funziona è molto lento. Il cibo. C'è una buona varietà, ma purtroppo non possono servire piatti caldi. L'unica eccezione è la zuppa, che è bollente. Carne, pesce, pasta e pizza sono tutti tiepidi o freddi. Le verdure sono per lo più fredde. Buona selezione di dessert e gelati. È un vero peccato che, dopo aver continuato a lamentarsi del cibo freddo, non riescano proprio a farlo bene. Altrimenti avrei dato una recensione a 5 stelle. Il ristorante à la carte non è mai stato aperto ed è rimasto chiuso durante il nostro soggiorno.

Fabulous venue. Well organised. Clean rooms. Good bathroom & shower. Lovely private terrace. Great staff, bar & restaurant & food very good. Tui Rep , Margot , fabulous! Quiet & comfortable, super relaxed. Beach & sunbeds, beautiful, lovely shady beach bar, very pretty resort.

The hotel is very secluded and quiet. The food was good and generally hot, with reasonable choices even for fussy eaters like us! The waiters at lunch and dinner are very good at refilling your glasses. The staff are fantastic and can’t do enough for you. The bar staff recommend drinks that were similar to top shelf but free! All inclusive here doesn’t mean top shelf but the extras are cheap any way. You need to ask for peanuts and snacks in the evening with your drinks if wanted. The rooms are definitely tired and not up to TUI Blue standard. Our shower whilst spacious leaked from the shower head so the bathroom gets sprayed! The toilet seat never stayed on the toilet it just moved around on it. Toiletries are replenished daily. Twin sinks in our bathroom was nice touch. We had a double bed as we couldn’t ask for single beds, not a problem for us as we are sisters. The pillows are awful though, very hard and lumpy. Towels changed daily. Bathrobe and slippers are provided. We ventured into San Teodoro and caught the bus, the hotel tells you to download the DropTicket app to buy your tickets. All of which is great unless you don’t have roaming on your phone as the driver has to validate your ticket! You can use card or cash though on the bus, bring coins! Be aware the bus timetable means absolutely nothing. We waited nearly 2 hrs for the bus into town and 45 mins for the return one. The town had not a lot of shops and was mainly full of restaurants, although we found a super ice cream shop and had lemon ice and real dark chocolate ice cream. Very yummy. We also found a lovely drink shop that offered samples! There is entertainment most evenings which consists of a singer and the reps. The lighting at night on the route back to your room can be a bit hazardous so bring a torch
