We loved our stay at Upper Buckton B&B!! Would definitely recommend staying! The bedrooms are amazing (particularly Heron room) with a super king size very comfy bed and a huge bathroom. The B&B is very relaxing and quiet, perfect for a peaceful weekend away in the country. We stayed in December and the B&B was lovely and warm! The breakfast was brilliant, you could tell that Jonathan and Mary put a lot of effort in to go the extra mile to make it great! Location is great for exploring the area as it is close to lots of towns and castles but then far enough away to avoid crowds and relax after a day of sight seeing. We will definitely be back! :)

This is second time we've visited. Jonathan and Mary are excellent hosts. They pay great attention to whatever you need to make your stay comfortable. We particularly appreciate the ability to lock our ebikes away somewhere safe overnight and to charge them after a day of cycling. The breakfasts are delicious - no need to eat much during the day! We hope to visit again.

The hosts were excellent, they made you feel welcome, happy to help in any way, very informative. The accommodation was outstanding, comfortable, had everything we needed, with beautiful views. The breakfast was amazing, all freshly cooked and the dining room was exquisite such a beautiful environment regal but cosy. The guest House was beautifully presented every thing in its place and thoroughly clean. Will highly recommend it to anyone and we hope to return.

John and Mary made us very welcome into their beautiful home.. Our room was beautifully decorated, very comfortable and spotlessly clean. A large bathroom with a separate shower and bath. Bed and pillows very comfortable, Breakfast was plentiful and lovely. Also they went to alot of trouble to accomodate my food allergy. The location of the house is quite rural so you need a car to explore the area but there is plenty of places to visit. Thankyou for a lovely weekend, We will definately be returning..

Peaceful and tranquil surroundings, the perfect break if you would like to get away from all the hustle and bustle of a busy life. Jonathan was an amazing host, very welcoming and has a great sense of humour. Would definitely return and would recommend without hesitation.

We were delighted to discover Jonathan and Mary's B&B. This historic Georgian farmhouse is in a fantastic, peaceful location overlooking the most heavenly landscape. Breakfast on our first morning was served in a beautifully decorated dining room and then outside on the terrace for the second morning as the weather permitted. Jonathan is not only a great cook but the perfect host. We rate them as among the best breakfasts we have ever enjoyed in England and Ireland. The rooms are well appointed and very clean. We could easily stay here again despite the steep staircase posing a challenge to my wife with her walking difficulty.

Lovely spacious room in a very nice farmhouse. Although off the beaten track, Upper Buckton B&B was easy to find and offered a peaceful nights sleep. The hosts were friendly and helpful and the breakfast, cooked to order was superb.

Another wonderful stay at this very special place. Jonathan and Mary always make us feel welcome. Watching the red kites from our bedroom window was also a magical experience. Perfect antidote to the hustle and bustle of modern living. So looking forward to our next visit. Damian & Elaine
