I asked for a steak and called for „krwisty”. This could mean "blue" or "rare" – it doesn't really matter to me, but some restaurants don't serve blue steaks, so I'd be happy with either blue or rare. However, what I got was a typical medium steak, not even medium rare. In some parts, it was closer to medium well. I pointed this out to the staff. The response I received was that this was a rare steak, and that they could make it blue if I paid extra. I don't know in what universe this steak could be considered rare. I understand that most people prefer their steaks medium because they just want to eat a steak, but this was not what I expected. Personally, I don't acknowledge the higher levels of doneness as they simply don't have any flavor for me. The whole experience, including the conversation with the chef, was extremely odd. If someone wants a good steak, they might end up disappointed. I've added some reference photos, though I'm not sure if they're displaying correctly. I hope someone looks at them.
