Hotel in zona Arco del Cinquantenario, Bruxelles

In short, a dump for €170 per night (regardless of the rate they advertise). Long version: I checked into a 5th floor room at just after 2pm in mid-October. The only window, which opened to the roof, was open and it was about 10C outside and maybe 15C in the room - too cold to be comfortable. I noticed the smell of sewage. I’m tall, so I looked out the open roof window and could see a sewer roof vent about one meter from the open window. I immediately closed the window and turned on the radiator to “4” (full on) to warm the room up. 15 minutes after, I could smell mold or mildew in the room, possibly from the carpet - hence the open window. I attempted to work on my laptop but the Wi-Fi dropped out every 10-15 minutes. I tried 4 different Wi-Fi’s in the hotel and had the same problems. After 30 minutes, I checked the radiator - stone cold. I went back to the front desk and described the Wi-Fi problem. Response - “nothing I can do but I called the IT guy.” Fair enough. I asked about there being no heat in the room. Response “ give it an hour or two.” I left to explore a bit and had dinner. I returned at 8pm. Different guy at the front desk. Still no Wi-Fi with a stable connection. Still no room heat, and it was getting colder outside and in the room. I went back to the front desk. Responses were “I’ll get the IT guy to fix the Wi-Fi” and “give the radiator an hour or two to warm up”. I replied that I had given the radiator over 4 hours to warm up and the supply lines to the radiator were cold. I asked to be moved to a room with heat and and he said “nothing I can do”. I asked for them to check the furnace and they had nobody who could do that. Perhaps heat was out for the entire hotel and they were still booking and charging rooms on a cold October day. Who knows? I checked out (or attempted to) at 10 pm same day and requested a full refund. They had charged me a full three nights stay immediately upon check-in for a dingy, smelly hotel room without heat in late Autumn. In the end, they refused to refund any of the stay despite not being able to provide a heated room in mid-October in Brussels. What a dump. Save your money. There is a decent hotel 3 blocks away with both Wi-Fi and working room heat.

Nel complesso, è un buon posto in cui soggiornare se si vuole essere vicino al centro. Ci vogliono circa 10 minuti a piedi dalla stazione centrale di Bruxelles all'hotel. Anche se la stanza è piccola, ma è super pulita. È molto vicino a un posto super popolare, il ristorante WOLF, ci piace davvero molto. Solo per informazioni per altri viaggiatori, non è consentito utilizzare caffè, tè e tazze nelle camere. Se volete usare l'asciugacapelli, dovete procurarvelo alla reception. È gratuito per circa due ore.

Il ristorante dell'hotel è un luogo per la colazione, ma i cibi sono molti e il sapore è davvero buono.Non esagerare, la migliore memoria di Bruxelles è il cibo qui.Anche le uova di salsa sono deliziose. Il personale della reception è molto educato, mi saluta e molto amichevole.Il soggiorno e la partenza sono molto buoni. Ti suggeriscono di bere caffè quando parte. Quando rispondi, chiami il ristorante dell'hotel per preparare il caffè.Lavoro per me.Il mio lavoro è professionale. Sembra che ci siano piante da foglia in un hotel specializzato in giardinaggio, cortile e posti di pranzo.Inoltre, ci sono tre libri sul tavolo della stanza. Quando l'ho presa, pensavo fosse la Bibbia, e tre libri erano libri giardinieri.Questo è un impegno completo. Il pavimento sul corridoio è molto soffocante e puzza molto.Ci sono le scarpe sul corridoio, che è uno spazio meraviglioso per permetterti di parlare con qualcuno tutta la notte. Non credo che sia un problema di chiarezza. La posizione è buona, a dieci minuti a piedi dalla stazione settentrionale di Bruxelles, mentre la Grand Square ha venti minuti a piedi. Esperienza davvero fantastica a Bruxelles. L'hotel è facile da trovare dopo la metropolitana, un po' lontano dalla stazione centrale, ma va bene così! La stanza per una persona singola è davvero bella.

4 of us stayed here in a quad room which was surprisingly very spacious. The hotel is located within walking distance from Bruxelles-Midi Brussel-Zuid train station and bus depot where we caught the Flixibus. At the time the hotel was surrounded in scaffolding and looked like a building site but on entry the inside was clean although slightly cluttered as there was a lot in such a small reception. As you entered, a massive information stand stood separating the reception from the narrow breakfast area. The wooden reception area looked welcoming as lots of plants around and interesting pictures on the wall. Check in was quick & easy. The smallest and oddest lift and I've ever been in took us 2 at a time to the narrow corridors where we found our room. As we entered the room, there was a single bed to the left and the bathroom on the right. Long side the bed was a mirror and at the end of the bed was a chair, a large 5-headed lamp and a desk that held a fridge on one side with a flat screen TV above the desk. The TV could not be properly viewed from the single bed as it was in line with it so it would have probably been best viewed if the TV was placed in the corner for all sleeping areas to view. In front of the desk was a large L-shaped settee which was also wrongly set up to watch the TV as half of the settee meant you had your back to the TV. The settee was used as a bed and situated by a coffee table under a large window that had a city view. To the left of the settee was the large double bed with a headboard that had built in bedside drawers with bedside lamps on each one. Opposite the settee was a large, old-fashioned double wardrobe. There was another window in the room that was small and showed a small balcony which you couldn't access. The mosaic bathroom has 2 sinks with a glass shelf and a large mirror above plus a hairdryer next to them. There was also a bath with a shower hose attached to the bath taps and another small window viewing the inaccessible balcony. We didn't have breakfast but the breakfast area looked clean and basic with a coffee and vending machine and all with table settings for 2. At the end of the breakfast area was a large garden with some artistic statues and at the beginning was a small lounge area with armchairs and a coffee table. The hotel was also located within walking distance to the main shopping, restaurants, bars and club areas.

La ristrutturazione dell'hotel offre camere belle e confortevoli. La pulizia è data e i letti sono comodi. Un ventilatore è in piedi nella stanza, questa raffredda confortevolmente la stanza. La scelta del colazione è grande. C'è un grosso problema, la situazione. È assolutamente peggio. Anche se ci sono solo cinque minuti al centro, abbiamo deciso di andare con Uber. Poiché la gente del quartiere è molto aggressiva e non esita a rubare o minacciare qualcuno.

Il nostro volo è stato cancellato e il sistema utilizzato dall'aria di Bruxelles ci ha mandato in un hotel sovraprenotato. Abbiamo poi ricevuto un'offerta al Pentahotel dove Andrew ci ha curato eccellentemente. Era efficiente nel controllare un grande gruppo e trasferito colazione per noi. Poi si è assicurato che avessimo un viaggio all'aeroporto, dal momento che il sistema di taxi era anche sovrappolato

Hotel al top, molto buona marca di qualità quando si tratta di un nototel. Una bella colazione, ci sorprendeva la presenza di una macchina a sinistra! Qualità dei succhi di arancione pressa eccellente anche. La camera molto moderna, la lettera è perfetta, splendida e moderna bagno, solo piccolo bemol, il resto di sapone degli ex occupanti. Tv molto grande con molti canali francofoni. Il riscaldamento non ha nulla da segnalare, un po' troppo rumore.
