B&B Maison le Dragon

Superb. Beautiful house, great location, phenomenal value when compared to similar and all underpinned by Emmanuel's meticulous attention to detail. Thank you for the advice on what to do and where to go in Bruges and for giving us a memorable stay.

It was our good fortune to find the Maison le Dragon guesthouse available when looking for a place to stay in Bruges. From the moment we arrived, Emmanuel made us feel welcomed to his home. The rooms are exactly as pictured – very old world elegance that has been updated as needed, including an elevator, wonderful baths, and glorious A/C if needed. The beds were comfortable, linens were fine, and furnishings plentiful. The location was great with an added bonus of a secure garage steps from the front door. Emmanuel is very helpful with recommendations for restaurants, helping us find a great place for dinner when the place we had a reservation decided not to open one evening! The breakfast prepared by Emmanuel's wife Maka is fit for a king! Meats, cheeses, eggs, lots of fruit, pastries, yogurt, juices, fancy coffees, and more. It was amazing, given there are only four rooms with a limited number of guests! We have friends in Belgium and when we visited them, I remember the same hospitality for breakfast – lots and lots of options. I highly recommend this maison for a short or long stay in Bruges. You will not be disappointed!!! PS. We stayed at Relais Bourgondisch Cruyce on a prior trip and found Maison le Dragon Guesthouse was better in every way – larger rooms, better breakfast, better amenities, and great personal attention.

Staying here was a fantastic experience! The room was comfy and clean and the location was excellent. Emmanuel, the host, was welcoming and his breakfast was second to none. I am happy to recommend this Guesthouse and would be very pleased to return anytime - a real highlight of our recent trip to Europe!

My favorite accommodation of all time. I hope to return soon. The location is ideal, the house is stunning, and the breakfast is delicious, but it’s the welcoming hospitality from Manu and Maka that truly set it apart. Maison de Dragon is a wonderful part of our memories of Bruges!

We arrived via car and used the secure parking facility, which made things really simple. Guesthouse Maison le Dragon is a wonderful place. The attention to detail and thoughtfulness of the owners runs throughout the Guesthouse. Breakfast was a sumptuous affair with coffee, fresh fruit, pastries, bread, cheese, freshly made scrambled eggs and delicious chocolate. We had the pleasure of meeting Emmanuel and his Father - in addition to enjoyable conversation regarding shared interests, Emmanuel gave us several recommendations of places to explore within Bruges that made the trip even more special. We are always excited to return!

If I could of given this a 6 star then it would be there! This amazing guesthouse is in the centre of Bruges tucked down a side road but very quiet and tranquil. The rooms are beautifully appointed and individually decorated. The bathroom has a separate shower with a jacuzzi bath and a separate toilet. There is a mini bar, toiletries, hairdryer and air conditioning. The pictures do not do the place justice. Emmanuel and Meke were the perfect hosts and nothing was too much trouble. Emmanuel recommend two great restaurants (restaurant Christop and Brassiere Raymond) both of which were really good. The breakfast was a feast -tea, coffee, fresh orange juice, fresh fruit, breads, cheese, pastries, cooked breakfast if you could fit it in after all of the above and lastly Belgium chocolates! Amazing. An added bonus is there is secure parking at €20 per day. We are definitely going back to savour the delights of this super guesthouse and the beautiful city and it’s friendly people.
