Had an excellent stay. The reception was very friendly and even packed us a huge breakfast the next day since we were traveling early morning. Would definitely travel again here.

Alla ricerca di un hotel romantico e caratteristico non potevo trovare di meglio ! Hotel molto suggestivo , curato nei particolari e con arredi in tipico stile marinaro ! Camera e bagno piccoli ma confortevoli. Colazione a buffet molto varia sia per dolce sia per salato ; Personale accogliente e gentile . Piccolo park gratuito di fronte hotel ( 5 posti+2 X ricarica auto elettrica) ma comodo parking 24/24 a 6 euro al gg a pochi minuti dalla struttura ( vicino stazione ) Il centro si raggiunge comodamente a piedi in meno di 10 minuti .

Hotel situato in una chiatta molto comodo per visitare Bruges. In circa 10 minuti si arriva a piedi in centro. L'hotel dispone di posti parcheggio a pagamento a 15 euro a notte altrimenti per i più fortunati ci sono 5 parcheggi liberi + due per auto elettriche proprio di fronte all'hotel. Altra ottima alternativa è il parcheggio coperto della stazione a poco più di 6 euro al giorno (5 minuti a piedi dall'hotel). Colazione veramente ottima. Pane caldo fenomenale,pancake , brioches, salmone , uova,bacon,macedonia fresca (una rarità da trovare negli hotel) e spremuta di arancia. Consigliato come punto di appoggio originale per godere della bellissima Bruges.

Hotel is not particularly clean , boat is clearly old and hotel not had any money invested for a long time . Restaurant didn’t open , breakfast expensive and limited. The worst though was Bed bugs , I was bitten literally hundreds of times. Had every thing from the small lave to the fully grown dark red ones running over the beds,I have never experienced the effects of BED BUG bites but it is dreadful . Imagine mosquitos and x by 10 , huge swellings that itch non stop but only show some days after, by which time you are home and you’ve brought them home in your luggage, this hotel has had bedbug complaints dating back to 2019 ! They cannot be exterminated by chemicals ,

THIS PLACE IS FULL OF BED BUG. We stayed at De Barge with seven of us in the party in 4 rooms and its very dirty and shabby. Our room had a very bad odour, Our friend in the next room had bed bugs and was bitten all over. THE OWNER KNOWS THIS, BUT STILL BOOKS GUESTS IN. SHAME ON YOU!!!!!!

I stayed here with 3 friends and had a great experience. Very friendly and courteous staff. Very clean and something a little different. Excellent breakfasts. One of the staff, Emily was very kind and took the time to explain many aspects of life in Belgium. I can highly recommend this hotel.

A beautiful barge and a comfortable and welcoming hotel. The only reason I have given 4 stars instead of 5 is because the restaurant (which has amazing reviews) was closed, but they did tell us in advance. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful and the hotel is in an ideal location about a 10 minute walk from the station and about a 20 minute walk into the town centre - all on the flat too!

Bedbugs everywhere. So be careful if you stay here. The rooms are not clean. They are very dusty. Combined with the bedburgs ... I didn't sleep very wel. Also no airco. Very warm. Only breakfast was nice.

De Barge is very well located to explore Bruges and in a quiet area handy for the station. Recommend booking canal side view room, nice waking up to the ducks. The boat is fun, different & has everything you need. Beds were comfortable, breakfast very good, setting you up for the day.
