Hotel Lukashansl

Truly terrible. Avoid at all costs. I stayed there for a ski course. The building itself is somewhat 'tired'. In its day approx 30 years ago it would have been quite pleasant as its a fairly traditional Austrian hotel. But maintenance and upkeep has obviously been done to a budget and fairly poorly. But for budget accommodation it could be more than acceptable except for the following significant issues. 1] It is used as a base for accommodation for a lot of ski courses, which means large groups of younger and understandably boisterous students. If you are looking to stay as a private guest, this is something to consider 2] Food. Absolutely appalling. When you see the owners husband eating at the local restaurants, no further comment is needed. Although I was on a package which included evening meals, I would dine out. 3] Hygiene. Cleaning is basic at best and on closer examination of accommodation, there is a grubby feel to the place. Whatever you do, don't go into the kitchens. Horrifying. Also the owners' 2 yappy dogs are given free rein to wander round in there. Draw your own conclusions.. 4] THE OWNERS. I have never experienced such miserable, rude and antisocial people in my life. The guests are obviously a total inconvenience to them and are treated with total disdain. Makes Basil Fawlty look like a saint. Lots of fees ( i.e. tourist tax ) are cash only. Room prices seem to be made up on the spot. Again, draw your own conclusions.

Have been coming here for years its a very nice hotel with friendly staff and nice food. Set in the beautiful area of Bruck, with good links to one of the best and biggest ski resort in Austria (Schmitten)

Great holiday - great hotel! Location, rooms, staff, bar, music, food, excursions - all top! We had a great time and will for sure come again! There are great excursions in this area and back at the hotel we had nice evenings with good food and wine. Some evenings we had live music at the hotel bar - really nice!

If it were possible, I would rate it minus 1! I've been to many places, but I've never met such jerky staff! Not a smile, not a thank you... They cut something that can't be called food in front of you! The "server's" hair is hanging in the food They can't cook, the taste and texture of the food is unclassifiable!! There was a day when they weren't even able to serve us, we had to go to the kitchen where they were cooking to get the food!! They don't even know about hygiene! The rooms are smelly and dirty! Things are broken in the bathroom! Everyone should avoid this leprosy colony far away

Das schlechteste Hotel, in dem ich je gewesen bin. Unfreundlicher und distanzierter Empfang, ohne jegliche Erklärung. Sehr veraltetes Zimmer (das Hotel insgesamt ist ebenfalls sehr altmodisch). Nur das Badezimmer wurde renoviert, aber man hat vergessen, eine Duschwand anzubringen, sodass das Badezimmer komplett unter Wasser stand, wenn man duschte. Das Frühstück war sehr begrenzt. Einmal in 7 Tagen wurde ich gefragt, ob ich ein Ei möchte. An einem Tag gab es sogar keine Brötchen. Der Kaffee war allerdings lecker.

Wir waren zur Traktor WM am Großglockner für einige Tage im Hotel Lukashansl zu Gast. Mit 11 Männern haben wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt, wir konnten früher einchecken als von uns gebucht, und haben perfekte Parkmöglichkeiten für alle Fahrzeuge ohne weitere Kosten nutzen können. Alles super klasse und immer wieder gern, danke Riki !!!
