Hotel in zona Corey Hill Playground, Brookline

We were moving our daughter into college nearby - she and her dad drove xcountry with her car and we needed a place to park a car while we were here that was easier to access than her campus parking. The people complaining about the parking clearly have not paid the parking fee at the larger hotels in the city. $9 is a bargain and the reason we chose this place. We also appreciated the very reasonable room rate and location in a leafy neighborhood walking distance to some of our favorite places and our daughters dorm. It is not fancy, the furnishings are dated, linens just ok, in room bathrooms adequate but tiny, very little space for clothes and the breakfast is nothing to write home about. On the plus it is clean and the location is great. The value for money in Boston is hard to beat. If you need more modern updated accommodations without the quirks of an old home you will pay a lot more. Honestly, some of the higher end places we stayed had similar issues due to age but had just put a prettier cover on top and charged several times more. We would definitely stay again for visits to see our daughter. Very responsive and nice staff. We made a request to move to a room with a king bed our third night when it became available and they had no problem accommodating our request.

L'hotel era in una buona posizione e pulito. Ho avuto un problema con l'accesso al parcheggio .. la tariffa ... l'inconveniente ... la mancanza di dettagli e di supporto era solo frustrante. Non dovrebbe essere pagato un canone per parcheggiare durante la notte ... l'auto non è mai stata spostata e non è stato facile lasciare.

Con i bambini andare alle attività dell'Università di Harvard, il comitato organizzativo ha deciso questo hotel. Fortunatamente, l'hotel è nuovo e appartiene a piccole e delicatezze. Dopo aver soggiornato sei notti, i miei figli tornano presto e tardi ogni giorno, io stesso cammino per ogni attrazione dell'hotel e di Boston, la posizione geografica è buona, non lontano da Cambridge e Newbury. Valet parcheggia il 45° giorno, la colazione è molto comune, il servizio del personale è buono, la pulizia della stanza è un giorno dopo. Il principale difetto è il riscaldamento troppo alto, quindi di solito chiudo cinque minuti e la temperatura è abbastanza per usarlo.

I arrived early and they were able to find me a room that was available which was very nice. As a Globalist they offered a 4 pm checkout and free breakfast. Got a nice room facing the Charles River. A pleasant stay and very convenient to MIT. Also nice that they now have a shuttle that will take you to Kendall, Central or Harvard Square.

Non abituato a non avere un bagno/toilette all'interno. Sebbene aggiornato a una stanza con un bagno/toilette, è molto affollato. Anche il letto non è il solito letto di un hotel.

L'hotel era così pulito e le camere erano grandi con letti confortevoli. Il colazione era anche perfetto per un hotel a servizio di te stesso.

Hotel muito bem decorado, restaurante muito bom disponível dentro do hotel. Quartos amplos e muito confortáveis. Café da manhã com muitas opções de com atendentes muito simpáticos e prestativos. Recomendo!

The good: Room was reasonably clean and the beds were satisfactory and the front desk staff were very nice. However overall the room was in poor repair and the sink and closet areas were tiny (see photo) and absolutely unacceptable for a room with even 1 guest let alone the 4 it could legally house. The sink area had no room for toiletries so fixing hair and makeup had to occur at the weird desk area with a hand mirror and horrible lighting as there was no mirror at all in the bedroom area. The sink and closet were a fraction of the size shown in the website pictures. Our luggage had to stay in the room floor because there was no way it fit in the closet. Electrical outlets over the only bedside table (between the double beds) were so loose they wouldn’t hold the plugs in place to our CPAPs so we had to run the cords across the mattress behind the pillows from wall plugs on the opposite side of the bed. The hang up button on the phone is broken and stuck all the way down so when we needed to use the room phone we had to pry it up with a nail file to get dial tone. The shower curtain isn’t wide enough to cover the entire shower and kept sagging in the middle causing water in the floor. The towels were incredibly thin and rough as if they were line dried. And the biggest annoyance of all is we had to have our keys reprogrammed multiple times while we were there because according to three different front desk members the keys become deprogrammed if they are placed by a cell phone or other electronic device. We’ve used lots of electronic keys and never had to be sure to segregate our key cards from anything. If the management saw how many people we ran into over the weekend who were annoyed by being unable to get in the rear door or their rooms they would fix that immediately. We were there for a wedding weekend and supposedly got a better block room rate than normal but family who stayed at a nearby Holiday Inn Express had MUCH better rooms, free breakfast, free parking and their rate was significantly less. I am a long time Marriott traveler but would have moved to a different hotel had we been staying for more than 3 days. I keep reading they are going to renovate but I saw no signs of that on the side of the hotel we stayed on although they did appear to be working on a drainage issue in the back.
