From the moment we checked in Anna and Boyd made us feel so welcome. Rooms were clean and extremely comfortable. The evening meal (steak pie ) was delicious and the breakfast was genuinely up there with the best I’ve had. Quality ingredients that were perfectly cooked. Can’t recommend this place enough as a base to explore the New Forest. Thank you for helping making our cycling break so enjoyable.

Exceptional service at The Huntsman. The accommodation and food were excellent, provided by the Landlords Anna and Boyd. We stayed 4 days to tour the New Forest and enjoyed great ale and food in the restaurant. Looking forward to a return trip.

We always visit The Huntsman on our regular visits to Brockenhurst. Good service good food. Never had anything other than a good time here. The only disappointment is the pizza oven going..... Other than that, thoroughly recommend based on our experiences

Stayed for 5 days over the New Year period with our daughter, 2 small dogs and 2 other families. From the moment we arrived, we were met with friendliness until we we left. Boyd and Anna did everything possible to make our stay a great experience. Rooms very good, food and location fantastic. Great fun with the skittle ally. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Due to be refurbished in Jan 2025 by Youngs group. We wish Boyd and Anna all the best for their new business future and look forward to returning.

Lovely stay. Room was very comfortable, no Complaints at all . Breakfast both mornings was lovely, served by the owners / managers I believe. They were very friendly & helpful in every way . We ate there one night & the food was delicious, the second night they were very busy with an Xmas party but it didn’t detract from the enjoyment of our stay. We will definitely return !

We absolutely love The Huntsman. This was our second visit, the first time being this time last year. The rooms are tastefully converted stables around a courtyard garden. There are picnic benches and tables for those not wishing to use the main pub garden. The hotel is attractive with a fantastic beer garden, unexpectedly spacious. We had booked bed and breakfast and also ate in in our first night. A varied restaurant menu with delicious food. The team are professional and friendly. Great spot. Thank you to all of The Huntsman team. We will be back, ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I want to say a huge thank you to Anna, who was so helpful when I was organising a business meeting and stay over at The Huntsman for some colleagues! They came back very appreciative of how well they were looked after and how lovely the place and area was. We hear there will be a small renovation and look forward to seeing the final look!

We stayed for one night with 2 teenagers. The rooms were cosy, clean and spacious. This is the 3rd time we have stayed - and there is always a very warm welcome. It is laid back and comfortable and a very relaxing stay. It's right in the centre of Brockenhurst - minutes walk from the station. Easy access to the forest. Breakfast is very good local produce with fab St Ewe's eggs! We also had family join us for dinner during the evening. Food was great, service very friendly and a lovely dining room to enjoy our meal in. It is definitely our go to when staying with family in the forest.

Boyd and his team looked after us so well and made my 80th birthday party really special. The food was amazing and so was the service. We stayed for a long weekend with family members and can't wait to return. All the staff were friendly and helpful. I had a fantastic birthday, thanks to them all.
